YOU PROMISE
By SassySaraSidle

“Someone needs a good spanking.” Sara called from the break room. She had been trying to locate her salad, only to find her empty bowl in the sink.

“Sorry, Sara. Grissom ruined my sandwich again with that experiment in there. I thought you could get him to take you out. He is your boyfriend.” Nick teased.

Sara smiled. They had been together for six months now. Her life was next to perfect. They loved each and everyone knew it.

“The only problem with that, Nicky, is that Grissom doesn’t work tonight.” Sara’s moment chose that moment to rumble.

“Give me five minutes.” Nick was gone in a flash. When he returned, he handed her a small white take-out bag. “No meat. I promise.” And was gone again.

She opened the bag. It was from the deli down the street. She ate the Veggie Delight sandwich.

A few hours later, she was about to call it quits when her phone starting playing the Nokia tune. She smiled. Only one number made it ring that particular song. Grissom’s.

“Hey, Bugaboo!” Sara teased.

“You know I hate that, Sara Elizabeth Sidle.” Grissom tried to sound annoyed but failed miserably.

“Get over it, Blue Eyes.” Sara was walking to her car. “What are you doing?”

“Waiting on you.” And with that he hung up.

“How so very rude!” Sara mumbled. “Now, he’ll have to come to me.”

“Who will?” whispered a voice in her ear.

“Gil?” Sara turned quickly to face him. “What are you doing here?” He hardly ever came to work on his day’s off anymore.

“Thought we could go car shopping. You’ve been saying that you need a new one.” Grissom had her wrapped in his arms by then. She didn’t have a chance to answer before his lips were on hers.

When the kiss ended, she him tighter. “Okay. Let’s go.” They decided to drive her car because she was going to trade it in.

It took them a few hours, but Sara finally decided on a baby blue Jeep Wrangler.
“Matches your eyes.” Was the only reply she gave when he asked why that color. He just smiled.

“So, Blue Eyes, where to now?” Sara asked as she shifted into gear.

“Stop at the townhouse. I need to pick up a few things. Then from there, I am driving.” Sara didn’t argue with him. Her feet hurt from working all night.

Grissom made her close her eyes as he packed things into the Jeep.

“You can open them, but no peeking in the backseat or I’ll blindfold you and tie your hands.” Grissom teased.

“I won’t. Where are we going?” She hated when he got this way. She couldn’t do a damn thing to get him to tell her.

“Sit back. Relax. You’ll see soon enough.” Grissom reached for her hand as soon as they were on the road.

They pulled into a campsite an hour later. Sara looked at him quizzically. “Why are we turning?”

“We’ve rented a cabin for the next two days and nights. It’s very private.” Grissom said.

“What about work?” Sara asked.

“Took care of it, Baby Girl. Don’t worry.” Grissom squeezed her hand.

She reached over to his leg and squeezed softly. Slowly she worked her way up his thigh. A little further and she had him squirming. She unbuttoned his pants and unzipped them. When she finally had him in her hands, she began kissing his ear. “I love you.” she whispered as she stroked him softly.

He groaned audibly. “Sara, keep that up and you are going to get more than you bargained for.”

“You don’t scare me.” Sara teased.

They pulled into the long driveway to their cabin and he placed the car in park. They were far enough from the road that no one see.

He kissed her long and hard. He put his seat back and pulled her on top of him. She had changed into a skirt on the way there per his request.

He slid his hands up her thighs pulling her skirt with them. She shivered.
“Gil, we can’t do this here. We are almost there.” Sara gasped as his teeth made contact with her skin.

“Can’t wait.” He moved her panties aside and slipped two fingers into her. She moaned.

His fingers slowly worked in and out. He began kissing her mouth. He removed his fingers only to replace them with his rigid member. He slid into her effortlessly. She moved up and down fast.

“Sara, you feel so good.” He moaned between kisses. His hands found her hips as he rocked up to thrust into her. Faster and harder each time until Sara collapsed on top of him as they came together.

“I’ve never done that in a vehicle before.” Sara told him after their heartbeats had returned to normal.

