Part XLVI
Visions are in italics
Tampa, Florida-Two days later
Sicily crawled her way up Dmitry’s gorgeous naked body licking away the remnants of his release. Although she was sexually satisfied with her Sire’s performance, she felt like Dmitry had not been fully invested in their intimacy.
“Are you alright Sire?” she asked as her tongue snaked its way across Dmitry’s nipple.
Dmitry abruptly pushed the female vamp off his body causing the red-head to nearly fall into the floor, “Have you noticed you only call me Sire when you want something or when you feel guilty?”
Sicily slid her way back up the bed towards Dmitry, “It was meant to be a sign of respect.”
Dmitry looked at his lovely Childe and sneered, “You’re nothing but a whore Sicily; a whore who’s afraid of losing her meal ticket.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Sicily demanded hastily getting off the bed.
Dmitry looked upon her pale soft nakedness and felt nothing but loathing for his Childe, “You’re afraid that Alexei and I will shun you from the family once this little matter with Christian is over. You’re afraid that Alexei will have you exiled or even destroyed for your betrayal.”
“I was just giving you what I thought you wanted,” Sicily argued grabbing her silk red robe and placing it over her shoulders. “If you didn’t want to fuck me all you had to do was say so.”
Dmitry tried to push the unnatural rage down; tried to find the vampire who once lived inside is mind, “I’m sorry Childe. I just haven’t been myself since the resurrection.”
Sicily cautiously sat down on the bed filled suddenly with concern for her Sire, “I promise you that I didn’t screw it up on purpose…I didn’t mean for you to come back like this; so angry all the time and feeling out of control of your emotions.”
Dmitry reached out for Sicily and felt a secret thrill when she instinctively backed away from his touch, “I know you didn’t do this on purpose, and I forgive you for the mistakes made in the past. We’ve all made some brainless miscalculations over the last few months, but I plan on rectifying those errors very soon.”
Sicily climbed back in the bed and rested her head on Dmitry’s chest, “You mean to destroy him, don’t you?”
“Both of them,” Dmitry clarified feeling the now familiar rage returning. “Once both Dean and Christian are dead, all of this will simply go away.”
Sicily highly doubted that, but she wisely didn’t voice her opinion. “And you’re sure that Christian took him there?”
Dmitry petted Sicily’s long red locks, “It’s a special place to Christian. I took him there once many years ago.”
“You think he’d be careless enough to take him to this place?” Sicily daringly asked.
Dmitry closed his eyes visualizing the small reclusive house located on the beach that he had once shared with Christian, “He loves Italy and the sea, and since he can’t fly great distances without much planning; especially with a new fledgling, it will be natural for him to take his precious Dean there.”
“I wish you would reconsider and leave them be,” Sicily remarked. “I worry for your safety.”
Dmitry fumed silently and it took everything he had not to squish the brains out of Sicily’s head, but he knew that she might prove useful in the next day or two. “Christian cannot beat me; nor can you my dearest Childe, so don’t worry about me and let me take care of everything that needs to be done.”
“Of course Sire,” Sicily replied respectfully.
“How about we go get a bite to eat,” Dmitry smiled. “I’m starving.”
Sicily had noticed that Dmitry had fed every night since his rebirth and she grew even more worrisome. Usually Dmitry would feed once or twice a year, but his bloodlust had been out of control since his resurrection; thus, further proving that something wasn’t quite right with her Sire. “What are you in the mood for, a virginal girl that you can violate and suck dry…or perhaps a strapping young man that you can overpower?”
“I was thinking more on the lines of something religious. I haven’t pissed off God in a while,” Dmitry purred thinking of the satisfaction he would feel as he sucked the life out of God’s faithful servant. “Plus, you know how fond I am of looking at crucifixes.”
“You are so deliciously evil,” Sicily giggled as she placed a small kiss on her Sire’s chest. “Let’s get dressed and find us a church or a rectory.”
“I’m sure we’ll find one where we’re headed,” Dmitry remarked finding peace within his mind yet again as he held on lovingly to his Childe.

Daytona Beach, Florida
Sam watched in horror as Dean tore into John’s neck and slashed at the tender flesh. Sam tried to help, but he felt paralyzed as Christian held him in place with his hand up against the wall. “Dean, stop it! You’re going to kill him!”
