Duncan doesn’t smile when they’re together anymore. It disappeared right around the time he first fucked his best friend without any lube or protection. Just pushed Logan into the mattress and drove his cock deep into the smaller boy’s ass. But that wasn’t the reason he stopped smiling.

After all the frustration and anger he’d released on Logan, he felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. Logan, however, just smiled at him, a look of absolute calm on his face. As if somehow, everything was okay now.

Duncan swore it would never happen again.

*~*~*~*

The sounds coming from Logan’s lips as Duncan’s fingers dig into his biceps are painfully beautiful. So much pain and pleasure in one moan of desperation that Duncan knows he’ll be lucky to last ten minutes, let alone the hours of fucking he’d promised as he whispered into his best friend’s ear during class that morning. Logan keeps trying to push him. Screaming at him to fuck harder. And when Duncan doesn’t listen, he gets a string of abuse which inevitably leads to him losing his temper.

Logan wins, and Duncan falls a little deeper into this fucked up relationship which they both know will only end in tears.

Or bruises. Which Logan is collecting like sick little badges to prove how fucked up he is. Duncan can’t help but wishing he could take them all back. Even the ones he didn’t make.

And yeah, maybe this is somehow all Aaron Echolls’ fault. It’s easy to blame someone else. Duncan knows he can’t pin the blame on someone else for long. Maybe Logan asks for it, but Duncan gives it. Too easily sometimes, he admits that. But his issues are a whole other story.

End.