He smiled into her neck. “You make me want to ravage you anywhere and everywhere. Now be a good girl and climb back into your seat. We’ll carry this inside our cabin.” Grissom winked at her.

They drove the rest of the driveway quickly. Not bothering to unpack, they checked out the cabin. The bedroom had a skylight and a huge King-sized bed. Sara immediately jumped on to the bed. She looked at him as she crawled toward the edge. “Join me.”

He obliged. He met her at the edge and began kissing her. He grabbed her roughly and pulled her to him. One hand was holding her hair so he could tilt her head back to have free reign of her neck. His free hand had slipped inside her shirt caressing her breasts.

She moaned his name. She freed herself from him and began disrobing him and herself. Clothes quickly piled on the floor at his feet.

“I see Tiny is ready for another round.” Sara teased as she grabbed his rock hard cock with one hand and licked his nipple.

“I want to fuck you silly, Sara.” Grissom said as he pushed her back on the bed. She landed softly. He was on top of her in seconds.

“So do it.” Sara challenged. He thrust into her hard. She wrapped her legs around him. This made him go deeper inside her.

“Don’t stop, Gil” That’s all the encouragement he needed. He plunged in and out of her. Faster and deeper each time. Sweat slicked their bodies but neither one let go.

He pulled himself out of her and placed her on her knees. He entered her from behind. He slowed down this time. She lay down on her stomach him still inside her. She turned her head so they could kiss.

Before the hour was up, they had tried many positions: Face to face, Sara on top, you name it, they tried it.

Sara lay snuggled in his arm’s afterwards. Drenched in sweat and completely sated.

“You’re right.” He drawled slowly.

“About what?” Sara answered.

“How happy I am now that you are in my life.” He kissed her forehead..

Sara thought back to the day he admitted to himself and her that he cared. That he wanted to try.

SIX MONTHS BEFORE

“Whatever! I’m going home. You asked me what I thought. I told you and now you want to argue about my theory.” Sara threw up her hands and left the room. “Don’t bother me with this case again.” Those were her parting words.

He had been playing those kinds of games with her for years now. Each time hurt a bit more. Pushing back tears, she got in her car and headed home.

After arriving home, she got her mail, checked her messages (none), and took a shower. She pulled on a tank top and a pair of shorts with BABY GIRL wrote across the rear. She made her way back into the kitchen to cook some breakfast.

There was a knock on the door. Soft at first then more insistent.

Checking the peep hole, she spotted him. Pulling the door open, she asked harshly, “What do you want?”

“I’m sorry, Sara.” Grissom said all the while not taking his eyes from hers. “Please let me explain a few things.”

She turned and walked back into her kitchen. She turned abruptly and caught him checking out her ass.

“Like what you see?” She figured she might as well have some fun.

“Yes.”

His answered made her turn around and look at him again. “Excuse me?” She stammered.

“I like what I see. Always have.” He walked toward her and put his hands on her face. “I’m tired of fighting you, Sara. I still am not sure exactly what to do about us, but you said you did. So I am willing to let you show me.”

He bent his head forward and placed his lips upon hers. Little kisses turned into something more passionate. He felt tears mix with his beard. He pulled back.

“What’s wrong? I’m too late, aren’t I?” His face fell.

“Not to late. You could never be too late. I just never expected this from you. I can make you happy if you just let me in.”

He looked at her. His blue eyes laughing, “I have been quite the jerk, haven’t I?”

“Not a jerk. Just slow.” Sara said as she kissed him again.

“I’m ready to let you in.” He told her honestly.

She took his hand and led him to her bed. “Are you sure about this, Sara?” He asked before closing the door.

She answered him by kissing him. She placed his hands on the hem of her shirt. He removed it slowly. He got lost in ever bare patch of her skin.

She removed his shirt. She placed feather-light kisses on his bare chest.

“Sara.” Grissom couldn’t utter another word. He removed her shorts. She unbuttoned his pants only to be stopped before pulling them down.

“Lay down, Baby Girl. My Baby Girl.” He whispered in her ear.

She obeyed. He removed his pants and shoes and joined her on the bed. He started kissing her from her toes and worked his way upward. He nibbled her thighs. He placed his fingers in the band of her panties and worked them down until they were off. He picked back up kissing her thigh.

