Love At Last Part One

Jason/OC Pairing, also features Tommy/Kim, Kira/Dustin, Connor/Cassidy, Cam/Tori

EAST TAWAS, MI

Jason sat in the corner of a bar drinking a bottle of beer thinking about the
past and his dead wife. 'Trini I wish I was the one who had died' Jason thought
with tears flowing out of his eyes.

Jessica slowly, tiredly walked into her mothers favorite watering hole. she
was tired from working long hours at her work. her long brown hair fell limp
around her face. The place was semi crowded, she walked to a corner where a
large burly man sat drinking a beer, with tears coursing down his face. Feeling
a pang in her heart she walked over to him.

"Is this seat taken?" Jason heard a young womans voice ask. He looked at her
and saw a small, pretty Brunette, with wavy brown hair and Crystal Blue eyes
looking at him in concern. She also had freckles all over her face. She was
pointing to the seat next to him. "it is now" He replied then looked back down
at his beer.

Jessica sat down with a slight laugh. Her heart broke at seeing the
heartbreak in his gorgeous brown eyes. 'poor man, but What a Hottie' Jessica
thought. "What can I get you to drink Jessie?" the bartender asked "A Strawberry
Daiqueri" Jessica tiredly replied and showed him her I.D. A couple minutes
Jessica's drink sat infront of her and she paid for her drink.

"mind if I ask you something?" the womans voice asked. Jason turned to her
"go ahead" Jason answered "I know it is none of my business but why are you so"
Jessica paused trying to find the right word. "Heartbroken?" Jessica finished.
Jason sighed trying to decide if he should answer, he never talked about his
wifes death to anyone. "My wife died in a car wreck two years ago" Jason
answered softly.

Jessica felt sad for him. "I'm sorry" Jessica said just as softly. Then she
lapsed into silence and slowly started to drink her Daiqueri "My name is
Jessica" Jessica introduced herself "I'm Jason" he answered. Jessica grabbed a
napkin and wrote down her address, phone number, and e-mail address. and handed
it to him. "If you need someone to talk to thats how you can reach me.

Jason felt some connection with her so he did likewise, and handed it to her.
Jessica put it in her pocket, finished her drink than left. after a quick
Goodbye to Jason. The Bartender gave Jason a look, that said 'don't you hurt
her' Jason nodded in understanding
