alpha had learnt the key to echo's affection. Paul's imprint had allowed him insight into the man that echo loved and he saw now what it was she loved him for. To Paul, echo was not all the imprints that she was to him. she was not a goddess as he had tried to create her, but her own being. was he his own being? he could tell you each one of his imprinted personalities but which one was he? was he Carl? was he the person he despised more than anyone. the man who sought to destroy all beauty as he saw it? he desperately hoped not. She had a sense of self. how and where did she get that. He replayed Paul's memories in his head but he had no answers here. he had to go back to her. to find out why and how. he wanted that too. that sense of self that would make him whole and make him someone she could love. Paul screamed through him. He saw now that he had to change. to be the person (or in his case persons) that she wanted. He no longer wanted Omega....he wanted Echo
