Jane walk’s into her apartment with her arms full of groceries from the market. Not realizing in time that Nikki had left the place a bit messed up in her hurry to get packed up for her trip with friends trips over a pillow sending of all her groceries flying.
As she struggle to get up and turn on the light she trips over the end table yelping in pain.
Tarzan having been waiting in her window for Jane to come home hears her cry out, and dashes to Jane.
Startled by the shock of someone suddenly write next to her she jumps slipping on her purse still laying on the floor.
Seeing Jane falling, Tarzan quickly and easily catches her with ease sporting his usual endearingly sexin. in.
“Thanks, John.” Jane managed to grind out between clenched jaws.
‘This was embarrassing and ridiculous,’ she thought. Normally she didn’t have problems with coordination. As he gently righted her and set her back on her feet she realized that even on a good day she was a little self-conscious being near John. He was the most balanced, graceful and body aware person she had ever known. ‘What can he be thinking about that display of grace?-NOT!,’ she wondered, making sure both feet were firmly planted on the floor this time.
Seeing her obvious discomfort, John tried to hide his grin. “Your Welcome,” he responded still holding on to her arms and looking into her velvet brown eyes.
Under John’s watchful eyes Jane quickly began to pick up her groceries.
Seeing what she was doing John immediately joined in picking up the spilled items. Feeling her usual dark blush quickly taking over Jane was especially cautious how much she attempted to pick up at once, had already headed for the counter to set the stuff down.
Turning to help finish picking up Jane was surprised to see John had already grabbed everything and was now standing immediately behind her to see where she wanted him to put everything.
‘’Wow, how do you do that?’’
‘’Do what?’’ asked John
‘’Keep from dropping everything?’’
‘’Why would I drop anything?’’ John replied
‘’I keep forgetting how well you balance yourself in any situation’’ answered Jane
‘’It’s natural, anyone can’’ stated John
‘’I wish’’ thought Jane
‘’Not all of us are naturally graceful like you’’ Jane stated
Stepping right next to Jane ’’I could teach you’’ offered John in a husky voice causing the hair on Jane’s neck to stand up at the thought.
‘’I just may take you up on that’’ answered Jane feeling the blush she already had reaching even darker shades by the second.
Dropping her eyes to the floor, Jane stepped back and turned to open the fridge. “Like that,” John said. Putting the milk on the top shelf she looked back at John, “What?”
“You didn’t turn your head,” he said. “Look before you move.”
“Good point,” Jane said, “but this is my apartment. I already know where everything is.” John just looked at her with a skeptical expression on his face. “Alright, alright,” she said cracking a smile, “Things can change, like Nicki’s junk and my purse. I got it.” Jane exaggeratedly turned her head before the rest of her body on the way to put the cereal in the cupboard. John’s expression changed to a small smug smile.
‘’Stop making fun of me’’ Jane playfully scolding John.