“That’s the point,” Christian smirked watching in satisfaction as Dean took his first kill. “You couldn’t save him this time Sam. It’s too late for Dean, and soon it will be too late for you as well.”
“I’m going to kill you!” Sam threatened feeling his eyes filling with tears as he watched his own brother killing their father.
“Not if Dean kills you first,” Christian surmised.
Dean suddenly let go of John’s body and let it drop lifelessly to the ground, “Damn, that was tasty!”
“I told you that you would love it,” Christian replied maintaining his hold on Sam even as the human struggled. “Want seconds?”
Dean looked Sam up and down and licked his bloody plump lips, “You still want me Sam? You still want to fuck me and use me as a sperm donor?”
Sam couldn’t take his eyes of his beautiful brother, “I love you Dean. Don’t do this.”
Dean stepped up close enough so that Sam could smell John’s blood on his mouth. “Love me? Yeah, I guess you do love me when you got your dick shoved up my ass…calling me a whore, making me beg for it.”
“Dean, I never meant to hurt you. Never meant to degrade you like that,” Sam argued. “It’s just that Christian made me lose my mind; he made me do those things to you.”
Dean looked over at his Sire, “Is that so? Did you make my brother the horny bastard he is? Made him want to fuck and desecrate his own flesh and blood?”
“I’m pleading the fifth on that one,” Christian wisely replied. “Seems to me that Sammy here liked fucking your sweet ass, and I know for a fact he loved pounding into your mouth.”
Dean slipped down to this knees and unbuckled Sam’s belt, “Yeah he did, loved making me gag on his cock.” Dean slipped his hand inside Sam’s pants somewhat surprised that Sam was flaccid and unresponsive, “What’s the matter Sammy, I don’t turn you on anymore?”
Sam looked at the opposite wall willing himself not to respond to Dean’s ministrations, “Rather difficult getting it up when I just saw my own brother sucking the blood out my father’s body.”
Dean pouted, “I’m hurt Sammy, truly I am.” Dean yanked down Sam’s underwear and tugged harshly on the limp appendage. “Oh well, it makes it easier to do this anyway.”
Without warning, Sam jerked off the wall and yelled in agony as Dean maliciously sunk his razor-like fangs into his soft prick and yanked hard. Sam looked down in shock in time to see blood squirting out of his partially amputated organ onto Dean’s angelic face causing him to scream his throat raw.
“That’s what you get for fucking your brother Sammy,” Christian cruelly laughed. “Didn’t your mother teach you better?”
Sam sucked in several breaths trying to push the painful vision from his head. “Jesus! Where the hell did that come from?” He unconsciously grabbed his crotch verifying that he was still in one piece. His head was throbbing and his hands were shaking in fear and in shock. He stared out into the night sitting in the passenger seat of the Impala waiting for his father to come out of the convenient store. He knew that he could never tell John of his latest vision; not really sure his father would even sympathize with the pain Dean had vexed upon him in the vision.
“He’d probably think I deserved it,” he mumbled to himself.
He was pulled from his thoughts when his phone rang. He stared at the caller ID on his phone but didn’t recognize the caller. If it hadn’t been for the flurry of phone calls he had made earlier in the day following up leads at local motels and such; he would have let the mysterious call go to this voice mail, but he knew that he couldn’t risk missing a call from a person who could provide a clue to Dean’s whereabouts.
“Hello,” Sam offered. He was greeted by silence, “Hello?”
“Sam,” a raspy voice whispered.
“Dean?” Sam asked in surprise. “Is that you?”
“It’s me,” Dean quietly replied. “I don’t have long before he returns, but I wanted to warn you to stay away.”
“Where the hell are you Dean?”
Dean nervously sat on a couch listening for any signs of Christian’s return, “Just stay away Sam; I don’t want to hurt you.”
Sam saw John coming across the well lit parking lot towards the car, pointed at the phone, and anxiously waived for his father to hurry. “Dean, have you taken your first kill?”
Dean listened intently; scared that Christian would catch him talking to his family, “Not yet, but it’s getting more and more difficult each day. He’s getting angry with me, and he’s…”
“Dean, is he hurting you?” Sam interrupted.
“Hasn’t he always?” Dean replied ashamed at his own weakness. “I refuse to kill, so he’s doing everything in his power to intimidate and scare me into submission.”
