Chapter Fourty
CHAPTER FOURTY
Hi again. Hope I did not take to long. I am having some extra fun with the next few chapters just to let you know. Just in case you thought I had lost it or something. The song in this part is “Irresistible” by. Jessica Simpson. You need to picture your response and think of the music while doing so. It is not playing for them just us. Enjoy!

Jane woke up with the sun shining all around her, illuminating the greenery making it seem as though she were actually in a forest rather than a huge city.
Rolling over slightly in seek of John’s warmth, Jane immediately regretting it when her stomach began to do summersaults.
Jumping up with only a blanket to cover her, she bolted for the bathroom.
John having been speaking with Kathleen about the late night intruder heard Jane running and took off after her.
Nikki who was already up, and showered due to a restless night with little sleep, was just exiting the bathroom when Jane pushed her way past slamming the door behind her.
Nikki quickly realized what was happening, and managed to stop John from bursting in after her by blocking his way and saying,
“Whoa you don’t wanna go in there, trust me.”

“Something is wrong. I have to help her.”
John said while trying to decide whether or not he should physically move her, or not.
“No John she’s fine. It’s just morning sickness that’s all. All pregnant woman go through it.”
Nikki explained a little wary at seeing the determined look in John’s eye’s while wondering if the temperature had just gone up or if it were just her.

Forcing her thoughts back to the present, Nikki knew her sister would most likely prefer to avoid vomiting in front of anyone especially him.
Looking from Nikki to the door and back, John decided that since he did not hear Jane calling out that she was probably alright.
Especially when he heard the noises coming from behind the door.
Once Nikki was pretty sure he was not going to barge in on her sister, she attempted to go around John desperately wanting to be far away if and when he remembered the lesson’s he had informed her of last night, knowing that it would mean way more close encounters than she could handle write now.
John let her get a few feet away from him before appearing directly in front of her to say,
“We can start your lessons now.”

Nikki froze desperately trying to figure out a way out of the predicament while forcing herself to not look him in the eyes afraid she would become a babbling idiot the second she saw those amazing blue eyes that seemed to suck you in the second you saw them.

Thankfully before she could think up an escape Jane emerged from the bathroom redirecting his attention long enough to flee to her room.
Making sure to close the door behind her, Nikki said to herself
“What is wrong with me. He is my sisters boyfriend, that’s just sick. Oh but why does he have to be so damn good looking? I mean those eyes, that body, the total lack of caring whether he was intruding on your personal space or not, and what was that smell. I mean my god how did Jane stay away from him for so long? What am I saying? I have to get out of here now, before he remembers the lessons again.”

A half hour later, Jane was feeling good enough to take a shower. Worried something would start up between her and John if she took one in the atrium. She instead decided to borrow some cloths from Nikki and headed for the bathroom leaving a slightly disappointed John behind.
Meanwhile Nikki was finally ready to make a run for it down the stairs, with the front door in sight, when John once again appeared in front of her seemingly out of nowhere successfully cutting her off.
“John!”
Nikki screeched out shocked that he could sneak up on her so easily.

Knowing what she was up to, John looked at her with his gotcha grin.
Walking Wright up to her leaving less than three inches between them, John was barely aware at how her heart rate seemed to nearly double, and how her breathe barely choking it’s way out to say,
“We will start now while Jane is showering.”
“No. Uh, I um. Yeah I can’t. I’m, I’ve got ah, something.”
Nikki stammered out growing more frustrated by the second that her brain seemed to dissolve within the past few moments.
Tilting his head, John simply said
“Come.”

Successfully cutting Nikki off, John took her hand, and lead the way upstairs having already decided that the atrium would be the best place to begin.
About to attempt once more at talking her way out of it, Nikki found it nearly impossible to focus on much else the second they started up the stairs.
Trying desperately not to giggle like a little girl the second she noticed just how great of a rear end John had.
While admiring the great view, Nikki completely spaced out on her escape plans allowing him to lead the way.

Once they reached the atrium, John took her purse and set it down in the other room not wanting anything extra to get in the way.
Snapping herself out of the daze she seemed to have fallen head first into, Nikki said while attempting to get around John to the door.
“We should wait for Jane. I mean she cant possibly take much longer.”
John placed a hand on Nikki’s stomach as she attempted to sidestep him to get to the door, and leaned down enough to look her in the eye’s before asking
“What is wrong?”

Realizing he was talking to her Nikki quickly answered him the best she could with his hand still on her by saying
“Nothing’s wrong. I just figured you would want to wait for Jane that’s all.”
“Jane said to go ahead and get started while she showered.”
John explained.
Barely hearing what he said to her the only thing Nikki could focus on was praying that he bought it, while backing up as quick as possible, but she only managed to trip over her own feet, falling backwards.
John was able to move fast enough to sweep her off of her feet before she even came close to hitting the ground.
