Word Association Can Lead to Sex
Word Association Can Lead to Sex
A few days after Chuck returned from Monaco with his father, talk of Eric coming out and Asher being outed started simmering down. Eric still had to deal with wayward looks, teasing catcalls and threatening notes. Lilly wasn’t the greatest help either as she was still dealing with her son being gay, but she was trying to say the least.
Chuck had never felt anything but admiration for Eric. After all he was a van der Woodsen, who could think poorly of them? Of all the things that Chuck Bass did; lie, cheat and have promiscuous sex on rooftops and hotel elevators, he did not judge. And that was a fact.
He had just had enough when Eric reduced himself to locking himself in his bedroom and excusing himself from the dinner table when awkward conversation was brought up. He needed to expunge the situation before Eric did something he would regret. If Eric reduced himself to childish games, so would Chuck.
After another one of the now becoming frequent and unpleasant van der Woodsen/Bass dinners, Chuck excused himself and followed Eric to his room after Lily said something along the lines of homosexuality being a phase. Knocking quietly on the door, Chuck announced his presence.
“Eric, open the door. We need to speak.”
“Go away Chuck. Thanks for trying but you can tell my mother I’ll be fine.”, Eric responded through the wooden barrier.
Chuck knocked a little harder.
“I said open the door Eric.”, he said with a little hiss to his voice. Chuck was really getting sick of this.
Finally Eric opened the door and poked his head through the crack, but before he could tell Chuck to leave, Chuck interrupted and pushed the door wide open and allowed himself inside.
“I told you I’ll be fine-”
Chuck held up his hand and cut Eric off.
“We’re going to play a little game, seeing as your so fond of playing them recently. Sit down.”, Chuck ordered. Eric sluggishly lead himself to his computer chair as Chuck seated himself on Eric’s bed.
“What’s the game?”, Eric asked without any interest what so ever, but he couldn’t just ignore his “family” forever.
“Word association. I say one word and you respond with the first word that comes to mind.”, Chuck drawled.
“This sounds about the lamest game ever known to man. I’d rather play Parcheesi, and I don’t even known what Parcheesi is.”, Eric responded. This was going to be a pretty boring night.
“Glad to hear you’re enthused. Let’s start. Asher.” Okay so Chuck wanted to star off with a bang, since when has that changed?
“I don’t want to play anymore.”, Eric spoke. Well spoke isn’t the right word, more like choked.
“You haven’t even started. Now, I believe I said Asher. Now you respond with the first word that comes to mind.”, Chuck gave a wicked smile. Eric was going to participate and he was going to like it … maybe.
“Bastard”, Eric huffed out as he crossed his arms high on his chest and turned in his chair.
“Lilly”
“Unbelievable” Eric rolled his eyes.
“Serena”
“Determined”
“Jenny”
“Shallow”
“Blair”
“Loyal”
“Not the word that came to my mind.”, Chuck gritted out.
“Chuck!” Eric laughed out loud.
Wait - Eric laughing? This game was going to work in Chuck’s favor after all. Now it was time to change tactics.
“Okay lets keep going. Humphrey.”, Chuck nearly spat the last word out like it was a bad taste in his mouth.
“Hot”
“Shut up!” You could say Chuck was nearly astounded.
“I’m serious! Now keep going, I’m sort of liking this game”, Eric replied finally coming out of his shell.
“Ostroff”
“Jail”
“Constance”
“Hell. On Earth. Sorry, I just don’t think one word could sum up my hatred of that school.”, Eric fumed.
“That’s quite alright E.”, Chuck was just happy he was speaking to a real human person again instead of hiding.
“Eric van der Woodsen”, Chuck said, almost asked.
“Strong”, Eric replied after a short while.
And it was true, Eric was strong. After everything he’d been through, he would have never gotten through them is he had been weak. His recent hurdles just needed to be conquered. He was who he was and he didn’t plan on changing for anyone but himself.
Chuck was proud. Was that odd? He saw Eric as far much more than Serena’s kid brother, his soon to be sibling, or even Lily van der Woodsen’s gay son. He saw him as a strong and extremely attractive young man. It only helped that he was homosexual. Sexuality was never an issue with Chuck. Sex or the lack there of was a problem, it didn’t matter who it came from.
“Chuck Bass”
“Hot”, Eric replied with his own teasing smile and Chuck was once again almost astounded. It took a lot to shock or surprise Chuck Bass and this kid had almost done so twice in one night.
“Come on now. You call the Humphrey scum hot. I think I deserve a little more than that.”, Chuck responded without missing a beat.
Eric’s eyebrows raised in surprise. He didn’t think Chuck would allow, or even somewhat acknowledge what he’d just said.
“Alright. Sexy. Insatiable. Adonis. Sensual. Passionate. A hunk. Perfect. You happy now Bass?”, Eric drawled, his voice had a somewhat deep and sexy rasp to it. He stalked his way over to Chuck sitting on the bed who looked up at him as if he was a delectable desert awaiting to be devoured.
Chuck licked his lips sinfully. “Not as happy as I could be if we were naked, writhing in between the sheets.”, Chuck responded grabbing at Eric’s hips and dragging him atop his lap before kissing him like there was no tomorrow.
Vulgar terms were shared with the occasional “who’s your daddy?” and “fuck me Chuck!” along with grunts, swears, groans, whimpers and shouts. Cigarettes were lit and clothes were retrieved before goodnight kisses and lingering glances had been exchanged.
All in all Chuck knew that Eric would be fine. Time would pass and Gossip Girl would eventually find newer, juicer gossip. Eric would be able to go on with his life, hopefully with Chuck and he could be happy. All he would need is support from his family and friends and they were more than happy to help. And besides, now with all the time they’d have from skipping dinner, Chuck and Eric could do more fun and interesting things than playing word games and Parcheesi.
The end.