“Where is he?” Sam asked watching as John got into the car. He mouthed Dean’s name pointing at the phone, “Where are you?”
Dean sat frozen in place glimpsing out a window into the darkness of night, “He went out for a bit. He said that I was making him angry; angry enough to kill me.”
John tried to grab the phone from Sam’s grasp, but Sam held onto the phone firmly, “So he doesn’t find your charming attitude that appealing after all?”
Dean grinned softly, “My charm is an acquired taste I suppose, but he’s enraged at my refusal to except his precious gift of immortality.”
“Keep being stubborn Dean,” Sam replied. “Tell me where you are and I’ll come and take you away from him.”
Dean began shaking his head in denial, “I can’t let you do that…he’d kill you, and I can’t let him use me to get to you.”
John was snapping his fingers desperately trying to get Sam to give him the phone. “Let me talk to him.”
Sam ignored John’s command, “Dean, where are you? We can save you.”
“It’s too late for that,” Dean whispered recognizing his father’s voice in the background.
“No it’s not Dean,” Sam pleaded. “Don’t you dare do this…let me help you, please.”
“I’m a monster Sam,” Dean remarked feeling the first tears falling from his eyes. “I drink his blood…let him use my body like a fucking rag doll. I’m not worth saving. Do yourself a favor and forget about me.”
“Are you fucking kidding me with this shit?” Sam barked. “Stop fucking feeling sorry for yourself and tell me where the fuck you are before it’s too late!”
John yanked the phone from Sam’s hand, “Dean, I need for you to be my soldier. Be strong and obey me.”
“Dad,” Dean cried. “I thought you might already be dead. Christian said that Alexei had you.”
“He let me escape for some reason, but both of us are alright at the moment,” John replied. “We’re both so worried about you Son. Tell me where you are…that’s an order Dean.”
Dean had never been able to resist his father’s commands; had been unable to say no to the man he was willing to walk through fire for. “Naples.”
John sighed in relief, “I’m assuming as in Florida not Italy.”
“Yes,” Dean confirmed John’s assumption. “We got here last night. I don’t know the address or anything, but it’s a house.”
“We can work with that,” John smiled. “Hang in there for me Dean.”
“I got to go,” Dean replied quickly disconnecting the phone.
“Dean!” John cried.
“What is it?” Sam asked frantically.
“He hung up on me,” John explained handing Sam back his phone. “Obviously, that bastard retuned.”
“Did he tell you where he was?”
John put the key into the ignition and listened as the Impala roared to life. “Naples.”
Sam ran his hands anxiously up and down his thighs in apprehension, “Do you think we can take Christian down?”
“If he’s by himself it won’t be a problem,” John replied pulling onto the main road, “but you better make some calls and see if we can get some help down here.”
Sam watched as his father headed towards Interstate 4 and thought back to his vision; the vision of Dean killing and torturing them both, and he couldn’t help but to wonder if Dean’s call was meant to serve as a convenient trap.

Dean carefully placed the phone back on its cradle and hoped that the other vampire had not heard his whispers from outside. With his preternatural hearing, Dean could hear the ocean waves as they crested onto the deserted beach, the cry of the seagulls as they flew overhead, and the sound of the refrigerator running; but he had a hard time hearing the other vampire. Christian practically walked with his feet barely touching the ground; graceful and elegant in his moments, while Dean lumbered around like a klutz. However, he had heard the stolen Buick pulling into the driveway in the back of the house causing him to hang up the phone.
Dean waited apprehensively, waiting for his Sire to make his presence known. He sat on the couch listening for the slightest hint of the other vampire’s whereabouts but heard no sound. His back faced the kitchen door, so he slowly turned his neck to face the direction from which Christian should appear. He couldn’t help but to wonder if the older vampire had heard his conversation with his family; overheard yet another betrayal on his part.
“Why you so nervous?” Christian asked from a top the stairs that led to a quaint loft.
Dean turned back around looking out the large window that overlooked the sea avoiding Christian’s gaze, “I’m not nervous.” Dean’s mind was frantic trying to figure out how the other vampire had gotten past him.
“Well, you’re definitely focused on something,” Christian observed as he walked down the stairs. “You didn’t even hear me come in, did you?”
