"I can't believe you made me do this. He won't be here Catherine, I'm telling you. The man is as social as a hermit crab." Sara said biting into a raw carrot dipped in ranch.

"If Grissom doesn't come then I will never do his paperwork again. This house means a lot to Greg and he worked really hard to get it."

"Which is why I came, Catherine. And Sara thank you for the confidence." Grissom said standing in the doorway.

Sara's mouth dropped open. Not because he was there, although that was reason enough, but because of his outfit. He wore cobalt blue swim trunks, a matching buttoned down blue shirt, sandels, his Ray Ban sunglasses, with a big Corona beach towel over his shoulder.

"Yo Griss, glad to see you. Greg just threw the steaks on. I'm going to hit the pool. Catherine you coming?"

"Uh maybe later."

Warrick, Nick and Greg laughed, running in they hoisted Catherine and Sara over their shoulders and against the protests, launched both of them into the pool.

They were all high fiving each other when Sara and Catherine surfaced. But what shocked the bitterness off the girls' faces was Grissom. Walking up to the guys he handed each of them $10.

"You are good lads." He said with a grin.

"Wait a minute you PAID them to throw us in the water?" Catherine said still shocked.

"Faster than Gotti paid off Sammy the Bull."

Grissom laid on the lounge chair by the pool. Nick and Warrick cannonballed into the pool further soaking the soggy senoritas. Greg called everyone when the steaks were finished. Calling Catherine and Sara aside, he handed them the key to the poolhouse.

"My sister helped me pick out swimsuits for you. They are awaiting you in the poolhouse."

"Greg we have swimsuits, just hadn't changed before we were launched into the pool."

"Trust me, these are worth your time. Please?"

Catherine suddenly realized why he was insisting.

"Ok you're on." Grabbing Sara by the arm she yanked her to the poolhouse.

Both ladies changed quickly and headed back out to the grill. Sara had convinced Catherine to cover their suits till later. Revenge would be sweet.

Everyone enjoyed their steaks except for Sara who munched a large salad. Grissom had remained quiet but he rarely took his eyes from Sara when she wasn't paying attention. In fact, Grissom had sat in the lounge chair almost since he had gotten there. Greg had refilled Grissom's bourbon glass countless times, and it was amazing at how little he felt affected.

"Ok time to play my favorite game and I know you love it too, Twister!"

"Uh no Greg piped in Brass, who had arrived late."

"Come on you guys said that if I threw a party at my new house, anything went as long as it didn't involve body piercing or dying body parts."

Grissom from his chair surprised everyone. "We did agree. It could be fun. I'll play too."

Everyone looked at each other in shock. Then one by one everyone made silent grunts of approval to play. If Grissom could play, then no one else could back out.

After a roll of Greg's fuzzy dice, Sara was the designated first candidate. It was an easy right hand on red. Grissom was next with left hand on blue. And so it went. Brass fell first, Greg figured he outted on purpose to go talk to Doc Al. Warrick landed on Catherine and knocked her down. Greg who was beneath Sara slid and fell over. Amazingly Sara and Grissom remained upright. After Sara had to move her right hand to red and Grissom his left foot to green, he was wrapped over her, his groin pressed into her backside. The next move sent both of the CSI's sprawling. As Grissom moved his left hand to yellow, he smacked Sara's right arm and landed hard on top of her.

When she turned to look at him still firmly on top of her, his goofy smile indicated that he had knocked her down on purpose. Grissom helped Sara off the grass and headed toward the kitchen for a refill. On the counter he noted several bars of chocolate, a Snickers bar seemed to call his name. Walking back out the door, he noticed no one around. Thinking they headed to the pool, he made his way down the small stone path. He was still happily munching on his candy. A shot of water hit him right between the eyes. When he looked up Brass and Sara were hiding in the bush with super soakers.

"That's it, you guys want a war you got one!" Grissom yelled running after them. Sara locked herself in the pool house. Grissom chased Brass to the garden with the gun that Sara had dropped.

Both out of breath, Brass was ready to bargain.

"Ok time out, let me go and i will give you Greg's key to the treehouse in the back. Warrick and Catherine are waiting in there. This was their idea."

Grissom put down the gun and reached out his palm. Brass handed over the key. Taking the key, Grissom shot Brass in the face nearly knocking him over. Brass ran after him but twisted his ankle and slid in the grass. Laughing at victory Grissom took off. Hearing laughter from the house he walked back. Warrick, Nick, Greg and Doc Al were all horsing around in the pool. Looking around for Sara and Catherine he moved closer to the water.

"Hey guys where's-"

All of a sudden two strong pairs of hands were ripping at his clothes. Before he could fight back, he was thrown backward into the pool. A large splash wetting all the guys completely.

"Paybacks are a bitch Grissom!" Sara said giving Catherine her own high-five.

"And some things just get worse." Catherine said winking at Sara. Slowly and seductively Catherine and Sara began to remove the excess clothing over their bathing suits. Cath was decked out in a fiery red bikini and Sara's matched Grissom's trunks perfectly in blue. There wasn't a man in the pool that didn't have an erection.

