A noise that rattled his nerves woke Daniel from a dream filled state. He bolted upright in his bed looking around. Darkness surrounded him as his eyes adjusted. He focused his hearing in effort to catch more disturbances. Nothing. He tossed the thin sheet that covered his lower body and slid from the bed still half sleeping. Rubbing his scalp with a yawn he walked down the hallway to the kitchen. He saw the broken remains of a ceramic mug on the floor. His heart sank. It laid scattered in several large pieces. He bent down and retrieved the remains with a sigh. He looked at the drainer the mug hscapscaped from. He wasn’t sure if he had placed it inside the ner ner or the outside, and it no longer mattered. He smiled at the large white words ‘Archaeology-Can You Dig it?’ Cassie had given it to him for Christmas her first year on Earth. It was silly but he loved it. He still remembered her hopeful smile when he had unwrapped it. Now it lay on the counter in chunks. He yawned again and concluded he would attempt gluing it together in the morning. He made his way back to bed.

He rounded the corner to his room when he heard another noise. He froze and listened to the house. Nothing. He chided himself and continued back to bed. Then he felt it, although he wasn’t sure what it was, but he knew he wasn’t alone in the house. He cautiously moved down the hallway.

Soft cloth and a strong scent suddenly greeted him as a swatch of fabric encircled his face. He struggled at his captor who held tight. He grunted but it was no use. He moaned in frustration as he slid to the floor with a thump.

Daniel felt his senses returning and his head ached. His eyes opened slowly. His head cocked sideways arealrealized he was laying down. He lifted his upper body but he was not surprised when he couldn’t move, he was restrained, he had grown to expect it anymore. He looked to his left but was startled for he could only see a glass wall. His head moved the other way and the same result greeted him. He was enclosed in a glass case of some kind. It had no top though and he was slightly agitated that it might come with one and he just might see it.

He felt like he was in a glass coffin. His wrists were tied down but he took note that he could move his upper body; although he couldn’t see them he could feel his ankles were also restrained. Once again he had been relieved of most of his clothing. His boxers remained, but he wasn’t sure how long that would last. His body stirred at the thought of her and what had happened the last time he was tied down. Great, he thought was she overtaking his mind and body now?

“Hello?” heled led out. He strained to see the room. It looked vaguely familiar if that was possible. He knew though. It was the Oubliette. The singular light shone above, he was glad it was not overly bright; his eyes still were not able to focus properly.

“Sloane?” he tried calling out. He knew she was there hiding in the shadows watching him. Nothing. No footsteps, no answer. Louder this time: “Sloane?” Silence was all that replied. He sighed and looked at the ceiling overhead.

His feet suddenly felt cold. Wet? He strained to see his lower half but only could rise up just enough to see part of his chest and legs. Nevertheless he could feel it. Water now running over his feet. It slowly creeped under his body faster and faster someone was running water into the glass case. A watery grave is that what was going to happen now? He suddenly became more worried and less aroused.

“Hey!” he shouted as the water rose around him. It became warmer as though someone had adjusted the temperature.

The water now encompassed him. Only his face broke the surface of the watery casket.
His mind wondered. Was he wrong? Was this not Oubliette? Was he in trouble? He knew that was a possibility. There were countless factions of the govent tnt that would have no problem killing him.

He chuckled to himself. If he stayed in the water he would be an interesting sight to see all pruney and shivering from the water as it slowly became chilly again.

“I am glad to see you in good spirits.” a soft voice stated amused.

Daniel looked toward the sound. He had not heard her approach but it was she was standing just with in the reach of the light. She looked at him with a grin of mischief.

“I am pleased to see you again Daniel.” She said. “How do you like your bed?”

“Bed?” he replied but stopped short and she took a step closer. She dressed much as she had the first time he had laid eyes on her. A simple sheer lingerie gown of dark red complimented her frame, tied at her waist. Her flowing jet-black hair framed her dark skin. Her full lips were not colored and from what he could tell she wore no make-up. Not that she needed it.

She walked around him like a predator circling prey. “Fear is an interesting human response…it seems all humans fear something.” She told him “Do you know what the most common thing feared by humans is?” she asked him.

“No…” he replied arching to see her as she walked behind his head and out of his view.

She moved back into his view hovering over him. “The simplest of creatures…a creature that moves amongst the wild.” She told him as she held up a rather small garden snake. “Lovely isn’t he?” she asked.

Daniel nodded in agreement he was not afraid. He had no fear of snakes. Not this kind anyway.

“Most believe that this fear….this ancient primal withdrawal comes from something inherited through our ancestors,” she stated as the small garden snake wrapped around her hands. “It was a life saver in more ways then one for man in those days….now it is just a fear of something that they don’t understand.” She concluded “A shame really…” she disappeared from view once again. “On the other hand…” she remarked coming back into view “My friend here is why those fears can be supported.”

Daniel stiffened at her words. He had remained silent throughout her speech. He looked now at the larger snake she had. It was a constrictor that was wrapped around a metal poll instead of her hands. She walked to the other end and removed it from the poll and placed it in the water. He watched as it slithered along the surface making its ways along his body.

“He likes you” she smiled to him. He was not small like the first one. The muscles of its body displayed themselves as it crawled along. Its eyes met his as they came face to face. He came to rest on his chest curling into a ball.

Sloane approached Daniel and looked into his eyes “What does the good Dr. fear?” she wondered out loud.

Daniel looked at her with no answer. What did he fear? He didn’t know.

“I don’t think you fear death” she said “I see it in your eyes…it is as though you have walked that path and it no longer concerns you.” She paused moving once again and then arriving once more in his sight on the other side. “I think you fear control…” she said, “You want to control what happens because you are someone who needs to help. Help anyone, everyone, but you can’t…and it rips you up inside.”

