CHAPTER SEVEN

O.K. I KNOW I SAID I WAS GOING TO WAIT UNTIL I HAD SOME MORE FEEDBACK, BUT I CAN'T RESIST POSTING A LITTLE MORE.

“Now this time listen to what I sound like walking. Recognize the difference between me, and a

distraction.” deciding to give her the remainder of the instructions to avoid talking once he moved

so she would not find him so easily.

Walking towards the couch to gracoupcouple pillows, John watched to see if Jane was able to hear

him. Seeing that she was able to follow the direction he was by noticing she had her head slightly

turned in his direction,

John threw a pillow gentle enough for it to stay towards the floor landing a few feet in front of her

on the opposite side of the room.

Crouching down quickly, and swinging around in the direction of the noise, Jane froze listening

for any more sounds. Realizing that it had to be a distraction since it was way to light to have

been John, she turned back in the direction she had thought he was before.

Crouching near the opened window now, John had a satisfied smile on his face seeing that she had

not been fooled so easily. Thinking to himself” She is not as easy t trick as I thought. That

should make it harder for the bad guy’s to catch her off guard”.

Tired of standing in the same place for so long, Jane carefully moved towards what she hoped was

the wall by her bedroom figuring it would be more difficult to sneak up on her if there were fewer

sides to come at her from.

John seeing where she was heading noticed that she was heading straight for the pillow. He

became worried that she might slip on it. Guessing she must have been a little more turned around

than he first thought, or else she would not be going in the direction he threw the pillow in.

Quickly deciding that he had to get it before she tripped on it.

Still crouched down, he moved around towards the wall she was heading for, and did a quick lunge

and rolled for the pillow just before Jane stepped down on it.

Suddenly feela rua rush of warm air, Jane froze in mid step not wanting to get caught off guard

if John was trying to surprise her again.

Figuring she sensed where he was now, John decided to try a new approach.

Quickly running to the window, not worrying if she heard him he jumped out, grabbing onto the

pole out side of Jane’s bedroom window. He easily climbed into her room.

Hurryin mak make sure she did not go towards the window to follow the sounds he made, John

exited her bedroom heading back into the living room.

“I know I heard him this time” thought Jane heading in the direction she was sure he was, hoping

to catch him before he had the chance to do anymore surprise’s.

Walking back into the living room, John saw that Jane had in fact heard him, and was now

heading towards the window crouching slightly, thankful he had told her to crouch down so she

would not be at risk of falling out the window.

Stoppwhenwhen the breeze ran a crossed her body, Jane realized that John could not be in front of

the window after all to have felt that much of the breeze reach her.

“I have to end this lesson quick or I am going to go crazy.” was all Jane could think of since she

wattintting way to revved up knowing he could jump out at her at any second, but yet he still had

not even seemed to try.

More determined than ever, Jane turned around towards the direction she came from thinking she

heard something in her bedroom.

Feeling more confident that she knew where in tpartpartment she was, Jane quickly headed to her

bedroom careful not to walk into the wall instead of the doorway.

Curious to see how she would react to a different approach, John climbed to the top of Jane’s

door enough to hang above the handle in case she felt her way alon

“Now I know I heard something this time”. Thought Jane as she began to enter bed bedroom.

Stopping just inside her bedroom, Jane stood perfectly still listening for any sign of where he

might be hiding. After a few seconds she was able to hear a faint pattern of breathing to her left.

“What in world is he up to now. It sounds like he is on the ceiling.” Jane thought to herself.

Figuring that could only mean that he must have climbed the door since thas ths the only way he

could be up so far.

Not wanting to tip him off that she knew where he was, she did a wide turn towards her window,

but not actually going to it. She wanted to be able to reach around, and grab John surprising him

for once.

John was confident that she would not figure out where he was until he saw her stop inside the

room not moving. Instead of jumping at her right away he decided to wait and see what she would

de tde to do.

Yelling triumphantly “Gotcha” she spun around quickly reaching up and grabbing behind the

door figuring she would catch John by the arm. However the way he was hanging on it she wound

up grabbing his huge muscular leg.
