Sisters, Angels and Hitters
Title: Sisters, Angels, and Hitters.
Author: Me.
Fandom: Leverage/Dark Angel.
Pairing: Eliot/Angel, Max/Alec, Sam/Hardison, Ben/Parker, Nate/Sophie.
...........................
NOTES: Sam will be brought in during season 1, BEFORE Ben. Sam and Alec will have met before, as kids. Starts just after the series premier for Leverage, the picks up BEFORE El Pollo Loco for Dark Angel. Angel and Eliot met when Angel was fifteen, ending up in bed together. Eliot DIDN'T know how old she really was, so no bitching about it. The team ends up finding out what Angel is when contracted, by Logan, for a con on Manticore. Angel tries to get out of it, saying 'Manticore takes one look at the back of my neck and they'll put a bullet in my head'. She doesn't know it, but she ends up saying it in front of Max and Logan. She rubs at the back of her neck while getting looks from the team, excluding Eliot, and Nate is the one to ask her why. She turns her back to him and lifts her hair, showing him the barcode. Then turns around and outright tells him that she's an X5. They don't seem to get it, but, since Logan explained to them what happened in '09, she outs herself as one of the escapees. Logan's like 'I knew it', while Max is stunned stupid. The team leaves after the con, then don't come back until the series finale of Dark Angel. Angel, Sam, and Ben end up mounting a rescue mission.
Changed my mind out about that, they come back early season two. Early on, Angel's already found out, by remembering Eliot's scent, comparing it with that of Max and Sam, that he's their brother from their sperm donor. In the beginning of the fic, Angel was with Eliot when he was contacted about the next con. The reason she was with him was cause their son, conceived when she slept with him five years previous, needed a blood transfusion. She would have done it herself, but she was afraid of being found out for what she was. She ends up telling Eliot WHAT she is.
.....................................
Chapter One:
Eliot groaned, running hand through his hair. He padded across the living room, shirtless and shoeless. When he opened the door, he almost gasped. Fuck almost, he DID gasp.
"I need help..."
A girl he hadn't seen for 5 years and she was standing right there? Holding a very sick looking five year old boy? He stepped back, letting her in. She had an, obvious full, military pack on her back, as well as, what looked like, a child's backpack. The girl held the boy, waiting for Eliot, who set up pillows to settle him into the middle of.
"Angel..."
"He's dying, Eliot."
"What does he need?"
Angel bit her lip, worrying on it before Eliot pulled it from between her teeth.
"Blood."
"Who's?"
"His father's."
Eliot was confused.
"And you came to me?"
"I didn't just come to you, Eliot..." Angel seemed almost afraid to say it, "I am asking his father for help."
Angel hoped that he would catch on to what she was saying. That their night 5 years ago created this little boy, who was 3 months away from turning five. Eliot's eyes widened as he absorbed what she said. The little boy needed his father's blood, that she didn't just come to Eliot, but the boy's father.
"That night brought more than a lot of sex, didn't it?" Eliot croaked.
He took a real good look at the boy.
"Yeah..." She sighed, "it did," she looked at the sleeping boy, "it gave me Owen."
Then Eliot had a thought.
"Shouldn't he be in the hospital?"
Angel shook her head frantically.
"If he was, they'd find out what I am, what he is."
That made Eliot stop.
"Angel..."
The young woman started shaking, not like she had that one night, but more out of fear.
"Angel, darlin', you can trust me..."
"I'm a freak, Eliot..."
"Angel," He started firmly.
"I'm a transgenic."
Chapter Two:
"Angel..." Eliot spoke softly.
Why did she think he'd hate her for that? He'd served with Transgenics before. Eliot pulled a shaking Angel into his arms, holding her close. Angel turned her head to the couch when Owen stirred.
"Momma..." He croaked, "are we there yet?"
She slid off Eliot's lap and leaned over Owen, stroking feather soft brown locks out of striking blue eyes.
"Yeah, baby," She kissed his forehead, "we found Daddy."
Owen's head lulled to the side and he looked Eliot in the eye, then smiled as best he could.
"He looks just like me, Momma..." Owen coughed.
Eliot took Owen's hand, which had slipped off the couch. He held his son's tiny, pale hand in his, just marveling at the boy. Angel couldn't help but smile when Eliot took up the little boy's hand. Then he remembered what she said about Owen needing blood.
"How is he supposed to get blood if..."
She opened Owen's pack and pulled out what LOOKED like a first aid kit. She opened it and Eliot saw transfusion tubing. Two of them.
"His immunity is down..." Angel explained, "his super healing won't kick in. He needs your blood, but a dose of mine will kick up his healing."
Eliot gave Owen what he could, before feeling like passing out. Then Angel hooked herself up, with the other tubing, tossing the one that Eliot used into the fire. She told him that they didn't need for it to be found, that it would be VERY bad if it had. That afternoon, Eliot woke to find Owen sitting on his chest, bright eyed and bushy tailed.
"Momma always said I looked like you," Owen said quietly, dragging Eliot into the kitchen, a picture in hand.
The picture was of a four year old Eliot. And damn if Angel wasn't right. Eliot scooped Owen up and set him in the tall chair at the kitchen nook. Owen smiled to himself when his daddy picked him up.
"When Momma would miss you, she'd cry a lot," Then Owen frowned, "then Zack would call her a wussy and tell to suck it up and act a soldier," then he looked up at Eliot, "I don't like Zack, daddy, he's mean."
Eliot looked surprised when Owen called him daddy, but he shook it off. Running a hand over Owen's feather soft hair, he sighed.
"Next time he's mean to your mommy," Eliot told him, "I'll hit him for ya."
Owen laughed and clapped happily. But the little boy jumped when Eliot's phone rang. Eliot chuckled and ruffled Owen's hair.
"Yeah," Eliot answered.
Owen turned to see Angel coming up behind Eliot, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind.
"We got a client," Nathan said plainly.
Eliot put a finger to his lips, Owen nodded and zipped his lips. Eliot put it on speaker.
"What's this one, Nate?"
"A kid named Ben is looking for him brothers and sisters."
Angel whispered something in Eliot's ear and he nodded.
"Does he have a barcode on the back of his neck?" Eliot asked.
Not that Eliot could see it, but Nathan's brows furrowed.
"How'd you know that?"
Eliot chuckled, "I served with a couple of the kids like him," he confessed. Angel glared and poked him, "and I'm sleeping with one of his sisters."
Sophie, Parker, and Hardison heard an indignant female squawk all the way in the hall. The trio poked their heads in the door, to find Nate on the speaker phone with Eliot, and Nate was looking VERY confused.
"You haven't slept with me in five YEARS, Eliot," they heard, hearing a kid giggling, "see, living proof."
"Living proof?" Nate finally spoke.
Angel's eyes went wide, then Eliot spoke, "You'll see when I come in."
