Strangely Comforting
To Rory it felt like the man kept his hand over her moth for what seemed like hours. But, in reality it was just a few minutes as he held her close to him and pushed her down the hallway into the living room. Due to her confusion and shock, Rory didn’t notice that strangely, he knew where the living room was. The first thing he did when they got to the living room was he managed to tie Rory’s hands behind her back and slip a blind fold over her eyes. Once the blindfold was slipped over her eyes, the shock started to settle in, and Rory began to panic. Tears started to stream down her face and she began to tremble.
Rory: Please don’t hurt me.
To her surprise the man gently stroked her cheek. He was so tender, she felt a warm feeling go through her. But, right away she knew she shouldn’t be thinking of him as someone gentle since, he broke into her house and was probably going to do unspeakable things to her.
Rory: Please I’ll give you anything, take whatever you want just leave me alone.
She said sobbing and gasping.
Man: Shh shh
He cooed her as he rubbed her back and stroked her cheek.
There was something so familiar about his touch the way he was comforting her. He pulled her by her elbow and guided her to the couch and sat her down upon it. Once she was seated he laid his hand upon her knee. The moment he touched her she flinched.
Rory: Stop it please don’t touch me.
Man: Shhhh shhh
He cooed her again as he rubbed her knee gently and stroked her hair. His touch, there was something about it. She couldn’t put her finger on it but for some reason it comforted her so much. After a couple of minutes he stopped touching her, moved away from her and stood in front of the couch facing her.
Rory: Please don’t hurt me.
