Ben's Girl
Chapter One

"Down boy!" called a girl's voice when the dog man rushed Max.
The man stopped dead in his tracks.
"Sorry about Joshua..." The voice was eerily familiar, "he is a bit protective of me."
Max about had a heart attack when the girl stepped forward. She was tiny, in a petite sort of way. Her skin was pale now, more than Max had remembered it being that is, and her blue tinted black hair was now to her hips.
"Hey, Maxie..." She waved.
Max hugged the girl. Finally, Max thought to herself, a familiar face in this dump.
"BT," She sighed, "it's good to see you."
BT stepped back.
"I wish I could say the same, Max," She sighed.
Max's brows furrowed. What did she mean by that? She stepped forward and BT stepped back.
"BT..."
The girl glared daggers at her.
"I know about Ben, Maxie," The girl growled, louder than Joshua had.
Max stepped back a few steps and let her head drop.
"He begged me, BT..." She whispered.
The girl let out a barking snarl.
"Mom?" A voice called.
BT turned around.
"Sweetie..."
A little boy, or at least he should have been had Renfro not accelerated his growth, walked out of an open door. He scratched the back of his neck, his barcode was itching again.
"Who is that?" He asked.
BT walked up to the 'boy' and pulled his hand away from his neck, rubbing his knuckles with her thumb. Max looked at the kid. Holy shit...He looks just like Ben...
"I was already knocked up when they found me," BT told Max, her back still to her 'sister', "Ben left...they were getting too close...that's when you found him.."
The 'boy' looked at Max, like he was trying to remember something.
"Is she Aunt Maxie?" He asked BT softly, "the one that..."
BT nodded.
"He has Ben's memories..."
Joshua came up to the 'boy' and put an arm around him.
"Lexxie..." Joshua whispered to the boy.
'Lexxie' seemed to relax against Joshua. BT led Max to an escape route. And when the time came for Max to escape, she went straight to BT.
"What do you want, Max?" BT sighed.
Max closed her eyes for a quick second.
"I'm getting out of here and I want to take you guys with me, Brain Trust," Max used BT's full name.
Brain Trust, or Brina Truss as Ben called her, cocked her head, her eyes glazing for a quick second. In her own mind, Brain Trust ran over memories and memories, searching for the files she knew she had seen once.
"Dawn..." She croaked, "Dawn Summers."
Max's brows furrowed.
"Who is she?"
"Your mom..."

Dawn was shaking. She had been for hours. Xander sat catatonic and Faith...was sort of ecstatic. Faith Sandeman had a little brother. Even if he was Transhuman. She could understand why Dawn was shaking. She had just found out that her babies were alive. Sam, as one was called, was in Canada with her husband and step-son. And Max...She was on her way with Xander's girl. Xander had been a sperm donor for her father's project and Dawn had been a surrogate. Xander also found out that he was a grand-dad...to a little boy who accelerated in age to about 16 or 17 and he was named Lexxie. The funny thing was that the father of his grandson was one of Buffy's boys, Ben. Max had her boy, Logan Cale, call. Logan, Max, her friends: OC, Kendra, Sketchy, and Herbal were coming. Along with Buffy's boy, Alec, and Xander's girl, who Max said they called Brain Trust, cause her specialty was recon. She has a photographic memory and could remember anything and everything. Brain Trust's boy, Lexxie, was 'mated' to her brother, Joshua.
"Faith?" Buffy's voice broke through the silence and through Faith's thoughts.
"Yeah?"
"Who are they?"
Faith smiled, which was rather rare.
"My brother Joshua," She counted out on her fingers, "Dawn's girl Max, Max's sister Sam in Canada, happy and with a family of her own. Your boy Alec..."
Buffy turned when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Ben, honey, you should be resting..."
Ben waved it off and sat down next to his aunt Dawn.
"My clone..." He prompted Faith.
Faith nodded at Ben, smiling slightly.
"Your girl, Brain, is coming too."
Ben's normal depressed and brooding face brightened up at the mention.
"And your guys' boy too."
His brows furrowed.
"Renfro accelerated his growth," She clarified and Ben nodded in understanding, "he's actually with my brother, Joshua."
That surprised Ben, but not all too much.
"Some of Max's friends are coming, too," She finished.
The family continued talking, Ben leaning on Dawn as he listened to them.
