Description: Imminently following Diana’s breakup with Adam in ‘Wake’. What happens when she finds herself at Cassie’s house.

“I broke up with Adam. ” She wondered why she was even here as she walked through the door, barely registering what Cassie had even said. She was mad, upset and felt herself start to break down. “What happened?” Cassie said most likely already knowing the answer. “You. ” Cassie looked at her, knowing nothing she could possibly say could help. “Diana, just tell me what to do I never meant for any of this to happen. ” “I honestly don’t know. I don’t even know why I’m here. I guess it was because he was my best friend and I have no where else to go. No one else who really knows me. ” Cassie trying to comfort her friend hugged her. As Diana hugs her back she finally let the dam break tears falling freely from her face. Cassie then takes her by the hand and leads her upstairs so they can talk without waking her grandma. As they get to her room Diana is still sobbing quietly trying her best to regain her composure. “Here sit down. ” Cassie said leading her to her bed. “His dad, he keep going on and on about how you two were destined to be together, and written in the stars. And I see the way he looks at you. I just couldn’t watch losing him anymore. ” Diana just felt so defeated. She knew deep down Cassie really didn’t do anything wrong but she couldn’t help how she felt. Cassie was a bit taken back with all this. She wanted to learn more about her mothers past, there was still so much she didn’t know. But one things for sure she had always felt that people chose their own destiny’s. She sat down next to Diana holding her again as she sobbed on her shoulder.
For the first time in her life Cassie felt closer to her than anybody. It was almost like a sudden spark. “Listen Diana I don’t know what the future holds for any of us. But I do know this, we choose our own destiny’s. What ever happens down the road it’s for us to decide. ” Cassie knew deep down what she wanted was wrong. But at this point she felt it was out of her hands. She used her finger to wipe the tears from Diana’s eyes. Slowly she leaned in and placed a light kiss on her friend’s mouth. Diana barely felt the butterfly kiss that was placed on her lips. “Wha. ” Before Diana could ask Cassie placed another small kiss on her lips. Diana didn’t know what to say or do. The girl she blames for her problems with Adam just kissed her, twice. But it was one of the most magical things she had ever felt. It was so soft and warm. It had left her curious what would a more deepen kiss could feel like. So she returned the favor and leaned into Cassie as their lips touched for a third time. This time however it wasn’t a short peck on the lips that two friends would share. Cassie didn’t know what to expect when she had briefly kissed her friend but this sure wasn’t it. She felt her friends lips crash with hers and started to feel her temperature rise. Cassie then decided to try and push the kiss further as she brushed her tongue against Diana’s lips. Hesitant at first, Diana pushed her conscious out of the way and allowed Cassie tongue to enter her mouth. As both girls tried there best to stay in control and keep there composure eventually hormones took over as Cassie lowered Diana’s open sweater off of her shoulders. As she laid back down on the bed Cassie removed what was left of her dress and nestled against Diana. Both girls laid there as they dozed off together.
Author’s Note: This was the first story I’ve written in probably 3-4 years. So please review and leave whatever criticism comes to mind. Originally this was going to be a one shot story but after watching the events of the most recent episode of The Secret Circle I’ve decided to write another chapter. And will keep adding chapters as I see it fitting to go along with the two characters in the show.
