Conquest

Lois looked across the planet at Clark typing endlessly on his keyboard . She wonder why in the hell Lex ,and him had suddenly became chummy with each other.

If her memory served' her right just a few weeks before Clark told her in his Clark Kent fashion there was no way in hell he’d work for Lex Luthor ,and now he is working for the man.


Lois thought to herself something was not right.

It did not take a rocket scientist to figure that out .

Clark did not even make eye contact with her as she swayed over to his desk

To her surprise he didn’t even look at her long sexy legs when she sat on the corner of his desk.


In the sweetest voice she could muster up she asked .

“ Kent I’m going to O’ maleys tonight care to join me?"

“ I will buy you a cold one”.

After a few moments of trying to get his attention she finally blurted out,after doing every devilish thing in the book like rubbing her hands up her smooth legs,and unbuttoning the first two buttons of her blouse showing just enought cleavage.Surely this would snap him back into the real world unless he'd been abducted by aliens, brought back dazed,and confused.

"Kent!"

Still there was no response.

“ Earth to Kent, come in Kent”. Clark finally looked at her.

“ Oh Lois I’m sorry.”

“Thanks for the invite ,but I’m going to have to decline”. “Lex ,and I already have plans for tonight”. Plans she thought, plans that seemed very questionable.

A moment later, before she had a chance to comment on what Clark said Lex tap her on the shoulder.

“Lane the Planet is not a place for a social gathering."

“You’re wasting time,and money.

" I can’t afford to waste either”. His voice was as cold as ice in the artic.

"Get back to your desk,or you'll be finding work elsewhere."

“ Is that clear Lane ?”


She saluted him like a five star general.

“ Yes sir.",she swayed back to her seat, hoping Clark was watching her firm ass.

When she got back to her desk she notice he was staring up at Lex.

His eyes glazed over like a love sick puppy , which made her stomach turn.

God what in the hell is wrong with Kent?

I need to buy Lex a lease to put around Clark’s neck, she thought to herself afterwards continuing to write on the article she was finishing up.

“Clark I need to see you in my office”. “ There is something I need to discuss with you.

I’ll be done with this article in a few minutes Lex”.

“I’ll be in your office after I get it edited”.

“ Okay Clark”.

Lex walked back to his office .

A few minutes later Lois watched Clark open the door to Lex's office ,and walk in like he owed the place even she had to make her presence know before walking into the office of Lex Luthor .

The more she thought about it.

The more fishy Clark’s relationship with Lex was starting to smell.

Lex got up from his desk.

“ What do you need to talk to me about Lex”?

Clark had a seat on the black leather couch ,and Lex sat down next to him it was hard for him to concentrate on what he was going to discuss with Clark ,because his alien smelled so damn good .

“Clark I’ve seen how Lois is always talking to you”.

“I want you to stay clear of Lane”.

“ I don’t want to fire her”.

“ She is one of my top reporters”.

“I just don’t like her meddling in our business”.

“ Okay Lex I’ll stay clear of her”.

“ You don’t have nothing to worry about”. Clark assured him.

“ I know I want have nothing to worry about because I’m moving you up a step”.

Clark gulped , Really I'm being promoted?"

"I’ve worked here less than Lois has”?

“ Yes ,Clark really you have a reporter’s eye for detail, and a knack for getting to the heart of a story”.

"Lois, even though she trys is still rough around the edges".

Clark felt what Lex was giving him was a line of bullShit.

Lois lane was a top notch reporter in his eyes".

Than Lex looked him straight in the eyes ,and said.

“So you will take my offer, and there will be increase in your paid”.

Clark looked at him like a Stepford wife,held out his hand out to seal the deal.

“ I will make this worth your while when we get home tonight Clark”.

Lex gave him a devilish grin and patted Clark’s shoulder.

“ You will be promoted first thing in the morning”. “ I’ll make it known to everyone”.
