2)Must be GSR
3)an angst scene with the geeks
4)Stormy weather
5) another scene like the "pin me down" one or like the "tape me up" one!
6)Grissom hangs up on Eklie!
7)Grissom or Sara get sick
8.)Grissom gets tricked
9)Must be some humor
10) the last or first line must say either "You want me to WHAT?" or "Get off the table Greg."
"Get off the table Greg!" Grissom shouted at Greg over the mind blowing music of Metallica.
"Grissom, um hey I thought you were at a scene."
"Yeah I'm back so would you kindly quit jumping and dancing around with my Big Mouth Billy Bass tied to your rear-end! He is not a toy!"
Grissom grabbed his fish and went to his office. He was hot and sweaty from the Vegas heat and needed a shower. As he headed into the locker room he heard giggles coming from the shower room. Slowly he walked to the back.
He walked around the corner to see a shirtless Warrick and a nearly shirtless Catherine close together in the corner. Each time Warrick kissed Catherine's neck she squealed.
*Clearing his throat*
"Oh damn Gil, what the heck are you doing? You scared me to death!" A shocked Catherine pulled her shirt up off the bench.
"Don't you two ever get enough? I mean you've been engaged for two weeks and haven't been able to keep your hands to yourself the entire time. And why do I always have to walk in on you?" Grissom threw up his hands in disgust and opted to shower later.
As Grissom rounded the corner he ran into Nick, who was in obvious discomfort.
"What's wrong Nick?"
"Promise not to tell anyone?"
"Yeah what's up?"
"My date and I thought it would be romantic to spend some time in the woods. Well things got a bit heated and she started playing hard to get. I started chasing her and fell crotch first into poison ivy."
This final statement made Grissom squirm.
"Ouch. Have you seen a doctor?"
"Yeah, when he quit laughing, he gave me some cream and told me to use it for ten days. But it itches like crazy."
"All right take the night off. I'll call Sara in, she's been bugging me for more overtime anyway."
"Ah thanks Grissom. It's killer." Nick smiled while squirming.
Grissom watched him slink away and rolled his eyes.
"Must be a full moon." He said to himself.
He headed to his office to call Sara.
"Hey Sara, it's Grissom."
"Hey!"
"Nick hurt himself and I was wondering if you could come in tonight? No major cases, mostly follow-up."
"Yeah, only problem is my friend Alexis borrowed my car to go to work. Her car is in the shop." Sara said a little disappointed.
"No problem, I have to stop at a house on Freedom Drive to return a couple books I borrowed from a friend. I can pick you up after that."
"Cool, I'll be ready. See ya!"
Grissom sighed, might be a great night after all.
Grissom turned into the Riviera Apartments and pulled up to Sara's apartment. Just as he was getting out, he saw her walking down the stairs. She was a dream, tight black jeans, a navy blue sleeveless shirt and black Sketcher shoes. He loved that Sara could make even the simplest outfits look sexy.
"Man that sky is nearly black!" Sara said smiling at him.
"Rain's coming." He said mildly.
They both entered the Tahoe.
"Man I need some coffee. Mind stopping at the Java Junkie off Manetti Avenue?"
"Sure. I could use something strong myself."
Grissom pulled up to Java Junkie, he ordered a double shot whipped java bean for Sara, and a Amaretto Frappuccino for himself. As he was paying his cell went off.
"Sara answer that will you?"
Sara tried to pull the phone from his hip but couldn't get it to pop from the clip. What was worse, was her bracelet got caught in it and she couldn't get it lose. When Grissom looked at her, her face was down by his hip.
"Sidle" She answered his phone still on his hip.
At that moment the high school girl came to the window with his coffee. She noticed Sara but couldn't see what she was doing. Her eyes big with surprise as her hormone driven mind filled in what it thought were the blanks. As she handed the frappucino to Grissom, Sara jerked at her bracelet and the frapp fell all over her head. Ice cold coffee and whip cream running down her back.
"Grissom! What the hell?"
The girl at the window began to laugh. She apologized and went to remake his drink, while Grissom tried to free Sara and help her clean up.
"Sara just hold on. I'll get you free. Stop squirming."
The girl returned with his drink and more napkins. He thanked her and apologized. Slowly he rolled the Tahoe into a parking spot. Sara started to giggle.
"Why do you find this so funny?" Grissom asked a little annoyed.
"Because here I am in your truck, stuck on your belt, covered in cold coffee, and I am talking to Ecklie from your lap. How can you not find this funny?"
