A/N: I hope you like the story because I became sick of the typical stories of he and Nick or him and Sara. No. Not on my reading. So I just made Greg with another girl that shares his interests. So I hope you enjoy and reviews shall be happily loved.

I-Hop, Murder & a Suicide Girl
“Alright look the vic shares seven alleles with killer” explained Greg. Warrick looked at him with total shock.
“But Greg, that’s impossible. The vic has no living family that we know of. I mean, I looked at all of her records and documents, all stating no living family. Thanks Greg, this definitely changes the case around.” Warrick walked out of the DNA lab to go talk to Grissom about the revelations.
Greg looked down at his watch after Warrick left and breathed a sigh of relief.
“It’s time to go.” He whispered to himself. Greg shuffled all the papers on the desk back together, slipped them into their proper folders and placed them in the bin for the morning crew to take over. Greg went to the locker room to hang up his lab coat and grab his cars keys and jacket, when he saw Sara walk in.
“Hey Greg, slow day huh?”
“Um, yeah I guess. It was good for me, that’s for sure. You know I even took a two hour nap in the break room. I mean seriously a man could get used to that.” He rambled on with a blushed face and wide eyes.
“Greg-you ok? You’re eyes are bloodshot and glassy.” Sara smirked. Greg just slammed his face into his locker door.
‘Damn, damn, and more damn’ Greg thought to himself “I’m rambling again aren’t I?
“Yeah” Sara giggled and shook her head. She headed out but before leaving she popped her head back into the room “Oh yeah and Greg,”
“Yes Sara?”
“Grissom told me to tell you that you’re working the field tonight with Nick and me.”
“No way! Word, this is awesome!” Greg had a smile like a five year old kid in a candy store. “I think I’m gonna go treat myself this fine morning with some International House of Pancakes. Mm, yeeeah. Pancakes.”
Greg was practically drooling. Sara just laughed, shook her head and left. Greg followed and walked to his car. The Las Vegas morning sun was incredibly intense that day, almost to the point of blinding. Greg just sighed at the light and heat and put on his shades. For some reason Greg was feeling happy, not just because he was going to be able to work the field today but like something good was going to happen. Or just that nothing bad could happen to him.
After about 20 minutes of driving the strip he pulled into the I-Hop parking lot, where he found his ideal parking space. It was right near the door but not in the handicap section. I-Hop was pretty packed today; it was tourist season after-all. He drove up to the spot but before he could park, another car sped up into the space that he was eyeing.
“Fuck!!” Greg slapped the steering wheel. “Goddamn it, I hate fucking tourists, thinking they own the whole goddamned place. They have no consideration for us people who actually live here.”
He looked up to see the punk-ass bitch that took his spot. A series of swears were only inches from his lips when a girl walked out the car. The girl was about 5’6, platinum blond with faded out pink hair that went down to her chin, and fairly pale skin. She was wearing big square shades, a pair of skinny jeans, a band t-shirt that Greg didn’t recognize, a tote bag with another band logo that he couldn’t recognize either, huge beads around her neck and a pair of bright lime green stilettos. But the one thing that stood out to Greg was her lips. Her lips were bright juicy, crimson, ruby red. In the flash of the moment he wondered what he could do to those lips.
While day dreaming, he heard a knock on his car window. It was the girl that took his spot. Greg rolled down his window to see why she was knocking on it.
“Hey guy, there are people behind you and they’ve been honking for like, the past couple of minutes.” The girl said with a thick Jersey accent pointing behind her.
“Oh shit. Sorry” Greg looked behind him, stumbled and headed forward to find another parking space. But before he did, he looked at the girl again as she reached for the door he screamed out;
“Hey thanks.”
She just looked back and waved with a laughing smile.
After Greg ordered and paid his bill, he headed out to his car wondering if he’ll ever see that girl again. Once again he was day dreaming while walking and walked right into the main doors to get out. An old lady waiting to be seated saw what happened and walked up to him.
“Deary, are you ok?” the old lady rubbed his shoulder
“Oh yeah I’m ok lady, thanks. Just thinking too much.” He rubbed his head.
“That’s what’s wrong with you youth today. You don’t know how to relax anymore.” The old lady just walked away and sat back down with her husband.
Greg went out to his car and headed home to sleep.
On the other side of Vegas ……
Music is blasting in a Las Vegas home. A couple of friends are setting up for a photo shoot for their friend who is getting ready in her bedroom.
“Hey, have you seen the light stand? I can’t find it anywhere?” A girl with bright blue hair screamed over the music.
“No, I haven’t, Rain. But I think it’s still in the van, I’ll go check.” A girl with black hair and thick rimmed glasses said.
“Thanks Missy.” Rain said while trying to make space for the light stand.
Rain finished setting up for the shoot and sat on the couch just waiting for Emi to be finished with her make-up and waiting for Missy to come back with the light stand. But for some reason it was taking way too long for Missy to come back. The van was right outside in the driveway. So she got up from the couch and went outside. She didn’t see anybody around, not even Missy. She assumed Missy went inside using the side door to the house. So Rain went back inside looking for her, but to no avail. Rain walked all over the house and the basement, but still nothing.
“Hey Addie, did Missy pass by you?” she asked one of the other girls helping out.
“No. Why?” Addie replied shaking her head
“Well, ‘cause about 20 minutes ago Missy went to the van to see if the light stand was in there because I couldn’t find it in the living room, so I went outside to see what was taking so long and I didn’t see her out there, and I’m starting to get worried ‘cause I can’t find her anywhere around the house.” Rain said with a shake in her voice.
“Have you tried to call her cell phone? I mean the girl doesn’t go to the bathroom without it.”
“No, no I haven’t. I didn’t even think of that.” Said Rain a little more calmly.
“Rain, maybe she went to the store to get something real quick.”
“Yeah I guess.” Rain picked up the house phone and dialed Missy’s phone.
Ring… Ring… Ring… Ring… Ring… ‘Hey this is Missy’s phone. I’m not here right now so just leave a good one and might just have to get back to you. Bye’
“Crap!” Rain hissed.
“Hey, what’s wrong Rain?” Emi walked in looking glamorous for the shoot.
“Oh God, Emi, don’t scare me like that. It’s just that Missy is MIA.”
“What? I thought she was here already.” Emi said in shock
“Yeah well she was. Long story short, light stand missing, she went to the van outside to look and now she’s nowhere to be found.”
“Oh God, how long ago was this?”
“About 40 minutes now.” Rain started to freak out and burst into tears.
“Hey, just calm down she probably went to the store or something. Did you try her phone?” asked Emi
“Yeah and nothing, this isn’t like her. I’m calling the cops and reporting a missing person.” Rain picked up the house phone again and called *911
“911, how may I help you?”
“Hi, I’d like to report a missing person.”
“How long has this person been missing ma’am?” the operator asked
“Umm. About an hour.” Rain said frantically
“Well ma’m I’m sorry to say but in order for a person to be considered missing they have to be missing for 12 hours or more. Maybe your friend went to the store or something.”
“But she she’s not picking up her phone or anything. And she was supposed to be outside looking for something in the van and come back inside.”
“I’m sorry ma’am, but I can’t do the report. She has to be missing for 12 hours or more to be considered actually missing. I’m sorry but it’s just policy.”
“GODDAMNIT, WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE GOOD FOR?” Rain screamed and hung up the phone.
