PART ONE
I remember when i first saw her, yeah ok i was only about 15 but something felt right then, i didn't know it was because i fancied her, i just felt like the best when i was with her. I suppose i fell in love with her and i suppose that's why i'm feeling how i'm feeling now. Actually change that, i might not love her but i know that i want her, real bad. She's just gorgeous, i-
Oh shit she's coming over. I have to close this book really quickly, there is no way i can let her see this. I close it and put it on the table, trying not to look embarrased. She doesn't seem to notice the book as she comes over. I put it into my bag quickly.
"Hiya, i saw Kirsty earlier, has she really dropped out of school?" She asks me
Oh god she looks hot. Her blonde hair draping over her shoulders, that perfect smile, those lips, mmmm... I look back up at her eyes and notice that she was expecting an answer
"Er, yeah, sometime last week" I say, trying to sound normal
"Yeah, well tell her i hope everything goes ok" She says
"Yeah i will" I say
"Just wondering, are you going over to the surf club?" She asks me
"Yeah, wanna walk over?" I say
"Ok, sure" She replies
I get up and walk next to her, heading in the direction of the surf club. All i can think about is how i want to hold her and never let her go. I sort of know it will never happen but hell, i've had this crush on her for ages now, it's turned from months into years, i'm going to be 19 soon for heavens sake, you'd think i'd get over it. While we're walking she starts talking to me again, i'm completly in a trance. She stands there looking at me, questionally. I realise she must have asked me something but i couldn't really care less.
"Dani" She says "Snap out of it"
"Yeah, sorry,i was just thinking" I reply
"About what?" She asks me
"It doesn't matter" I say
"No, come on tell me" She says
"No it really doesn't matter" I protest
"Ah, remember that whole 'no secrets thing?' She asks me
And then she flashes that trademark grin, the one that makes me go weak at the knees and forget there's actually life around me. She suddenly reaches down and grabs my bag, oh god, she looks like she's about to look in it. I can't let her find the book, so i decide to answer her earlier question, hoping she'll return my bag to me
"My crush ok, i've got a crush" I say and then reach out for my bag
