Early one chilled winter evening in the hub:
"What are you doing?" Jack asked cautiously.
"Knitting a baby blanket."
"Oh." Looking very slightly guilty, Jack stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked down at Ianto, who was sitting on the sofa with his feet on the coffee table. "Well, you're taking this much better than I thought you would. It's nice, I like the stripes. I didn't even know you knitted."
Ianto paused, needle thrust through the next stitch, and calmly returned his gaze. "And I didn't know you could get pregnant. I think our communication skills need work."