“Yes I did,” Dean lied. “I just chose to ignore you.”
Christian stepped off the stair landing and made his way over towards his Childe, “You wouldn’t lie to me now would you?”
Dean flashed a fake smile at the other vampire. “Never, because I just love you too much to do that.”
Christian sighed in exasperation at Dean’s sarcasm, “Could we not fight tonight? I grow weary of you and your impertinent attitude.”
Dean watched wearily as the other vampire sat down on the couch. “I told you that you would regret it.”
Christian’s piercing blue eyes flashed towards Dean, “Regret what?”
“Making me a vamp,” Dean smirked. “I told you I’d be a pain in the ass, and I was right, wasn’t I?”
“You were a pain in the ass before I graced you with my gift,” Christian hatefully replied. “What I most regret is making a fool out of myself for all these months chasing you across the country; nearly killing Sicily because of you, getting Dmitry involved…”
“You want some cheese with that whine?” Dean interrupted. “You think your life’s been shit because of me? What about what you’ve done to me? Stalked me, terrorized me, raped me…fucked with my head, and don’t even get me started on what you’ve done to Sam!”
Christian whipped out his hand and slapped his insolent Childe on the face. “Shut your fucking mouth! I told you to forget about Sam!”
Dean ignored the stinging in his cheek and slapped the other vampire back in retaliation, “You fucking predictable bastard! Is pain all you know? How can you sit there and wonder why I refuse to take my first kill when all you are doing is making me not want to be with you for eternity?”
“Because you don’t respond to me when I’m nice,” Christian replied filled with rage.
“Yes I do,” Dean argued. “I love you when you’re tender and treat me like a being that has freewill, but you can’t be like that for more than a day or two before you go off in the deep end and drag me down with you.” Dean turned his head and stared out the window watching as the white crest of the waves washed up upon the beach coming to a painful realization. “I don’t want to live like this Christian. I’m miserable…and if you really love me, you’d set me free.”
Christian could feel his own eyes watering as he listened to Dean’s somber plea, “I can’t reverse what I’ve done to you.”
Dean shuddered and felt his tears cascading down his face, “Then kill me…take away this pain, please.”
“I can’t do that Dean,” Christian replied sadly. “I love you too much.”
“How could you let someone you love suffer like this?” Dean softly asked. “You’re killing me emotionally…I feel like I’m dying on the inside.” Dean wiped at the tears on his face and turned his head once again towards Christian, “You’re slowly destroying the human you fell in love with. I feel myself slipping further and further into darkness everyday.”
Christian grabbed Dean into a tight hug and placed his hand on Dean’s head holding him close to his chest, “It will get better once you take your first victim, I promise. You’ve been denying what your immortal body craves for so long that it’s starting to affect your emotional state.”
Dean put his hands on Christian’s chest and pushed him away, “No, you’re the one affecting my emotional state, and you’re too much of a fucking coward to take care of your own mistakes.”
“You’re not a mistake Dean,” Christian argued. “You’re just confused.”
“No I’m not,” Dean hotly replied. “I know I don’t want to kill humans, I know I don’t want to be a vampire, and I know I don’t want you; not when you’re this hateful and abusive.”
“I’ll do better Dean,” Christian pleaded reaching out for Dean’s hand. “I’ll take care of you.”
Dean looked at his Sire knowing that once again he had lost the argument, “In your own special way, right?”
Christian flicked his nail across his own neck, smelt the rich coppery smell of his own blood flowing, and pulled Dean in towards the life-giving fluid, “Drink Love…you’ll feel better.”
Too emotionally drained to refuse, Dean allowed himself to be lulled into the safety of his Sire’s neck and sucked eagerly on the coppery fluid.
Christian ran his hands up and down Dean’s back attempting to soothe his distraught Childe, “That’s a good boy…take from me Dean.” Christian wanted to touch Dean, to connect with him on a physical level, but he knew that what his fledgling needed most was emotional support; so he refrained from molesting Dean’s body.
As Dean fed from his master, somewhat surprised that he wasn’t being mauled by the older vampire, he thought back to his conversation with Sam and his father. He wondered if they could save him before it was too late. He knew that he was either going to take his first kill and live miserably for the rest of his existence, or he was going to find away to destroy himself…something he wasn’t sure he was capable of; but anything was better than the alternative.
