Chapter One
Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
Note: Illuthien is a so-to-speak OFC, a previously unnamed daughter of Arwen and Aragorn. Jade is the Doctor's little sister, who has regenerated but never changed form...much. Only her hair and eyes changed. I'm changing one little detail in the Dr. Who fandom. Apparently, Time Lords could only have 13 forms or regenerations or whatever the exact term was. I'm changing it to...well, that I haven't quite decided yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

Prologue:
Jack stared at the stacks of files on his desk. Ianto had set them from smallest to largest, seeing as each file pertained to a different person. The smallest set away from the others. He sat in his chair and, as if on cue, Ianto came in with a cup of coffee, taking up a chair next to him. Jack took the coffee and smiled at the man, an action that always made Ianto weak in the knees. He sat down the cup and picked up the smallest file.
Name: The Sister.
Alias: Jade Dragon.
Title: (from Swedish books) Jadedraken, syster av beskyddandet av jord.
English Translation: The Jade Dragon, Sister of the Protector of Earth.
"The Doctor," Jack snickered.
Ianto leaned over and looked at the file, Jack pointing out the English translation of the girl's name. He chuckled lightly when he got what Jack had meant.
Note: Exact age is unknown, but she has been spotted in Britannia circa 300 BC, France 1731, Germany 1920, Italia circa 400 BC, Portugal 1971, Spain January of 1700, Russia June of 1910, etc...
Jack read out the list aloud, Ianto sitting there in almost a trance listening to his voice.
Note: 'latest' sightings have her seen with a group of women that seemed to grow by the year. Not much else is known about 'Jade'.
Jack handed the file to Ianto, who set it aside.

Jack saw the next 'file' which was a couple of folders high. A couple of overstuffed folders high, that is.
Name: Gogo Yubari.
Age: 17.
Note: Dresses in a stereotypical Japanese School Girl uniform. Her twin, Yuki, pretended to be Gogo and was killed by The Bride, aka Black Mamba.
Favored Weapons: tantō and manriki.
Former Mistress: O-Ren Ishii, deceased.
Jack read aloud Gogo's history and was amazed, not to mention slightly shocked, but not at all surprised. After what had happened to the poor girl... He shook his head and handed Ianto the file.

Jack was rather surprised by the next file. This is where it gets strange, He thought to himself.
Name: River Michelle Tam.
Age: 17.
Father: Gabriel Samuel Tam.
Mother: Regan Titania Tam.
Brother: Simon Joshua Tam.
Note: Was trained to be the perfect Assassin. Amygdala was removed surgically. Was taken from the Academy from brother Simon Tam.
Jack read on, rather silently this time, only mouthing the words. Ianto saw a variety of emotions pass over the man's face, though shock and horror were rather frequent, more so than anything else.
"That poor girl, Ianto..." He whispered, looking at the man when he took the file from him.
Ianto set aside the file and moved his chair closer to Jack, which seemed to make his boss feel better.

It was a few days before Jack could get over River's file long enough to read the next girl's file. Ianto, Tosh, Owen, and Gwen sat Jack down before Ianto went and got the next file.
Name: Kagome Higurashi.
Age: 17.
Title: Keeper of the Shikon No Tama.
"Cool," Owen chuckled.
Jack chuckled.
"The Jewel of Four Souls..." He said softly, "haven't heard about that in years."
Tosh raised a brow at him. But what Tosh didn't say is that Kagome was her baby cousin. Kagome's mom was, and is, her aunt.
Note: Miss Higurashi traveled with the Inu-Youkai Half-Blood Inuyasha, the Monk Miroku, the Pure Blood Fox demon kit Shippo, a demon slayer Sango and cat demon Kirara.
Note: Defeated the demon Naraku, formerly Onigumo, at age 16.
Note: Was long sought by the pure blood Wolf Demon king, Koga, since age 15.
Note: Holds the key word to the cursed beads around the neck of Inuyasha.
Note: Related to Torchwood 3 employee, Toshiko Sato.
The others looked at Tosh, who just shrugged.
"What? You never asked."
Jack just shook his head.
"She has an impressive file..."
"She does, doesn't she?"

She sat back against the wall, smacking away the medics who tried to help her. The women with her were not all that surprised by her actions, she was rather picky about who she let work on her.

Jack let Ianto drive this time. His mind going through the files of Jade, River, Gogo, and Kagome. He didn't mean to be rather...distant, but at that moment, he couldn't help it.

Jade Dragon hissed while she let River patch her up. She sat on the back of the ambulance while the muttering genius cleaned the cuts.

Jack looked up when the van stopped, the others filing out. Routine, that's all it really was. It took them a few seconds to realize that Jack hadn't moved.

Jade Dragon felt eyes on her. Eyes that her muttering genius kept saying 'Jack'. JD smiled.
"Harkness," She finished for River, who nodded.

Ianto dragged Jack out of the van, which rather shocked the others, to tell the truth.
"What are you staring at?" He asked the man.

Jade Dragon turned her head, staring into bright blue eyes. River stopped and stepped back, anticipating what JD was about to do. The Time Lady was up off the back of the ambulance and took off in a run toward a man quicker than anyone at the crime scene could blink.

Jack laughed when he got an arm full of young woman.
"T wouldn' shut up about ya, ya know?" She asked, her accent a mix of things that seemed to be uniquely her.
"T?" Jack asked, his arm still around the dark haired girl.
Jade Dragon rolled her eyes.
"Theta?"
Jack's brows furrowed and Jade groaned.
"The Doctor, numb nuts," She smacked him upside his head.
