Seth found out he was in love with Ryan during the summer when he was packing to go to Brown.

With every shirt he packed he thought about Ryan's wife beaters. With every book he thought of how hard Ryan use to study just to drop it all to hang with him. Then when he got to his maps he couldn't handle it. He remembered the first day they met and when Ryan left because Theresa was pregnant. It had hurt so much.

He couldn't believe that he forgot about all that. Or maybe he didn't. Maybe he thought that after all his clothes, books, and maps were put in boxes he would just take Ryan and pack him in another bigger box. With holes in it so Ryan could breathe. Seth was very considerate.

It was very enlightening for him to find out that at the end of his musing that it drew him to the conclusion that he was fatally in love with Ryan.

With that thought he had took the journey to the pool house. He didn't know what he was going to say but he knew that even if there was the tiniest, mega small chance that Ryan felt a quarter of what he felt for him that maybe he had a small chance of.... being with Ryan. The thought sent pleasant goosebumps up Seth's back.

Then he opened the pool-house door and found Ryan and Marissa, together, naked, having sex, straight sex. They didn't notice him. So Seth quietly closed the door and went back up to his room to pack.

That is when Seth remembered why he didn't have a chance. Not even the tiniest, mega small chance. Ryan was straight and in love with Marrissa. And Seth thought that Ryan might be in love with Marissa the way he is in love with him.

If he is Seth is really happy for him.

Seth went to Brown and Summer didn't. She was disappointed that she didn't get in and went to a college in Arizona.

She met a guy and she had told Seth that it felt really special and wonderful to be with him and that she had never felt that way about a guy before.... Seth remembered his name was Jared but he really didn't care.

He wasn't jealous though because he thought that maybe the way Summer feels about Jared is the way he feels about Ryan.

Then he is really happy for her and Jared.

Ryan and Marissa both went to Berkeley. From the phone calls from Ryan they had broke up more then eight times during that first year.

Ryan had dated another girl and so did Marissa but in the end they always got back together.

Seth was very happy for them.

For Seth his first year at Brown was hard. He always felt behind and worked twice as hard just to keep up. That left him with no times for a social, private, and sex life. It really didn't suck though.

Seth was alone for a long time and it was easy to become accustomed to it again.

Also for the sex part.... Seth would never admit this to anyone at the risk of the little testosterone he had but he never really liked sex that much or needed it.

That was why it was so easy to with hold sex from Summer back then for so long.

His room mate though; he guessed was a stud because he would come back almost every day with a new story about a girl he just screwed. His name was Richard and he really enjoyed sex.

Seth's second year went much easier on his brain and psyche. With his easier class load he decided to go to a party. Seth didn't know anyone at this party and he was really lonely. To make up for this Seth drank and Seth drank a lot.

The next day when Seth woke up he was not in his room and he was not alone. The guy that was asleep next to him was naked and he didn't know who he was. Seth also noticed that his lower region hurt considerably like a million lightning flashes to a place that he didn't want to think about.

Seth gingerly got up and started pulling his clothes away from one of the many piles that was on the floor. While he was doing this Seth felt something dry on the inside of his thigh and in between his cheeks. He scraped some off and found that it was a weird pinkish color.

At that moment he was pulled out of his sleepy hangover to come to three conclusions. He had lost his virginity to a stranger. He didn't remember none of it. Finally he didn't use a condom.

Seth walked through the big house with a feeling of dread in his stomach. When he finally found a door to the outside world he looked back with a weary look on his face that deepened when he looked at the Greek signs on the huge house.

He had lost his virginity to a 'Frat Boy'.

Seth tried to forget that it had ever happened after he got his test back and they all came back negative but it didn't work. His room mate, Richard, had come to their room some time later the incident telling him that his naked picture was on the wall of 'FUCK' at the fraternity house.

He told him that under the picture that..... Mick, Seth found out was the name of his first had put in red marker 'PRETTY GOOD FUCK'. Seth was actually really surprised that the fraternity was so OK with homosexuality and that there were actually a few gay frats in Brown.

Seth decided that since now he didn't have to worry who he was going to loose his virginity to that he should just sleep around. Seth found that guys really thought he was hot and liked to have sex with him compared to how he was almost completely ignored in high-school back in California where Ryan was.

So he took advantage of his new found sexiness and had a lot of it. Actually he had quite a lot of sex with men. Most of them he didn't know well or at all. He didn't know there major or their name. So how was he suppose to know that they had boyfriends or girlfriends. Really.

At the end of his second year Seth found out that he had made quite a name for himself..... As a slut.

Then during the summer before his third year Seth got a call from Ryan that he was going to visit him. Ryan had told him that him and Marissa had broke up and this time it was final. There was no turning back from this one.

Seth thought about how many times Ryan had said this but maybe this time he was for real. He was coming up to visit Seth. Something that Ryan hadn't done EVER.

