I do not own the characters or the show True Blood. I do not gain any money from writing this story either. The characters outside of those from the show are of my own imagination and based on a friend of mine. I have her full permission to use it.
Wanna Bite?
(I watched the first two seasons of this show with a friend of mine and so I'm only up to that point. If there are things I don't know I'm sorry and promise to watch the rest as soon as I can. Review if you like it, flame if you don't I just need something to keep this one going. Though I'm also going to be writing this with a few changes to it as well.)
Deep in the town of Shiverport, Louisiana adults flocked forward to get a glimpse of the local vampires. They didn't care for the danger, when in fact that added to the thrill of seeing such beings they had long seen in movies or heard of in books. Amongst those was a desperate young woman in search of a new start on life.
Juliana Jameson, or J.J. as she was called by friends, had just been kicked out of her house that she had grown up with by her mother. During her sophomore year of collage and now she was homeless, penniless, and only had the clothes on her back and her purse to her name. Coming here was her last desperate step after having gone to those she had thought of as her friends turning her away for the night, and the hotels hadn't taken her seriously. Looking at the club her mother had banned her from even glancing at from the window of the car when driving past it to get to Church. Standing there in line she saw the sign in their window: Human Help Wanted.
After hours of waiting in line with all the fang bangers who were only interested in bedding a vampire or being bitten by one she finally got to the woman at the front who was checking IDs. Handing over her driver's license to the woman she was shocked to hear her say, " You don't look like most who come in here. What are you looking for?" At this J.J. bit her lip before speaking, " A job. I really need it."
Pam looked to the human with disinterest before shaking her head as she spoke, " You can go on in and go to the bar. Ask for Chow he has all the applications and will give you a small interview to see if you are what we're looking for." Turning slightly she moved the rope and allowed Juliana to go on inside the club with a slight smirk on her face. She would see just how long it took before the little girl ran out of there and back to her home. She was sick and tired of the fang bangers who came around, but she had to admit every once in awhile it was nice to take willing blood instead of drinking that TruBlood shit that was served at the bar.
Juliana looked around at the club with a small smile on her lips. Yeah everyone there besides herself was in leather and other things, and acting the part. However she had to admit that it didn't look the way her mother had described it. Going over to the bar she asked for Chow and sat there at the stool waiting until an Asian man came to her. Asking for the application she filled it out leaving the address blank before handing it back to him. When he gave her a weird look she spoke, " My mother kicked me out of the house I have no address for the moment." Seeing the male nod she then began to wait for the questions.
He looked to the Human before speaking, " How old are you?"
"21"
"Why were you kicked out?"
" I'm for Vampire's Rights and my mom hates them."
"Would you be willing to donate blood to a vampire in need?"
"Sure as long as I knew they wouldn't hurt me."
"Why are you really here?"
" I need a job and I heard from a friend of a friend that this place was hiring. Besides if need to I can clean, cook, serve drinks, and anything else needed."
Nodding his head lightly he then spoke, " You are a good match to help Ginger around here. However it is up to Eric to see if you get the job." When he saw the confused look on her face he was baffled that she didn't know about Northman. Shaking his head he then pointed to the throne towards the back wall where the owner of the bar was at before speaking, " That is Eric Northman the owner of the bar and the Sheriff of Area 5 he keeps the law for our kind."
Juliana turned and followed Chow's finger until she saw the vampire on the black throne. Taking in his looks she gasped softly at the beauty that she saw. Pale hair that was almost snowy white, emerald green eyes that looked like a cat's in this darker lighting, and pale skin that made him seem to glow. Her breath caught before she nodded to Chow who only smirked before handing her a piece of paper to give to the male so that she wouldn't be pushed away without having been seen.
Nodding her head towards Chow she gave him a grateful smile before going forward. Listening to what the others said before they approached she waited until the current banger moved out of the way. Moving forward she then spoke, "My lord may I approach your side and give you this paper?" Once he nodded his head to her request she stepped forward and held the paper out to him before she knelt down when she saw the others looking at her in shock. She then began to wait as he read the paper until she heard, " Well Juliana it seems as you are our new day guard. You screw up one time and I will drain you dry and leave your body for the scavengers to pick at." Her only option being to nod her head she then waited until he turned away before she stood up and backed away heading to Chow.
As she was walking away she didn't notice the interested look of a certain blond who kept his gaze on her the whole time. She certainly didn't hear him say, " This is going to be interesting little girl. Very interesting."
