Friendship on Fire

Chapter One

Brooke sat on her bed feeling lonely as usual. Even though it was a long time ago, she still hasn’t gotten over the fact that her best friend betrayed her like she did. She didn’t understand what she had done to deserve pain like that. Her heart still ached even though they had made their amends.
The thing that hurt her the most was the feeling that Lucas didn’t want her anymore. Sure, they were good friends, but she wanted so much more than that. She wanted him to love her. She knew that they were meant to be together. They just had to find their way. Just then, she heard a knock at the door.
“Come in,’ she said. It was Lucas. “Well, speak of the devil; I was just thinking about you Broody.” She looked into his beautiful blue eyes. If only he looked at her the same way. She looked at his lips. She wanted them on hers so badly.
“Yeah, same here,” He replied “Listen, uh, I need to talk to you about something”
“Sure what is it?” she said “You know you can tell me anything”
“Yea, uh, do you remember when I screwed up really bad with you with all that Peyton drama?”
“How could I forget?”
“Well, I just wanted to say again that I’m really sorry, and that I really regret what happened between us.”
“Yeah, me too.” He sat back down on the bed and curled her knees up to her chest. “You really hurt me Luke. And I don’t mean crushed, I mean, you broke me, and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. But now it’s a real relieve, because I know that we’re just friends and I won’t be hurt like that again. I thought for a little while there that you were into me and I don’t think my heart’s ready for that yet.” She felt her voice become shaky.
“Brooke, that’s what I came to tell you.” He stepped towards her.” I want to be with you Brooke.”
“What?” She takes a step back.
“I know we’re just friends, but that’s how I feel. I can’t change that.”
“I don’t know what to say….” She says
“Then don’t.” he said as he pulled her towards him.
Lucas kissed her like he had never kissed anyone before. Brooke felt the passion pour out of his lips into hers. She pulled back, but he still held her in his arms. She wished she could say like this forever.
“I don’t think I can do this Luke I …” she started.
“Please, just listen Brooke,” He begged, “I love you with all my heart and I want you with the rest of me. I want to be with you”
“What about Peyton’s stuff I found in your closet, Luke, you have to have kept it for a reason.”
“Brooke, I kept that stuff as a reminder of how bad I messed up. We really had something back then. I’d do anything to get that back.”
“Come here,” She said as she kissed him deeply.
As they kissed, he backed her up against the wall and kissed her even deeper. She could feel her legs go weak as he moved his lips down to her neck. She had wanted this for so long, and now she could have it.
She moved her way over to the bed, without even daring to take her lips off of his. He lied on top of her pressing himself against her.
She took off his shirt and kissed his chest as she unbuttoned his pants. They turned over and she sat on top of him and kissed her way down to his boxers. Lucas brought her back up to kiss her again. She reached into his pants to stroke his hard member.
She listened to his moans as she went down to put it where it belonged at the moment. The moans got even louder as she moved her head up and down. She felt him slid his hand up her skirt to rub her wet clit. She paused long enough to take off her shirt and expose her breasts.
As he slid her skirt off, she turned over and brought him to her. She was horny as hell and she could tell that he wanted it just as bad. He kissed her neck as he slid it in. He thrusted harder and harder and they kissed deeper and deeper.
He looked deeply into her eyes and said” I love you so much!” She looked back and replied “I love you too.”
She moaned and moaned as he pumped faster and faster. Finally, they let out one loud moan together as they climaxed.
They lied there together for a while just soaking up what had just happened. She was more relaxed than she had ever been before just lying in his arms.
Luke turned and kissed her on the forehead “That was amazing Brooke”
“Yeah, that had to be the best I’ve ever had.” She hesitantly replied.
“No, not just the sex, you told me that you loved me. I’d take that over sex any day.”
“You know Broody, I would too.” She said “Just Promise me you won’t break my heart again.”
“I won’t, I promise I’ll never hurt you like that again.” He said. Then he kissed her head sweetly and they drifted off to sleep.
