Thicker Than Water

It was a bloody day when Dean tried to leave Sam.
He just couldn't fathom staying another minute. The secrets were too much for him to bear any longer. Stubborn fists threw heavy punches, with no trace of mercy to be found. Sam objected highly to this decision.
It was a bloody argument that followed, when Sam tried to convince Dean to stay.
If only to hear him out. Against his better judgement, ears were attuned to every word, each begging for forgiveness. Sam was desperate, there was no use hiding it.
It was a bloody conclusion that Sam settled the argument with, fists possibly harder than the first.
Their foundation was now backed solidly on rage. Each mark was branded forcibly on Dean's body, turning black and blue before Sam's eyes. But the ones that lasted were the ones he couldn't see.
It was a bloody night, as Dean wept below Sam, number than he'd felt in years.
His body was torn with his heart. Fierce threats were whispered his way, falling on deaf ears. Sam wanted to make sure Dean never thought about leaving again. Dean promised him, after all of this, he wouldn't dream of it.
It was a bloody relationship, that Sam and Dean had.
Unforgiving. Smothering. Forged in fear and betrayal and pleading hushes to one another. Promises, that were always, always broken.
It came to a bloody end, the day Dean pulled the trigger.
Intending that this promise be the one that would last, Sam followed suit.