He worked his way to her center and slowly flicked out his tongue. He touched her little bundle of nerves. She raised her hips to meet his tongue. He was slow at first, then he began going faster. Her fingers tangled in his hair. He made her cum hard just by using his tongue.

“God, Gil.” She moaned as the pleasure drove her over the edge. He began kissing his way up her body. First her belly button, then higher. He removed her bra and began licking and sucking first one nipple then the other. Then finally, he sought out her lips again.

“You taste so good, Sara.” He murmured. She could feel him hard against her thigh. “I want you so bad.

“Take me.” She encouraged.

He slowly slid into her. He moved slow with in her. Committing every moment to memory. They climbed and clawed their way from passion to pleasure. There was nothing hurried about their first time together. He made her orgasm so many times, she lost count after three.

He sped up as he felt himself near release. “Cum with me, Baby Girl.”

They orgasmed together. A mass of tangled limbs.

Holding her close, he kissed her ear. “I love you.”

“I love you too” Sara whispered before succumbing to sleep. The deepest sleep she’d had in a while.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

“Sara? Sara?” Grissom was saying as she pulled herself back to the present.

“Where were you?” He questioned.

“Thinking about our first time.” She sighed happily.

“I love you, Baby Girl.” He said kissing her lips.

“Blue Eyes, I’ve loved you from the moment I met you.” She told him.

Sara was preparing them no-meat spaghetti with the ingredients he had packed for this trip. He was sitting on the counter. He just liked to watch her.

“Sara, I’ve been meaning to ask you this for awhile now. How do you get Greg to behave when he works with you? He drove me crazy the other night.”

“Greg and behave don’t belong in the same sentence.” Sara said with a laugh.

“But you never complain.” He quipped.

“Why should I? Greg is, well, Greg.” Sara said as if that should explain it.

“Oh. You know he started an argument with me the other day over the new Harry Potter book. I haven’t even read the first one. I had no idea what he was talking about so I tried to humor him and all. He just go to be to much when he wanted to act out a part in one of the books with me. I told him to grow up.” Grissom told her glancing up at the fly paper hanging about the back screen door. It was covered in flies. “That is a real crime.”

Sara glanced up to see what had gotten his attention. “Grissom, not everyone loves bugs the way you do.”

He got a chair and stood and removed the horrid fly paper and threw it in the waste can. Sara just smiled and rolled her eyes.

“Did I tell you that my patent came through?” Grissom asked. His eyes all a twinkle.

“No. The one for the print powder?” Sara asked while stirring the sauce.

“Yeah. They seemed to like it really well.” He loved inventing things.

“What color did you decide on?” Sara questioned.

“I went for charcoal gray. You know blank is standard, but it was close enough that they didn’t belly ache about it.” He had been standing at the sink. She’d heard him turn the water on and off a few times.

“Oh, Sara!” Grissom taunted.

“Grissom, supper will never get done if you don’t leave me alone.” She turned to face him. He held up a green water balloon. A teasing look upon his face.

“Gilbert Sebastian Grissom, if you throw that thing at me, no sex for a long, long time.” She threatened.

“You lie.” Grissom advanced on her around the counter. She went the other way. He darted back the way he came. He was trying to block her path. She decided to try to go over. She was on the counter and half across when he caught her around the middle and drug her back to him. He squeezed the balloon over her head. Drenching her.

“You are in for it now.” She stared at him anger flashing in her eyes. Leaning forward toward the sink, she picked up a blue one and popped it over his head. Soaking him.

“You little….” Grissom started.

“Watch it.” Sara warned.

He loved it when her eyes took on that color. He pulled her mouth to his. Kissing her hard. She wore only his shirt. No panties. Nothing underneath. He knew this. He pulled her to the edge of the counter. Kissing her still.

She pulled his pants down with one hand while kneading the flesh of his ass with the other hand. He entered her. Hard. She screamed out his name.

They had sex right there on the kitchen counter. Him standing. Her sitting. It didn’t matter. Nothing ever mattered when they were together like this. Life didn’t exist anymore. Only them and the love the shared with one another.

