~*~*~*~

All my life, I've heard from one relative or another just how much I remind them of my Dad. From the glasses that transform our faces to our colouring, from the way I cook breakfast to the way I shake my head at some of the things my brothers and sisters say and do. My Pop (I have two fathers, and neither of them were really fond of being thought of as ‘Mom') would sometimes look at me in a certain way, and I'd know I must have somehow reminded him of Dad at my age. We are so alike in many ways...

...such as, how both of our lives changed irrevocably the summer we turned 11.

Growing up, we - we being myself, my fellow triplets Lawrence and Edwina, and our younger siblings, Tristan and Lily - all heard the stories from our parents' youth, especially how Dad went from being an orphaned live-in servant in his uncle Vernon's home to being one of the most well- known wizards in all of England. In one shot, his entire world changed with the arrival of an owl.

My world changed much the same way, except I went from being one of many eccentric characters in the family, to almost being a stranger in my own home.

That is no longer the case now, though it took many years and much heartbreak, as well as the death of someone I cared about so very much. Sometimes, I wish it could all be as it was when I was 10 years old, but whenever I do, I feel my own husband's arms wrapped around me and accept that even with everything that has happened, I couldn't have my life any other way.

And no matter how many times I may change my last name, I will forever be Timothy, son of Harry and Ron, Weasley by blood and Potter by heritage, and husband of my beloved Miguel. That is who I am today...

...and like my Dad, it all started the summer I turned 11 with the arrival of an owl.
