“Sam... Sammy. Would you get your head outta those goddamn clouds for one sec and actually listen to what i'm tryin’ to say?” Sam snapped back to reality as dean shook him a little roughly, an uncharacteristic level of emotion showing through in his hushed tones. “Sorry. i was just-” “You was just thinkin’. I know.” Dean snapped a little, forcing his brother to look at him fully as he ran his hands through his hair in exasperation. “Well maybe you should stop Sammy. Just... Stop thinkin’ for once... And try feeling.” Sam melted into Dean’s embrace as he was gently guided onto the soft bed covers. The best room they’d had in a good few weeks. He felt stupid for not twigging it all then... The extra money spent.. The ‘brother time’... Dean was trying to tell him him in his own ‘special’ way that- “Goddamnit Sammy... I'm tryin’ to say i love you here, and all your doing is ponderin’ again...” Sam’s retort was cut short by a pair of rough chapped lips pressing against his. Dean’s ‘special way’ of saying shut up.
