AN – More angst coming up, one day I’ll write something happy, and speaking of writing the sequel to Communication is nearly finished

Reason
When people die there is usually a reason.
Especially in the Pegasus galaxy, not necessarily something deep and meaningful but a cause at least.
Being culled and fed upon by the Wraith seems to be a common one, slightly less common but just as effective are ancient nano-viruses, old age after having lived ten thousand years in status, unstable power sources cooking alive anything in range…
And of course who could forget bullet wounds, not just the Wraith or even Genii but Sumner, Gall…
John fixed his eyes on the wall blankly but they would only show him one image.
The image of Rodney with a gun in his mouth and his brains splattered on the wall. Crossed with the look on Rodney’s face as John had mentally ordered the Transporter doors to close.
Rodney McKay had died.
There was a reason.
