Reinforcements from the Future: A Second Look

Taylor Earheart sat on a bench under a tree on the Animarium deeply engrossed in her book. The Wild Force Power Rangers had recently joined forces with the Time Force Rangers to defeat three terrible mutant orgs, other known as mute-orgs. The rangers had been successful and now both teams were celebrating with a picnic on the Animarium. They had all more or less paired off: the Princess and Merrik, Alyssa and Cole, Wes and Jen, Lucas and Naderia, Danny and Katie, and the rest were happy as they were. Taylor reached into her pocket of her black pants to pull out her bookmark when instead she pulled out the speeding ticket she had gotten the day before. Eric Meyers. Taylor felt her heartbeat quicken at the thought of him. She heard a crunching of the grass and a familiar scent of aftershave followed by his rumbling voice asking as he whisked her book away.
“What are you reading?”
“Eric!” She cried out and raced after him, as he took off holding her book captive.

Taylor managed to corner the Quantum Ranger in-between the stream and a cavern of rocks.
“Give it back Meyers,” she commanded.
Eric looked at her smugly and shook his head and said,
“Manners Earheart, Manners, didn’t the Air Force teach you any?”
“Eric!” Taylor snapped stamping her foot. “Give it back now! Please.”
Eric took a step forward toward Taylor and tossed it a few feet away. Taylor lunged for the book and he caught her around the middle.
“Let me go!” she cried as she swept her leg under his, Eric stumbled but held on tightly to Taylor as the pair tumbled into the stream, thoroughly soaking them. “Meyers!” she screamed standing up, her clothes clung to her like a second skin, accentuating her shapely figure. Eric could only sit and stare at her. “Stop looking at me!” Taylor snapped. Eric shook his head and stood up his own clothes also clinging to him like a second skin accentuating his hard-defined muscles. He crossed over to her as she opened her mouth to begin another tirade and silenced her with a kiss. Taylor looked at him, her expression priceless.