"Well perhaps because roping you to my lap is not how I envisioned our first time together."
Sara's mouth dropped open. Grissom didn't look up but knew he had opened the metaphorical door again. Finally freeing Sara, he slowly looked up. It was his turn to laugh, She had whipped cream all over here head and blouse and coffee dripping from her nose.
"What did Ecklie say?" He said trying to avoid his prior statement.
"You know that little town you found the headless body of that kid?"
"Jackpot?"
"Yeah, Ecklie got a request from the Sheriff for you to come up there, with your assistant. He said we will be up there for the weekend at least and to bring travel clothes."
"Lucky for me I keep a packed gym bag in the back. I guess you will need some clothes then, and a shower, Ms. Coffee Queen." He said with a smirk.
Sara grabbed the cup that had been dumped on her, it was still a quarter of the way full. Before he could stop her, she dumped the remaining contents down his shirt. Then she grabbed whipped cream from her sticky hair and rubbed it in his beard.
"Sara! You are evil, but revenge is the nectar of life and it is sweet. Just you wait."
"What are you going to do put ants in my bed?"
She looked horror struck at her own question. Realizing he could very well BE that devious.
Grissom drove back to Sara's apartment. He let her go in and shower and decided to run home and shower himself.
An hour and a half later washed, dried, clothed and packed, Grissom pulled the Tahoe onto the highway towards Jackpot. The clouds were becoming blacker, and Sara hoped they would be safe in the storm. The rain had already begun to fall, just a gentle drizzle.
Storms always made Sara nervous. She remembered when she was ten, sitting on the beach with her dog Patrick. A storm came out of nowhere and the lightening scared Patrick so he ran from her. The rain was so fierce that Sara tripped and rolled into the ocean water. The salty water was dark and violent. She thought she would drown. Luckily she was a good swimmer and crawled out. Patrick had ran home and was laying under the porch. Storms always reminded her of that day.
"Sara are you all right?"
His voice stirred her from the memory.
"Oh, I'm fine just watching the clouds."
"Good, than would you mind not squeezing my hand so tightly. The blood stopped circulating about ten minutes ago."
Sara hadn't realized that she had been lost in the memory. Gripping his hand was not a choice she had made consciously.
"Sorry, storms make me nervous is all."
"It will be fine. The Tahoe was made for bad weather, we have spare blankets in the back and should there be a flood, I can double as a flotation device."
Her laughter lit up the night. It was going to be enjoyable having Sara on the eight hour ride to Jackpot.
Two hours into the drive, Sara and Grissom stopped at an all night diner for some dinner. As they walked into Shaker's Truckstop, a familiar voice called out from behind.
"Hey Grissom, Sara."
It was Detective O'Reilly from Vegas.
"Detective, what brings you all the way out here?" Asked Sara.
"The Mrs and I just came from Salt Lake City. Our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary."
"Congratulations. Sara and I are headed up to Jackpot to work a case." Grissom said shaking his hand.
"Well we just got here ourselves, please join us."
Grissom was about to decline when Sara piped in that she thought it was an excellent idea. Sara slid into the booth and Grissom hestitatingly slid in next to her. O'Reilly introduced his wife Rosie to the two CSI's.
The waitress came to collect drink orders and then left again.
"I am so hungry. If I weren't a vegetarian I might eat an entire cow!" Sara stated to Rosie.
"Well my dear you are very healthy I can see that, but you need to eat." Rosie said sweetly and gripped Sara's hand.
"If I can't get her to eat, no one else can." Grissom said proudly.
"Oh since when do you care about what I eat?"
"Since I pinned you to the wall in the lab, and you couldn't fight me off." His eyes were dangerous.
She socked him in the shoulder laughing.
"I could take you. I was merely showing you what the victim did."
The waitress came back while Sara was explaining to Rosie about that particular case. O'Reilly ordered a mushroom, bacon burger for himself, and the Rueben for his wife with extra sauerkraut. Grissom ordered steak and eggs with pancakes.
"And for your lovely wife?" The waitress gestured to Sara with her pen.
Grissom could feel the heat creeping into his cheeks but he didn't want to embarrass the waitress. So he leaned over to Sara, who hadn't heard a word outside of her conversation.
"Sweetheart, what are you eating for dinner?"
He winked at Sara who was completely in awe.
"Uh, uh a large Caesar Salad with extra croutons. And a bowl of pasta fazul please." Sara managed to sputter out, never taking her eyes from Grissom's.