So Ryan came and Seth had almost forgot how he looked. But then he thought that 'No' he couldn't forget because he had dreamed of him every night. It was just that Ryan had changed. His muscles a little bigger and his hair a little longer. Seth felt small next to him even though he was taller.

Sometimes Seth forgot to eat. Sometimes he forgot to eat lunch or forgot to eat that week. He swore to himself that it wasn't an eating disorder because that only happened to people with problems and Seth didn't have problems. Right!

But back to the matter at hand. Ryan. They went to lunch and talked about the old days that wasn't so long ago. Then out of no where Ryan had told him that he was doubting his sexuality. After a few stammers and uncomfortable silences

Seth got up the nerve to tell Ryan he was bi-sexual. After Seth's confession Ryan decided to stay the week in Seth's dorm room.

During that week they started holding hands and like Seth's undeclared major they became an undeclared couple. Ryan stayed more then a week. They made out and groped each other but Ryan wasn't ready and Seth understood.

Seth decided not to share all the extracurricular activities he had been up to even though they shared everything else including weird dreams, fears, jokes, and spit.

Then Ryan decided they should go to a party. Now Seth had always been an over thinking neurotic but in the daze of love all logic went out the window. So they went to the party and Seth kept his drinking under control. Then a guy came up behind Seth and draped his arm over his shoulder and nibbled at his neck.... Seth thinks his name might have been Jordan.

Seth winced at the name. A few months ago Seth found out that he had gotten the nickname 'training wheels' because of how many freshmen had had him for their very first man fuck. They said he looked very delicate and easy.

Then one night Ryan got off the floor where he was sleeping and went under the covers with Seth. They had sex and even though it was a little awkward since it was Ryan's first time but it was good and Seth helped him and there wasn't really that much mechanics and Seth really didn't need that much preparing.

Then summer ended and Ryan went back to Barkley without even a promise that they were going to get together again and Seth didn't ask. He was too afraid he would just plain out laugh in his face and Seth can't handle that. He thought it would be better to stay ignorant to what Ryan felt than no the truth.

After Ryan didn't call for awhile Seth assumed that he got back with Marissa until the day that Marissa called....crying..... saying that Ryan was engaged..... to a guy. Seth thinks his name was Josh.

No Seth was sure his name was Josh because he thought of ways to kill him before he went to sleep each night of his third year.

Seth tried not to be mad at Ryan but he was. Then Ryan had wrote him a letter. In it it stated that it would be to hard to talk to him on the phone. He explained the engagement and how everyone knew. He thanked Seth for helping him with his sexuality and how he was in love.

Then Seth understood. Training wheels indeed. But Seth was happy for Ryan.

Seth was happy for Ryan and Josh.

It was in the middle of his third year that Summer went to visit him. He remembers her first words to him. ' You need to win back Chino Cohen'

With that Summer told him how she went to visit Ryan just to see if he was actually engaged to a guy. Then they went out to a bar and Ryan got drunk and confessed to Summer that he was in love with Seth.

Ryan had told her about their little fling during the summer and how it meant so much more to Ryan then that. Seth thought that if it meant to Ryan half of what it meant to him then Ryan might actually love him.

But Seth was scared and he didn't want to be hurt even though he was already hurting. Then Summer had told him about how 'Josh' was just another version of Seth.

Funny, curly hair, skinny, Jewish and annoying. That is when Seth came to the conclusion that is anyone was going to annoy Ryan for the rest of his life it would be him. Seth.

And Seth was happy for Summer for telling him.

Now, Seth was always over dramatic and he envisioned that when he stopped Ryan from getting married that it would be just like the scene from the graduate with the whole pounding on the church windows theme.

But it seemed that when he came to visit that everyone already knew that Ryan was in love with him. Including..... Josh.

So Ryan and Josh quietly called it quits and everyone knew why. Ryan and him had conversation in which they drained each other of all emotions until they both got everything out in the open and were exhausted.

Seth had an eating problem and a self esteem problem and Ryan had an anger problem and a problem with sharing his emotions. They both took some time off from school and helped each other.

Through this they fell deeper in love with each other. The climatic ending was when they were able to have sex with each other with out any baggage on their minds or heart. Seth also had to thank a very good therapist.

He was very happy the therapist could help them.

When they were ready to have sex it was 'AWESOME' is how Seth remembers it.

Ryan slowly moved with in him and held him tightly. They kissed and kept their eyes open through the entire love making except when they came.

But Seth didn't mind because he was being filled with Ryan's essence and it didn't burn.

That was the first time that sex didn't hurt for Seth. It was the first time he ever enjoyed sex. The first time anyone had ever made love to him.

Then Ryan told him that he was ready to lose his virginity and he wanted Seth to be his first and only. Seth was happy that Ryan was happy and he was happy to take Ryan's virginity.

Seth was happy period.
