SOUL REVENGE OF DRAKE

"Jeff!" Bogg gasped.

Fourteen year-old Jeffrey Jones grinned. He was sitting at the table eating a dish of stew that Susanne had made when he and Bogg had come to have some R&R. He felt they deserved the time of rest and rarely got a chance to tease the old pirate.

"Yeah, yeah. Have your fun on my account, why don't ya?" Bogg sighed.

Jeffrey shrugged. "Sorry, Bogg. Couldn't resist it," he said after stuffing a forkful of the stew in his mouth.

"Don't talk with food in your mouth," Phineas Bogg moaned.

After doing the meal dishes, the two travelors settled on the love seat and couch.

Jeffrey spread his five foot frame on the couch and put his arms behind his head.
He looked up at the ceiling, marveled at the fact it reminded him of the blue sky.

"What ya thinkin, kid?" Bogg asked, his voice sounded distant.

"Oh, nothing," Jeffrey sighed, closing his eyes.

"Jeffrey," Bogg pressures.

Sighing, Jeffrey rolls to his side so could look at the man he'd grown to love.

"How is it that we were omni'd here instead of allowing us to go where we needed to go?"

"I guess the omni decided we needed a break,"

"So Voyager's DO take vacations?"

Bogg nods. "Only when the omni feels we need it,"

Jeff rolls back onto his back. "Oh, brother."

Soon Bogg hears the soft breathing of his partner and closes his own eyes as well.

Personally, he was glad for the time of relaxation with the kid. Bogg could tell Jeff was getting as tired as he was and the rest would do the both of them a world of good.

He didn't know how long he'd been asleep, but a soft knock awoken Bogg.

"Coming!" he said, his voice harsh.

Bogg forced himself up from the oversize chair and looks over at Jeff.

"with no surprise, the knock and his voice did not awaken Jeff.

That kid could sleep through a tornado, Bogg moans as he approaches the door.

He opens the door and smiles. "Ahhh, what a sight for sore eyes!"

The young woman grabbed him ina bear hug and gave a longing kiss.

"It's sooo good to see, Phineas!" the blond woman said, he blue eyes shining.

"Feeling's mutual," he said, allowing her in the apartment.

Olivia Dunn, class of '97, hugged her favorite pirate. She hadn't seen him ina few years and some how seemed old to her.

"Where's Morgan?" he asked, looking behind her.
"She's in the apartment, reading. She doesn't get to that during our travels,"
"Same with Jeffrey, but right now he's asleep."

"Oh, does that mean we have time for ourselves?" she says, soemthing in her voice thrilled him.

For a few hours, anyway. we could go for a walk,"
"Oh, a spledid idea, Phineas!"

He held up his hand. "I just need to writ Jeff a note. Just so he won't think I deserted him,"

After writing a quick note, Bogg and Olivia left the apartment.

An hour later, Jeffrey awoken to an empty, dark apartment. He looked over at the over-
sized chair and was shocked when he didn't see Bogg there.
"Bogg?" he moaned, rubbing his eyes.
When he did'nt hear the rough grunt from the pirate, he got p and started towards the kitchen and the notices the note from Bogg:

"Jeffrey,

Olivia and I have gone out for a visit. Don't know when I'll get bakc, If you et bored, visit Morgan at their apartment where she's reading. I'll meet you there."

Figures, Jeffrey moaned. A smile came on his face when he had read about Morgan. It WOULD be nice to see her again. Maybe he'll just get a drink, read a few pages of his favorite book, then go see her.

He goes to the refrigerator, grabs a soda and gets his favorite book, "Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens.
Not even into the second chapter, he hears a noise behind him.
"Bogg, you know I don't like being scared like that." he mutters.

"I'm not Bogg," came the voice he never wanted to hear again.

He slowly turns his head to face the man.

"Drake???"