Dinner past happily, everyone laughing and telling stories. Sara ordered a piece of cheesecake. When she caught Grissom staring at it, she picked up a small piece with her fork and quickly put it in his mouth. His eyes wide with surprise. The rain began again and O'Reilly and Rosie decided to leave while they had the chance. The girls exchanged a hug and the guys handshakes while promising to drive safely. As O'Reilly pulled from the diner, Rosie smiled and said,
"Those two will be married within the year, I have a feeling."
O'Reilly laughed at his wife's romantic ideas.
"Yeah? Well Grissom moves slower than your mother."
"Oh you!" She laughed and leaned over to kiss his face. But in her gut she knew she was right.
Grissom and Sara left soon after. Grissom was hoping to make Elk Ridge before midnight. They were seventy-eight miles up the road when Grissom saw flashing lights. He pulled up and met the officer in his rain slicker.
"Sorry sir, you will need to take Columbus Avenue as a detour. Flood water washed out the bridge and we can't get it fixed till the rain lets up."
"Can I get back on the highway from there?" asked Grissom shouting over the thunder.
"Yes sir, it will be about twenty-five miles to the next exit but you will be able to get through."
"Thank you! Be careful out there." Grissom said as he rolled the window up.
He turned to see Sara trembling.
"Are you cold Sara?"
"No, I'm fine."
He smiled at her and continued his drive.
The next few minutes went on in silence as Grissom drove the backroad. Finally he turned the radio on hoping to calm her nerves. It took awhile but he finally found an oldies station, that while a little staticie was still nice. Grissom started to softly sing.
"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day. When it's cold outside, I got the month of May. Well I guess, you say, what can make me feel this way. My girl, my girl...."
Sara began to laugh when the Temptations hit the high note and so did Grissom.
"I've got so much honey, the bees envy me. I've got a sweeter song, than the birds in the trees....well I guess you say what can make me feel this way? My girl..."
Sara felt a little better and began to sing with Grissom. Then she looked ahead.
"GRISSOM, watch out!!"
Grissom swirved to miss the fallen tree. He was nearly clear when a loud thud lowered the backend of the Tahoe.
"What was that?" Sara asked as they came to a stop.
"I think a flat tire."
"Wonderful. Do we have a spare?"
"Of course Sara. I wouldn't travel this far without it." Grissom said.
"Well let's check it out."
Before Grissom could stop her, Sara hopped out of the Tahoe. She slid down into the mud and into the gully. The current of the water was strong.
"Sara! Damnit Sara, hang on!"
He raced to the fallen tree and ripped a branch from it. He could hear Sara screaming. Quickly he raced to where he had left her. She was ten feet further. He ran downstream past Sara, the rain was blinding. Grissom quickly threw the branch into the middle of the water.
"Sara when you get down here, grab the branch!"
The current was strong and he was having a hard time hanging onto it. When Sara came down the water swept her past the branch but she managed to grab a rock.
"Hang on Sara. We need more weight!"
"OK hurry Grissom!"
Grissom ran back to the Tahoe and grabbed a twenty foot rope. Again he ran downstream from Sara to a large tree. Tying the rope strongly to the tree, he tied the other end around his middle. Then he plunged into the water after her. He loosened the slipknot around his middle and then tied Sara to him. As he suspected the current dragged them as soon as she let go of the rock. Grissom's tree knot held firmly and they were able to climb up the bank. When the rope was back in the Tahoe and they were safely inside, Grissom became angry.
"Sara what were you thinking? You know better than anyone, you case the situation before jumping into it. You could have drowned!" Sara was ready to protest and fight back, when she realized how badly he was shaking.
"You were really scared weren't you, Grissom?"
"Sara, you and I may share many differences, and our relationship has never been normal, but I never want to lose you." He said a little defeated.
She smiled and then sneezed. He realized quickly that she was freezing.
"Sara, you're freezing. You need to get out of those wet clothes."
He suddenly realized that the bag he had dropped on the ground outside the Tahoe was their spare clothes. He had been in a hurry to get the rope.
"I'm afraid that our spare clothes are wet, but if we stay in these clothes we'll get hypothermia. We are going to have to strip down to our undergarments and get under the blankets. Stay here a minute."
Sara was cold but the thought of being half-naked in front of Grissom put a fire to her innards. Grissom slowly got out of the driver's seat and hurried into the backseat. He reached over and grabbed the two blankets from the back.
"Sara you need to remove your clothes than come back here. I promise not to peek."
"Grissom stop acting like a little boy. If we have to get naked to keep warm then you'll have to peek eventually."
