Late Night Visitor
Rory Gilmore breathes a sigh of relief as she stepped out onto the parking lot and walked to her car. She couldn’t believe that she worked over time for 2 weeks in a row. What a time for Finn to get the flu he was convinced he could not get over. She knew he was over it. Sure they were practically best friends but she also knew he was a bit lazy. But, he did promise her he would be back to work on Monday. By the sound of his voice she knew she could trust him.
The drive home went smoothly as well. She decided to call her mom since she was neglecting her lately because of work.
“Hey mom"
"Wow am I hearing things or is this long lost daughter who I haven’t heard from in such a long time."
"It’s been two weeks mom."
"Well I'd like to remind you that we are both freakishly linked, so two weeks is a century."
Rory couldn’t help but laugh her mom had a way of overreacting at times.
"So the over times finally over?"
"Yea Finn promised he would be back on Monday."
"Wow he finally got over the flu."
"He's been over it."
"Yea I know its just fun to ask."
"Well I’m going to go. I just want to eat loads of junk food and fall asleep to the TV."
"Alright sweets. Get some rest and tell Finn I said he owes you for this."
"Alright love you."
“Love you too."
Rory decided to stop of at the store first since she knew her refrigerator would be empty. On her way home after that she thought she would give her husband Tristan a call. Even if he was out of town on business she knew she was neglecting him as well since she wasn’t able to call him as much as she wanted to because of work. When Rory dialed Tristan's number she found it very strange that he wasn’t answering his phone.
"That’s weird he usually does at this time." She told herself.
Sighing and just brushing it of that he might be in the shower or something, she reached there home. The street was so deserted by this time and it always gave Rory the creeps. She got out of the car and entered the house but before she knew what was happening a hand reached out and clasped over her mouth.
