That mound of paperwork, on his desk, never seemed to get any
smaller. His mind was clearly distracted, thinking about the
events of the past few weeks, and a certain golden blonde
haired, blue-green eyed, beauty who had entered his life, at a time when he thought solitude was to be his only lot in life.
Lost in thought, he didn't notice she stood there smiling at him,
wondering what had him so distracted. "Penny for your
thoughts," Alex pried into his daydreams.
"Hey darlin', how long have you been standing there," Grissom
came out from behind his cluttered desk, to greet his lady
properly. He didn't care if the whole lab was standing there
watching, he was happy for the first time in a long time, and no
one or nothing was going to stop him from enjoying the one
person his heart belonged to. "I was thinking of you," he
captured her lips with his kiss, and had no intention of stopping
until neither one of them could breathe.
"Uhm...is that a preview of attractions to come," her hands were tangled in the salt and pepper curls found at the back of his neck, She gazed intensely into his deep blue eyes, seeing the flames of his desire clearly displayed there. The longer she peered into his eyes, the emotions that were found there, went so much deeper than merely desire. She saw love.
"Only if it's what you want. I'd never presume to force myself on you, Alex. I'll never do anything to hurt you, I care too deeply for you, to cause you any pain," Grissom's fears poured out in his words. The last thing he wanted to do was risk losing the best thing he ever had.
"Gil, don't, You don't have to do this. I know how you feel about me. I'm not letting you go. I love you. Now when can you get out of here," she had waited patiently for the past six weeks,
and she had no intention of waiting any longer. She wanted him badly, and she meant to have him, everything about him turned her on.
"Let's go. Where did you want to go, by the way," he wasn't sure what she had in mind, but, he was willing to wait and see.
"That depends on where you would be more comfortable, your place or mine," she whispered into his ear, letting her hot breath caress his flesh. She nibbled on his earlobe, while she waited
for his answer.
"You keep doing that and we won't make it out of here," Gil pulled her closer to him, wanting to feel her warmth against him.
"Well, Baby, if you want to we can do this right here on your desk," Alex could feel his arousal protruding into her abdomen, it was fueling her fire, which was burning brighter than she thought
was possible.
Grissom looked around, the part of the lab that he could view from where they stood, everyone was watching them, it made him pull away from her. He regretted doing that the second he
moved away, aching for the warmth that radiated from her body into his. "We should go, we're attracting an audience."
"My car is in the parking lot. I'm driving. My garage is calling her name to be tucked in." Alex drove a classic muscle car and she treasured it like it was her child.
"I guess we're going to your place, then," putting his hand at the small of her back, he led her out to her car. "I'd be happy to drive."
The look he got from her told him that she would be driving. No one drove her car but her. No one touched her car without her permission. It was the one obsession she had, other than him,
and she was clearly obsessed with him.
"Do you have to turn that up so loud," it wasn't that he didn't like the music she chose to play, he couldn't hear himself think, and that he didn't like.
"I'm sorry, I should think of those things," she reached over and turned down the music.
"It's okay, I just thought we could talk," Grissom was actually nervous. He had never been to her house, and the closer they got to the exclusive community, with it's walled in houses and security guards, he found he wasn't sure this is where he wanted their first time together to be.
"Gil, if I didn't know better I'd say you were nervous. What's the matter, darlin'," she had reached over and put her hand on his thigh were she could feel his muscles clinch.
"It has been a long time since I've done this, you're so beautiful and I'm afraid that I won't measure up to your expectations," he put his hand over hers, feeling how soft and warm her skin
was, he wanted to feel more of her warmth. His fears were lessening.
"I thought you were worried about forcing yourself on me, and here you're really worried about my being disappointed," she wanted him so badly, there was no way he could disappoint her.
