Ever since Emily, Kristina and their brother James were kidnapped from their home by the demon Vicus; their life has never been the same. James, Emily and Kristina were forced to live in the basement of a house so to not cause suspicions. For several years they went through ruthless training, day in and day out. Vicus wanted to know what kind of magical children he had required. By the time puberty hit James was showing signs of being a Firestarter, which worked well for them because when hit his 18th birthday he threw a fire ball at Vicus and saved Emily from being raped by him, who was only 15 at the time.

Once Vicus was vanquished they proceeded to go back to their family home which was surprisingly still intact, but their parents were dead, buried out under their parent's favorite tree that was out in the woods of the property. From there James contacted the police, who contacted the FBI and James told a very convincing story about being kidnapped and that their kidnapper was killed by his so called friend but that they didn't know the man's names and how long we were there.

The local FBI and state police bought their story and had James as their guardian now because he was the oldest, at 18, Emily was 16, and Kristina was 12. From there on, James had them going to Sandra Day O'Connor High School where Emily met her first friend, Dean Winchester, who let it slip that he was in the Supernatural business with his father and younger brother Sam. When Emily told her brother James this he called their father John Winchester to set up a meeting at the O'Brian Manor, so that James could be honest with him. James set it up for after school and proceeded to tell them; John, Dean and Sam about how they were kidnapped at an early age because they were witches.

That's when John decided to come clean and tell them about the Supernatural Hunter lifestyle, about how he got into the business, and how his wife, Mary, died. He explained that he was going on Hunting trips nearly every week and how he didn't want his children to live in a motel, alone while he was away. James being the understanding and protective brother that he was offered the family a place to stay and John reluctantly agreed.

It was good for both the Winchester family and the O'Brian family in the end. Emily and Dean were high school sweethearts by their senior year of high school and Kristina and Sam were inseparable. That was until Sam got a scholarship to Stanford University and had a blow out with his father about going. In the end Sam left and eventually so did John and Dean. It left both Emily and Kristina heartbroken but in the end they moved on in life. At age 19 Emily met Matthew Tomas right after moving to Brian, Texas and dated for two years before finally marrying him. He was a Demon and was supposedly fighting for the light side. Emily went to Texas A&M only to graduate at the top of her class in just two years, and eventually become the Texas State Prosecutor, and Kristina who had a talent for spotting talent in the music industry became Record Dealer.

Emily became pregnant after graduating college and had twin girls on September 5th 2000, on her 21st birthday.