The thought of Sara naked with him alone in the Tahoe, made his skin heat up to volcanic temperatures. But he could tell she was removing clothes and so he began as well. He had forgotten that he had worn his silk cobalt blue boxers. He felt a little embarrassed. But nothing could have prepared him for what came over the front seat.
Sara in her purple Victoria's Secret lace panties and matching bra was his dream come true. He couldn't say anything but his body did the talking for him.
"Nice boxers Grissom. I always thought blue was your color."
It wasn't the color she had been impressed with but the gradual rising from the center. All in all he was the sexiest man her dreams could conjur up.
"They say body heat is the best blanket of all, so you going to share the blanket with me, Grissom?"
The image of her was still a bit overwhelming. Before he could answer her, she laid on the open blanket on the back seat. Her knees bent to allow him the spot he was kneeling on in front of her. Wanting to pay him back for yelling at her, she non-chalantly parted her legs, just enough to drive his already aroused member crazy.
"S-Sara, please." His voice was a whisper and his desperation was apparent.
The rain was pouring harder than ever.
"Grissom go with your feelings. Stop fighting me." With that she stroked his bare side with the top of her foot.
Maybe it was the storm, or the distance he had always put between them, maybe it was the silk and the lace, or just something a man and a woman will do when left alone but the storm was nothing compared to the growing heat inside that SUV.
Just as he was about to lean down his cell phone rang.
"Damnit! Grissom."
It was Ecklie
"Conrad I would love to talk to you but Sara and I are stuck in a storm. Send people to help."
"Gil, you are breaking up. What are you doing to Sidle?"
The phone went dead and not a moment too soon. Grissom pulled the last security blanket from the emergency kit in the back. Wrapping it over he and Sara, he finally let his weight pin her to the seat. Soft slow kisses lit the night. She bit into his neck as he took her body. Sara was finally his. It seemed the storm grew worse with every plunge he took into her.
"Grissom, baby, I've wanted you like this for so long. Kiss me." The breathiness in her voice created waves of dizziness inside of him. "Sara, just touching you is like reaching into the depths of heaven. I don't think I ever want to come back."
She bit into his neck again as she got close.
"Grissom, normally I love your quotes but right now I don't want you to be nice. Just let it all go!" Her words sent chills up his already feverish skin. With a tone of evil he said slamming into her.
"Sara Shana Sidle, you are such a bad girl and I am going to teach you what bad girls get as punishment. I am going all the way in and don't you dare scream or it's going to get harder!"
With all his might Grissom locked her wrists beside her head, pulled himself out all the way to his tip. Then before the final thrust he smiled that Grissom smile and with all his strength, made Sara his. Sara swore that she was seeing stars. She had never fell such a sharp explosion of ecstacy in her life. Grissom slumped on top of her his heart slamming into her chest. Laying his head on her chest he closed his eyes.
"I love you, Sara. No woman has ever made me feel such uncontrolled passion before. You were amazing."
"I can't take all the credit, that evil Grissom side had definite potential."
He blushed slightly, helped Sara and himself into their undergarments and fell asleep with Sara tightly curled next to him. The storm still raging outside but the six year storm had finally turned to rainbows.
Grissom awoke to a knock on the window. Opening his eyes he saw just how bright it was. Finally able to see his eyes landed on a happy graveyard crew. Catherine, Nick, Warrick, Greg, and Brass all stood huddled around the door. Everyone had goofy grins. Sara was still sound asleep next to him. Gently he rocked her till she woke up. She moaned softly and before he could dodge she pulled her down to him for a heart stopping kiss. The crowd outside the SUV erupted into thunderous cheers. Sara dived under the blanket. Grissom chuckled. Then he gave Catherine a look.
"Uh guys let's give them some room here." Catherine said pushing everyone back.
After ten minutes Grissom and Sara emerged from the stranded vehicle. Looking like two teenagers busted in the act, they got into Catherine's Denali. A tow truck there to take the Tahoe back. Looking at Sara, Grissom said to her,
"You interested in getting a frappucino?"
Sara erupted into laughter and laid her head on his chest. And then they both sneezed together. Smiling Grissom kissed Sara's forehead and winked at Catherine who was gaping from the front seat through the rearview mirror.
"That's the last time I trick you into taking a road trip with me. Catherine tell Ecklie I said thank you."
Grissom finally getting it looked into her loving eyes.
"Frappucinos, full moons, storms, and the best sex of my life. All road trips should be that good."
The blush from the front seat lit up the last of the cloudy skies.
