CHAPTER 1
"Guess Moseby was right all along," London said, turning to Maddie. "He always is," Moseby commented, as he passed them, overhearing their conversation. They headed up the steps and out the hotel doors to their dates and both girls had a great time dancing the night away.
They didn't make it back to the Tipton until well after midnight. "Wanna spend the night?" London asked. "Sure. I'm too tired to walk home." Maddie reached into her purse and pulled out her cell, "Hey, it's me. I know I should have called earlier, but I'm gonna stay with London tonight." She hung up and the girls headed for the elevator. "Was your mom mad?" Maddie shook her head, "With as often as we're out, she's used to it. She turns the phone off but leaves the machine on. I hate talking to that thing, but at least she won't freak out in the morning." Silence fell as they stepped into the elevator and rode it to the top. Both girls were too exhausted from the past week to talk much.
As they stepped out, London dug around in her purse for her key card. "A-ha!" she said, as her fingers closed around it after a few seconds. She slipped it in it's slot and opened the door. "Go grab something from Pajama Palace, and don't forget your map. I'm gonna jump in the shower," London told Maddie and she walked towards the bathroom as Maddie headed for London's huge closet. Doing better, she entered the bedroom at the same time as London. "Lost?" Maddie smiled, "Only twice," she admitted. London laughed at her. "Hey, I'm getting used to it." London looked puzzled, "You're getting used to getting lost?" Maddie rolled her eyes, "No, London, your closet. Remember the first time?" London smiled at the memory, "Yeah. It only took you an hour to find your way out. So, you gonna shower now or in the morning?"
Minutes later, Maddie came back into the room. "Ya know, that shower woke me up. I shoulda waited." London agreed, "I was thinking the same thing," she glanced at Maddie, "Tonight wasn't a dream...was it?" "What do you mean?" Maddie asked her. "Well, I was just thinking...am I too fat?? Were those guys just being nice?" Maddie sat down on the bed, "You're still that insecure??" she asked, quietly adding, "At least I'm not the only one." "What?" Maddie continued, "Well, after what...what'd you call her?...'Frap-chesca'?...said, I'm still wondering if I'm too skinny."
London walked to the full-length mirror and dropped the towel that she was still wrapped in, not having gotten dressed yet. Maddie gasped, "LONDON!!" London turned, "What? It's not like we don't have the same parts." Maddie shrugged, "True. If we don't, something's seriously wrong with one of us," she agreed and joined London at the mirror, dropping her towel as well. Maddie caught the look London gave her, but dismissed it.
She turned around slowly, "Well? What do YOU think...AM I too skinny?" London glanced at her, "Uhh..." Maddie misread the pause, "I am, aren't I?" London smiled, "I don't know! In order to judge, I'll have to look. I mean...really look." Maddie shrugged, "Isn't that the point?" London watched as Maddie spun around, a little slower this time. "So?"
"WOW!" Maddie turned towards her, "What??" London smiled again, "Nothing wrong that I can see. My turn!" She stepped in front of the mirror again as Maddie moved over. "UGH! I hate my thighs." Maddie stared at her, "May I ask why?" London turned to face her, "Well...look at them! They're horrible!!" Maddie laughed. "What's so funny about my tree trunks?" Maddie looked away, "Honest opinion?" London mumbled a "Yes," though she wasn't really sure if she wanted the truth. Maddie walked over to the window, towel back on, "I always thought your thighs needed to meet my ears." London sat down on the bed, "Huh?? I don't get it. You think you have big ears?" Maddie joined her on the bed, ditching the towel, laying down, and covering up. "No, think about it, London!" she said, as she turned off the light on her side of the bed. London finally climbed into bed, ditching her towel, too and turned off her light. Maddie was still awake and could hear her whispering "thighs meet ears...thighs meet ears..."
Just as Maddie was finally drifting off the sleep, London's scream woke her right back up. "OH MY GOD! THIGHS MEET EARS! I GET IT NOW!!!! Wait a minute..." she snapped her light back on. "Hey! Maddie!!" The gorgeous blonde pretended to sleep on, but when she felt London's lips on her neck, she couldn't pretend any longer.
She let out a soft moan, "See, I knew you'd get there eventually...but I wasn't expecting this!" London smiled down at her, now on top of her, and kissed her before asking, "How long??" she asked. "What??" London repeated, "How long?" Maddie stared at her, "How long what?" London leaned over and nipped at her throat, "How long have you been thinking that?!" Maddie confessed, "I don't know...since the first time I saw you." London laughed, "Why didn't you say anything sooner?" Maddie just shrugged. London licked her neck, "I've been thinking the same thing for a while now." Maddie smiled, "Okay, fine, my turn....how long?"
London looked into her eyes, "About 2 months or so. When I joined the volleyball team at school. Standing behind you with you wearing those tight ass short shorts...all I could think of was that if they were only slightly tighter...well...it wouldn't take much of an imagination to see everything without seeing it." Maddie laughed, "Why do you think I joined the team? I wanted to see how many boys I could drive insane. I actually got hit on by half the football team...and two of the girls on the volleyball team!" London laughed, "Yeah, hence why I never said anything either. You were constantly going on about Bill, Todd, Michael, Jack, Jeff, and so many other guys, I didn't think you'd be interes...wait a minute! Which two members of our team??" she demanded.
Maddie looked at her, "I'm not saying which two, but honestly, I think boys are just...full functional toys, I don't want much to do with them other than a good one nighter or FWB's." London was shocked, "So, how many...'fully functional toys'...have you been with?" Maddie blushed, "Only 2." London smiled at her, "Respectable...how many women?"
"Does kissing count?" London, still smiling, responded, "Kissing counts...anything else is just icing on the cake." Maddie laughed, "Well, in that case...six." "SIX?? Who??" London asked. "You wouldn't know any of them. Three were from my old school, before we met. The other two were from Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrow, but they moved before you started going there." London counted..."Three from your old school, two from OLPS...that's only 5, Maddie." "Yeah, but London, you just said kissing counts...and you kissed me. That's six." Maddie smiled wickedly, "So, do I get icing or not?"
