CHAPTER twelve
“Kathleen hi. No I’m fine. Yes he’s here. Yes I’ll tell him. You
to . You have a
nice day to.
Goodbye?”
Looking back at John, she said
“That was your aunt.”
Suddenly very awake with worry, John quickly got up out of
bed putting his pants
on asking
“Is she o.k.?”
Walking to him, and placing her hands on his chest in a way
to calm him enough to
say“She“She’s fine. She was just worried your uncle had been up to no
good again because
you had not
checked in for so long that‘s all.”
Checking her face to see any signs of worry, he relaxed
slightly, but still unsettled.
Noticing John was still upset she suggested
“Why don’t you go see her while I check in with Sam to make
sure things have not
fallen apart at
work without me. That way I can also ask him for a little
favor?” rinkrinkling his forehead attempting to figure out what kind of
favor she would be
needing that he
could not do, John stated
“I can do it.”
“No not this one, but don’t worry I came up with an idea for
our next lesson, and I
just need to
have him borrow something from the precinct gym for our next
lesson.”
Seeing his worry lines still present she leaned in touching his
face, and kissing him on
the
forehead saying.
“Trust me. Besides that will give me a chance to take a shower,
and clean this place
up a bit.”
While gesturing with her arm around the apartment.
“I will be quick.”
Stated John.
Half mumbling sporting an enormous smile remembering
their recent activities Jane
said more to
herself than John without really thinking about it,
“Not if the past few days is an indication you won‘t be.”
Seeing him tip his head about to ask her something, Jane
realized she had said that
out loud, and
rapidly became one giant blush.
Chuckling at herself, she quickly tried to cover by saying
“Never mind. Now go so I can get everything taken care of by
the time you get back
here, o.k.?”
Avoiding all eye contact.
Giving in with a big smile, John reached over cupping her chin
to make her face him,
then
passionately kissed her before saying.
“I will be back soon.”
Before quickly exiting through the window.
Later that afternoon
Talking to herself
“I can’t believe he got this stuff hear so quickly.”
Sneaking up behind her, John wrapped his arms around Jane
pulling her flush
against his body
sucking on her earlobe.
“Miss me?”
Letting out a small squeak at the sudden embrace, Jane
quickly recovered at the
sound of his lust
filled voice in her ear, and thinking to herself
“Where did he learn to do that so well, that I just melt every
time?”
