CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Pleased he was going along with her idea Jane started to move
backwardsardsards the
end of the
beam to get some space so she could get accustomed to the new
feeling before they
began.
After a few moments of moving around on the beam, Jane was
ready to begin.
“O.k. now just to get started, you come at me slowly in
different methods of attack. Just make
sure you don’t try anything to major immediately, I want to
get a handle of how I
need to be
moving on this thing first.”
Slightly crouching John watched how Jane was carrying
herself to decide how to
start so she
would be able to respond easily.
Just to test her he went at her low.
Successfully shifting in time to block his approach, and
countering without losing
her balance,
and smiling with satisfaction
“O.k. this isn’t so bad.”
Satisfied that she could handle herself, Jane made a swing at
John who successfully
dodged the
attack countering back.
Doing several different methods pleased that she could keep up
with him pretty well
for a little
over an hour.
Feeling so exhilarated from the chance to spar with John
finally even if he was taking
it easy on
her, Jane was quickly becoming exhausted, and very warm.
“CRACK!!!”
A trail of loud thunder suddenly erupting caused both of them
to jump in surprise.
John having sensed the storm a while ago was more startled by
Jane’s reaction, and
the sudd
l
lack of light, more so than the sound.
Due to the sudden power outage, and the thunder followed with
the strobe light
effects of the
lightning Jane lost her balance letting out a little scream of
surprise, as she started
falling.
Waiting for the shock of the floor to rush up and connect with
her, Jane was
surprised to feel
John firmly wrap his arms around her body in a protective
ball landing in a roll
taking the worst
of the of it, he was able to masterfully roll the two of them
several times keeping either
from being
injured.
Cupping her face in his hands worried she had been injured J
John asked
“Jane are you alright? Where you hurt?”
“No, I’m fine. Thank god your so quick on your feet, or
should I say back.”
Answered Jane relived they were o.k. and trying to calm down
from the shock.
Thankful she was not harmed, John leaned down for a very
exhilaratingly passionate kiss,
delving into her mouth at the first moan that escaped from her
mouth.
Reaching up to wrap her arms around his neck not wanting
him to stop any time soon,
gave him all
the urging needed to reach down grabbing her legs to get her to wrap them around his
waist.
