Title: Hitting the Enemy
Author: scots_rock
Pairing: Charlie/Sawyer, with appearances of other members from LOST
Rating: R (mainly)
Summary: A different version of the punching scene from epi 14, for I have a different plan with them both *muahahaha*
Disclaimer: Yes, Charlie and Sawyer would fit perfectly. But no, just my *stupid* imagination.
Feedback: is like a Sawyer/Charlie – Fic! Means: GREAT!!!!
Author's Notes: No one wrote a Charlie/sawyer Ff! T_T Well, then I’m going to be the first one.

~***~

Charlie was searching for Claire’s diary all night long. It couldn’t be that it just transformed itself into thin air! He nearly gave up but the next day he happened to meet Kate and he told her about it. Kate nodded knowingly, because she had a suspicion who could be in the possession of it.

“Hey Sawyer! Ey, Sawyer!”, she called, when they both arrived at his tent, but no one answered.

“You know, I could just walk in and…”, Charlie began but was interrupted by a “Trick or treat!”

Sawyer. Since Claire had gone Charlie was watching him very closely. He didn’t know why. He still missed Claire, but Sawyer had something that would draw him always near him. He would be often seen near Sawyer, not talking to him or walking with him but looking at him. He would be standing or sitting for hours and hours almost admiring Sawyer.

“So, what are you two sellin’ today?”, Sawyer asked with a mocking tone.

“Where’s Claire’s diary? Someone took it.”, Charlie explained.

“Oh, I get it. Somethin’ goes missing and right away you think that I’ll have it.”

“Do you have it or not?”, Kate asked impatiently and warningly.

“You mean this one?”, asked Sawyer back and held up a little blue notice book.

“Give it to me.”, Charlie responded at once, stepping forward.

“No, I don’t think that’s the best idea. Maybe Missy Claire didn’t want you to read it!”

“I wasn’t gonna read it!”

Sawyer laughed.

“Oh, but I did! Kind of boring around here. This little lecture though… Wow. Didn’t know she was that dirty!”

“You bastard! Did you read it? He read it!”, Charlie shouted out, turning to Kate for support.

“Dear Diary,”, Sawyer read out aloud. “I ‘m totally in love with that cutie from the caves. Bet He can fuck the shit out of me. With or without that little thing in my stomach…”, Sawyer read.

Stop it!”, Charlie shouted, took one more step towards Sawyer, who was now standing big and dangerous in front of him, and tried to reach for the little book.

“Oh, that was close!”

Charlie wasn’t in the mood to jump up and down, he knew Sawyer was too tall for him, and with an outstretched arm it was impossible to get the diary back.

“I’ll tell ya what, kid. Fight with me and whoever wins, gets the diary.”, proposed Sawyer, a shimmer in his eyes.

Sawyer threw the journal beside him on his seating place and was ready to attack Charlie.
Charlie, however, wasn’t sure if he should start a fight now. Especially not against Sawyer. But he couldn’t end that thought for Sawyer punched him right in the face, letting Charlie fall hard on the sand. He tried to stand up, but as he was nearly standing on his two feet again Sawyer kicked him hard in the stomach, lifting Charlie a few centimeters in the air before Charlie crashed down to the ground. He coughed. But Sawyer wasn’t finished with him yet. He started to kick Charlie hard in stomach, chest and legs. Charlie writhed painfully, crouching underneath Sawyer. Then luckily Kate reacted and threw herself on Sawyer, knocking him down.

“Stop it, Sawyer!”

Kate rolled off Sawyer and went to help Charlie.

“What is it with you, Wannabe Rock God? Didn’t teach you your brother to fight?”, asked Sawyer, slowly standing up.

Charlie didn’t respond but wondered why the hell Sawyer knew all these things about him. Kate put an arm around Charlie and began to walk back to the caves, without the diary. Charlie didn’t turn around. But if he had done that he would have seen that Sawyer was grinning. An evil, wanting and mocking grin…