When they were through, they noticed that the pasta had boiled dry. It was stuck to the pan. “I guess we have to go out to eat.” Grissom said dryly. “There is a town about a mile or so down the road I think.”

After showering and getting dressed, they got back in the Jeep and headed up the road. The next town had nothing. So they kept driving. They found a town with a nice seafood restaurant. It was called Catch of the Sea. Live music was pouring from inside as the walked up the steps leading inside the building.

“Sounds fun.” Sara said taking Grissom’s hand.

They got a small table near the stage. The group played anything from blues to hard rock. They were really enjoying themselves. They placed their orders. A song that Grissom had always enjoyed came on.

He stood next to her, “Dance with me?”

She took his hand. The song was unfamiliar to her, but sexy. He pulled her to him on the dance floor and spun her away. He pulled her leg up. He spun her out again. Sara was getting dizzy but loved this side of him. He rarely let it out and when he did, she went with it. They moved together like they had been born to dance with each other.

The other patrons clapped and whistled when the song was finished. It was more for them than the band. They had really put on a show. A slow started to play and Grissom held her tight. The song ended and they walked back to the table.

“Sara, please excuse me but I must use the rest room.” He kissed her cheek before walking toward the back of the restaurant. She sat at the table and listened to the band. They were playing blues now. Sara loved the Blues.

“Excuse me, Miss.” A voice interrupted her thoughts. He sat down in the seat across from her. She looked up and nearly fell out of her chair. It was Luke Wilson. She almost choked on her water. She took her napkin and wiped her mouth.

“I saw you sitting alone and decided that you are too pretty of a girl to be all alone.” He said before she had a chance to talk.

“I’m not alone.” Sara corrected him. He must’ve missed their little dance number. “He went to the restroom.” Grissom would be livid when he returned and he was still sitting there.

“My name is Luke.” He acted like he hadn’t heard a word she said.

“My name is Sara. My boyfriend is going to be upset when he sees you are sitting in his chair.” Celebrities annoyed Sara. They thought the world should bow down to them just because they had their faces plastered on the TV and movies.

“Wouldn’t you rather go back to my hotel than be stuck here with that old man.” He reached and took her hand.

Grissom had been watching the exchange from across the room. He was upset. What was that man doing sitting in his spot? At his table with his Sara? His Sara.

“What is going on here?” He asked her.

“Nothing. I told him to get lost but he doesn’t seem to understand English to well.” Sara removed her hand from his and stood. She placed her hand on Grissom’s shoulder. She knew he was upset. But was it with her?

“I would advise you to get lost.” He told the man. He had no idea he was a movie star only that he was sitting with her. And that he had touched her. He couldn’t stand the thought of another man’s hands on her. Even if Sara didn’t welcome it.

“Let’s go, Sara.” Grissom held her hand and led her to the door.

“But we haven’t eaten.” Sara tried to get him to stop, but once he was this mad there was no talking to him until he calmed down.

She let herself be lead to the Jeep. She climbed in without a word. He slammed her door and walked around and got in and slammed his also. He started it up and didn’t even look at her.

A couple of miles down the road, he pulled the Jeep over and got out. He was disgusted with himself for the way he had reacted. She choose to be with him. Why had he done it that way?

He walked slowly to her side and opened her door. He knelt down on the ground beside her. That is when he noticed the tears. His heart broke. “I am so sorry, Sara. I acted like a jerk.” He had her in his arms then. He was sobbing.

She put her arms around him and they cried together. “I thought you were mad at me. I didn’t want him there, Gil. I only want you.”

“I know that. I have to work on my temper and my jealousy. I don’t know what came over me, but I promise you it will never happen again.” He told her as he tilted her eyes to meet his.

She knew he was telling the truth. “Okay. You’re forgiven, Blue Eyes. But I am still hungry.”

He laughed softly. “Let’s go back.”

Sara nodded her head slowly. “We forgot to pay.”

“I forgot. See what my jealousy does to me?” He kissed her and returned to his seat. “Let’s go back. Get our order to go. Maybe they haven’t thrown it out yet.”

The rest of their little mini-vacation went by without anything major happening. He made it up to her by staying in bed with her the rest of the time.