Leaning over to Warrick, Grissom said, "Would you please look at that? I have had to battle that for five years. It's not right." "Your right Griss, it's all wrong in all the right ways." Warrick said unable to peel his eyes from Catherine's body.

The look on Grissom's face was all the payback Sara needed. It was a personal victory. Doc Al afraid he would be caught in a major orgy, took his queue from Brass to go watch TV in the house.

"Uh Greg, weren't we supposed to go on a beer run?"

"Yeah now is a good time."

Not a word was heard by Warrick or Grissom. Not wanting to give Grissom a heart attack, Sara opted to change in the poolhouse. Greg had given her the key. She quickly vanished. Grissom tried to be non-chalant but his exit was heartily noticed by Al and Brass. "Should we take bets on Sara's pregnancy?" Al said with a grin.

"I didn't know you were a gambling man, Al."

Grissom snuck up to the window of the pool house. He could see Sara sitting on a chair drinking from a bottle of Jim Beam. Not wanting to waste anymore time, Grissom entered the small wooden cabin.

"What are you doing here Grissom? I thought you were swimming."

"I don't take kindly to being drowned Sara." He moved dangerously close to her.

"This coming from the guy who paid his buddies to throw me and Catherine in still dressed."

"Hey everyday we have is one day more than we deserve. Robert Redford in Up Close and Personal."

Pushing her against the wall of the cabin, his face was less than a breath away from hers. She could smell the faint trace of bourbon on his breath. Her heart began to beat faster. He had never been this brave before, even in the lab when he pinned her down at her request.

"I'm going to make you soaking wet." With that he moved his lips over hers and pressed firmly. The hesitation she expected was crushed when his tongue greedily ravished her mouth. Hardly able to breathe she moved her body to push him back. Grissom strongly thrust his body into hers letting her know who was really the boss.

The moment might have gotten really intense if Nick hadn't opened the door to find his boss and comrade joined at the hip.

"Ah damn, sorry guys!" He stepped back horribly red.

From the porch Greg and Warrick high-fived each other. Poor Nick the loser of the bet again, had been forced to check the pool house.

Still blushing he said, “That must be the strangest thing I experienced in my life”

Grissom and Sara emerged from the door a few moments later. Neither one of them wanting to make eye contact with anyone. Knowing that Griss and Sara needed help getting over akward, Warrick and Greg called everyone into the house.

"All right guys, thanks to Warrick's connections, we have a real professional kareokee machine here. Everyone has to sing, no outs."

Everyone began to protest, when Grissom again shocked the crowd by cheering the idea on. Once again everyone had to participate. It took about half an hour before everyone could find a song, but Greg volunteered to go first. His rendition of "You Spin Me Right Round" was a riot.

Brass wowed everyone with his version of Bobby Darin's "Mack the Knife" Al sang "My Way" by Sinatra. Nick was next and decided on "All my Ex's Live in Texas" by George Strait.

Then it was Warrick's turn. After seeing Catherine in her swimsuit he was feeling lucky so he had no qualms about dedicating his song to her.

"This goes out to one of the two sexiest women at this party. I'd like to dedicate Sweet Lady by Tyrese to Catherine. Catherine not knowing what to expect, nearly cried at the words to the song. When he had finished he walked over to her and kissed her passionately in front of everyone. The crowd all cheered. But the moment was soon lost as it became apparent that Sara and Grissom were next. Sara opted for "Just a Little Bit More" by Liberty X. Everyone began to laugh as Sara played right into Grissom's indiscretions.

"Sexy, everything about you's so sexy

You don't even know what you got

You really hit my spot, oh yeah

And you're so innocent

Please don't take this wrong

Cause it's a compliment

I just wanna get with your flow

You gotta learn to let go

Baby won't you

Work it a little

Get hot just a little

Meet me in the middle

Let go just a little bit more

Give me just a little bit more."

As if Grissom wasn't more than full of surprises tonight, and still a little too much bourbon, he got up and moved to Sara. Placing his hands on her hips he began to move her erotically at his command. There was no question in anyone's mind that he had some well kept secrets. Sara was hardly able to believe what was going on, but she was so involved in the sensations of his hands that she moved with him. When finally the song ended, the crowd erupted into cheers louder than the Yankees beating down the Red Sox for the World Series. Catherine leaned over to Warrick and whispered.

"After that move, what in the hell is his going to sing?"

"I won't even pretend I know. This man is full of surprises."

"This song is dedicated to Sara and the rest of you who think that I can't be passionate. Hit it Greggo!"

"Hey little girl is your daddy home
Did he go and leave you all alone
I got a bad desire
Oh oh oh I'm fire

Tell me now baby is he good to you
Can he do to you the things I don't do
Uh-huh I can take you higher
IOh oh oh I'm fire

Sometimes it's like someone took a knife baby
Edgy and dull and cut a six-inch valley
through the middle of my soul

At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
and a freight train running through the
middle of my head and
Only you can cool my desire Oh oh oh I'm fire Oh oh oh I'm fire."

