Sounds like...
Author's Notes: For some really odd reason, I thought that I had completely uploaded this story. It'd seem that I haven't, though, so here's the next chapter. Sorry. Ack. Don't own these peeps.

~*~**************************************~*~
Harrison knew that what he and Josh did was definitely something that was going to follow the two of them around for quite some time.
Not only did he have to worry about that, but he also had the issue of telling Sam about him going with Brooke…and also the fact that he was going with Brooke. He liked that…but he also really, really liked that he had done with Josh.
Things, though confusing as they were, seemed a little less heavy in their loads for whatever reason. Harrison was just happy about that, and also happy that he had actually done something of a less than appropriate nature.
No one knows, Josh’s voice rang in his head. Just…no one.
Sure, it was a little hard not being able to tell Sam, Carmen or Lily. But Josh was probably hitting it a lot harder, considering the group he hung around with. As sad as it was to say, people wouldn’t have been so surprised most likely if Harrison had admitted to doing something like that, and he would just be treated like before, with the exception of few…but Josh’s friends were certainly nowhere near as kind about things like that. Especially Nicole.
That really sucked.
Classes had just ended for the day, and Harrison was standing outside his locker. Ever since having done what he had done with Josh, he had been avoiding the weight room. Not because he didn’t want to see Josh, but because there were some rather vivid memories there, and the last thing he needed was to take a shower after working out and noticing a raging hard-on going on down below.
As it was Friday, he figured he was all right in going there. People were terribly eager to get home as fast as they could on Fridays, though for Harrison it was quite the opposite. He didn’t hate going home, but he did want to work out still. As odd as it sounded to him (coming from a guy whose last PE course involved yoga and other alternative methods of working out), he felt better after working out, even if he was a little tired.
The weight room would be open after school today as well, though for only as long as practices ran, as it shared space with the boy’s locker room. The doors, therefore, would be unlocked as usual.
Harrison figured he had the entire space to himself, and when he arrived inside there, he was quite right. There wasn’t anyone around, and he was free to work on what he wished. Of course, this meant no bench work nor incline bench work, as he had no spotter, but he wasn’t looking for those today. He had other things he could do to work those same muscle areas.
Because of the fact that he was alone, Harrison had decided to bring a CD player. He had just bought himself the new Flaming Lips CD, and he was listening to “Waitin’ for Superman” as he worked one the incline bench with a pair of dumbbells.
“Is it overwhelming to use a crane to crush a fly? It's a good time for Superman to lift the sun into the sky…” he sang idly, lifting the pair of dumbbells up above his head, not hearing the slight clank they made as they hit each other in midair.
After finishing his set Harrison began dancing to the instrumental interlude, wandering over to the dumbbell tree and placing the fifteen-pound dumbbells on their appropriate spot. He did a quick sliding turn on his feet as he returned to standing, coming face to face with Josh while he pointed at nothing in particular.
That, however, changed immediately upon the sight of the other boy, who was dressed up in his football gear, looking a little sweaty.
Harrison was absolutely mortified. He hastily removed the headphones, looking at Josh and proceeding to stutter out a really lame excuse. “I—I was just…working out?”
Josh laughed. “Yeah, I can see that.” He pointed toward Harrison’s shirt, which has just a bit of perspiration beneath his armpits.
Lifting his arms the brunette looked beneath each one, then laughed a little bit himself. After he turned off his CD player he glanced at the clock, noticing that the time was in fact correct. Josh was a little early.
“What are you doing here? Don’t you have practice?”
“Yeah, but coach let me go because I had too much on my mind. Practice is still going on.”
Harrison watched as Josh took a seat on the bench that rested right by the divider that separated the locker room and the weight room. As he rested his back against it, the former boy took a few steps towards him. He had to admit, he wanted to know, and he was probably going to be crushed if it was anything else. Why, he didn’t know. It was just…an experiment, what they did.
Yeah, it was. Surely. Absolutely.
…Maybe.
“What was on your mind?” Harrison asked as he leaned against the divider. He let his arm rest on top of it.
“Lots of things,” Josh said, looking up at Harrison, then briefly around the room. “The game we have coming up, the dance, Brooke…”
Come on, Harrison thought, eyes focused more upon Josh than he noticed. Please.
“…And what we did,” Josh added after a momentary pause, the words coming out with his breath and with an amused tone to them. He also looked a little shy about it.
Harrison would have let out a sigh of relief had it not seemed somewhat strange.
“I’ve been thinking about it, too,” he confessed, glancing around idly.
Neither of them said anything for a few moments, which made for a silence. Conversely, it wasn’t an awkward silence; simply a silence that left the two of them sort of staring at one another and their surroundings.
“It was good,” Josh finally said, another amused breath escaping him.
Hearing that made Harrison blush furiously. He wasn’t expecting something like that. “R-Really?”
Josh grinned. “Yeah. Enough to distract me.”
“It couldn’t have been that good…” Harrison said, shaking his head.
“Well, it was good enough to get me to thinking about…what else there is that we could do,” the blonde said. “I mean, because wow. It was…good.” Josh was rubbing the back of his neck with his hand, and he sniffed once.
“Nothing says we can’t do it again.” That had come out before Harrison had managed to stop it, but it seemed that Josh didn’t quite care.
In fact he looked curious. “Really?”
“…Sure, why not?” Harrison mused. “It was pretty good for the both of us, wasn’t it?”
“I liked it,” Josh said. “But I don’t want to do just…that again.”
“Well what do you want to do, then?” Harrison looked down at Josh. He quirked a brow.
“I’d like to just see what happens.”
That was a very wide, open statement, and Harrison knew it could have been interpreted in many ways. As he looked at Josh, many thoughts passed through his head. Several of them were less than decent, and he had to shift just a bit to try and keep himself from getting too excited.
Male hormones were certainly overwhelming things.
Clearing his throat, Harrison stepped back just a bit when Josh stood.
“Why don’t we meet later on today?”
“What?”
“You know, hang out? I mean, you’re not a bad guy, Harrison. The golf thing? Totally cool. And I know it wasn’t your fault that McPherson got ahold of that tape. And, you know…well, you certainly know how to delight a guy.” He said that last bit while looking around once again, as if he were still slightly shy about what had happened.
Harrison smiled some. It had been a while since he had had a truly natural good smile. “Really? Sure, why not?”
“Cool. Soon I have to get ready for wrestling, though. Practice for that runs until about five. We can meet somewhere after then?” Josh had a very impish look in his eyes.
“Sure,” Harrison said. He folded his arms over his chest and pushed off of the divider. “Um. Well, how about the CD store? I don’t…drive.”
“I do,” Josh said. “I can pick you up, if you need me to.”
“Do you mind?”
“Not at all.”
“Sounds like a plan.”
Josh smirked. “Sounds like a date.”