Finishing the song, he laid the mic on the coffee table and without a word sat back down. Sara looked at him and walked outside. Catherine was the first one to speak.

"Man and I thought Jack's rendition of Sexual Healing to Samantha was hardcore."

"Who are they?" Asked Warrick.

"Ah, just some friends of mine from the FBI in New York. Geez Grissom, maybe you should go see what she's up to."

Sara stood by the pool, her eyes capturing the reflection of moonlight on the water. She had chills. I'm on Fire had always been a favorite song of hers but coming from Grissom's lips, it tantalized her. She absent mindedly rubbed her bare stomach. The bikini top all that was covering her upper body. Cold chill bumps turned to blazing heat when two strong hands came around her middle. This was matched by his strong frame pulling her tightly into him. His kisses came tenderly on her bare neck. The touch was so innocent yet so erotic that Sara gasped.

"Grissom. I, sorry you know."

"Shh Sara, just let me kiss you, and taste this delicate skin. I wasn't lying, you light me on fire till I can't stand it."

She fell into her desires for him. Her arms reached up behind her and around his neck. He continued the kisses up and down her neck and shoulders. Finally he pulled her chin up to his angle and took of her lips. Pulling her over to the lounge chair he sat down and pulled her between his legs. His arms still grasping her possessively.

“If you look over there, you might be able to see Orion” Sara said trying to control her rapid breaths.

"The stars having nothing on you Sara, they only illuminate the delicacies of your flesh."

Sara laughed, never amazed at Grissom's gift for words. They sat out near the pool for what seemed like hours making out like a bunch of horny teenagers. By the time they realized how long they had been outside, Sara had bravely gotten her hand around Grissom's member. The feel of him beneath her hand was incredible.

"Come home with me after the party." He whispered kissing her ear.

"Ok"

She stood up and helped him up. They walked back hand in hand to the back door. What awaited them was a crazy game of spin the bottle.

"I'd rather be caught dead than kiss Ecklie!!"

"Ecklie?" Sara echoed walking in the door.

"Yeah, Greg said either I make out with him or we go to the lab and I kiss Ecklie!" Catherine said a little annoyed.

"Then lay one on my baby!" Greg said laughing.

It wasn't that Catherine was shy or put off by Greg, she just felt that it was cheating on Warrick. But he soon got in the middle of it and cheered her on. Catherine blushed.

"Well if Greg passes out from being kissed by a real woman, Grissom gets to do the CPR!"

Greg really didn't think she'd do it, but Catherine wasn't going to let him forget what spin the bottle with her was like. Not only did she pin him to the couch, he got the full tongue and her nails across his back. When she pulled back all Greg could do was blush. Everyone laughed. Greg smiled thrilled that everyone was having so much fun.

Everything had been fulfilled on Greg's wishlist for the perfect party. Warrick and Catherine couldn't keep their hands off each other and Grissom kept smiling at Sara like a lovesick schoolboy. Al and Brass had decided to go home. Catherine fell asleep on the couch in the den. Greg challenged Warrick and Nick to a game of John Madden's Sack Attack on Playstation. And Sara had yet to take full advantage of the swimming pool.

"Grissom?"

"Hmm?" He said dreamily from the recliner

"Ever been skinny dipping?"

Grissom turned to look at her with a surprised look on his face.

"Sara, this is Greg's house, and and I."

"Stop making up excuses, the boys are upstairs, and the pool is dark except for that little bug zapper light over the poolhouse."

When Grissom made no move to get out of the chair, Sara took desperate measures. Standing in front of him she slowly untied her bikini top and let it fall to the floor. Grissom's mouth dropped like a rock.

"Hey Greg, you gotta any Corona left down here? I can't find-"

Grissom put his hand over her mouth tightly. He then picked her up and hauled her outside. Greg came down talking to Sara who was nowhere to be found. Eyeing the swimsuit on the floor, he smiled to himself, locked the backdoor and joined Warrick and Nick in the upstairs den.

Sara and Grissom didn't even get into the pool. He made love to her by the pool, she screamed his name as he sunk deeply into her.His trunks thrown into the pool. He couldn't remember anyone he wanted so much. Just as he reached his breaking point, Sara began to lick his face.

"Oh honey, uh honey, uh Sara? Are you ok? Sara?"

"Grissom wake up! You have to get dressed or we are going to be late to Greg's pool party man."

Grissom awoke to see Warrick standing over him in his office. He had dozed off.

"Willow! Get off of Griss's face!" Warrick said yelling at his golden retriever puppy.

A moment later Sara appeared in shorts and a tshirt.A bottle of hair gel and a comb in her hand. Looking at the erection he was trying desperately to hide she teased him. This was going to be one hell of a party, thought Sara.

Noticing the case of beer on the floor, Sara laughed at Grissom's expense. Grissom now twelve shades of red tried to stand up. The over-zealous puppy wrapped his leash around Grissom's foot who fell backward. As Sara and Warrick left Grissom to calm down, Sara hollered back at him.

Are we dreaming or did we drink too much?”