Daniel said nothing. He watched the snake curled up on his chest. He looked at her unable to find his voice at that moment. Was she right?

Sloane smiled as she watched his facial expressions tear through her words. She suddenly moved to the end of the case and stepped on something that brought her to the height of the table it rested on. He watched as she stepped into the water with him. She crouched down and crawled up to him the water sloshing in her wake. She eyed the snake as it took notice of her presence. She gently pushed it aside and it slid into the water next to him. The water responded all around them as she situated herself on him straddling wai waist.

Daniel closed his eyes for a moment willing himself to resist. He opened them once more as she came within a hairs breath of his face. The customary smell of mint wafting from her.

“I know you don’t fear me Daniel..and this does not worry me in the least. I have not brought you here instill fear in you. I have brought you here for other reasons.”

“Why?” he asked, “To use me?”

She considered this for moment “No, my dearest Daniel, I don’t think you believe I am using you. You know this.” She reached into the water and gathered some in her palm she let the tiny droplets tease his face. “You know why you are here, you just have not reached the reality of it.” The droplets glided down his skin around his eyes. She wiped them away with ease and traced his lips with her fingers leaning over to greet them with her own.

He tensed still unsure. He didn’t know what she wanted from him. These encounters were mixed signals of tenderness and pain. He held his mouth tight in resistance at first as she licked them gently. He couldn’t staat wat way long. Her whole presence entranced him. She greedily explored his mouth with her tongue. Pulling away once more she slid the now wet garment from her shoulders and tossed it over the side. It landed on the floor with a wet plop.

She leaned back over taking his mouth into hers once more. He pulled at the restraints wanting more than anything to reach for her. To touch her skin, her breasts to pinch them and caress them with his fingertips, take them in his mouth, and relish them. Her eyes told him that she knew what he wanted and it excited her more.

The water moved around her again as she slid the length of his body to his waist. She watched him as she peeled the drenched garment from his skin as far as they would go. His cock now free greeted her aespoesponded to her touch. She took him into her mouth sucking and licking him relentlessly as she worked the erect muscle.

Daniel moaned in response. His body relaxing and letting her take over. She released him for a brief moment and he could feel water once again running over his feet. She had turned it on. The water rose around him. He gasped as it slowly rose over his face. She straddled him once more. Taking his cock inside her she watched him. His mouth disappeared under the surface as she picked up the snake and placed it once more on his chest. He held his breath and remained as calm as he could. He watched her from beneath the surface and she rocked on him not relenting. His fear had been aroused now. Would she let him drown as she climaxed? Would that be the uate ate orgasm for her?

He struggled some now for he was running low on air. The snake slipped back into the water from his wrenching. His upper body squirming under her as the last of the air ran out. He swallowed water as it rushed into his mouth as his gasped for air. Suddenly the water retreated and Daniel welcomed the air back into his lungs. The water stopped and a small amount remained around them.

Daniel looked at her with shock and anger. “Are you afraid now?” she asked him leaning over. He grunted as she nibbled his lip. His cock ached inside her now as she sucked his tongue and rose up then down on him. Her pace quickened almost in a hungered state as she took him deeper inside. She retrieved the snake from the water and held it over him. It began to coil around her hand and she winced as its muscles tightened around her arm. She gently removed it and placed it back on his chest. It slithered to his neck and coiled around him. He choked and tried to withdraw.

“Now, now little one..” she told it. “Lets not…” and removed it from his neck. It scurried back into the water and disappeared.

Sloane moaned and renewed her efforts. Daniel was now thrusting up as far as he could he wanted more, wanted to release. She quickened her pace arcing back and crying out. Daniel also felt his come as it built up inside him swiftly and he moaned as it flooded inside her at last. Sloane collapsed on him and rested on his chest. Daniel’s breathing slowly returned to normal. He closed his eyes. He was shaking but he wasn’t sure if it was from the water or from the whole experience.

She sighed with regret “It is time to go Daniel.”

He started to reply but she hushed him. “I know that you wonder why you must leave with such haste….I have my reasons.”

She climbed from the case the same way she had come in. As she stepped down and away from his view he laid his head back down. Moments later she reappeared wearing a dry robe. Her wet hair pulled up from her neck.

She gathered up the snake that had retreated to the far end of the case and soothed it with whispers. She came upon Daniel once again. “Don’t fight it” she advised and laid the snake back on his neck. It coiled around him cutting off his air. “It won’t kill you, only knock you out. Unless I let him that is you will loose consciousness soon” she said.

Daniel became lightheaded as the constrictor tightened around his neck. He eased into sleep as he watched her once more fade into darkness.

A noise once again teased his ears. Daniel jumped. He sat upright and looked around. His peered into the dark not quite grasping his surroundings his own bedroom reflected back. He groaned and scooted to the edge of the bed. His hands went to his throat it was sore. He got up and strolled to the bathroom flipped on the lights and went to the mirror. A red mark encircled it. It wasn’t glaring but noticeable as were the marks on his wrists he was sure they had twins on his ankles they would vanish soon he told himself. He was wearing dry boxers. Someone had redressed him. Curious he walked to the laundry room. The wet ones were lying neatly on top of the dryer. He sighed and returned to the bedroom.

His body ached from head to toe. He slipped back into the bed and under the sheet. He was exhausted. His mind raced his thoughts invaded by Sloane. Her smell, her taste, and what she showed and did to him. He sorted through the feelings at first but then he pushed them aside for the time being. He needed rest. Rolling to his side he closed his eyes once more succumbing to sleep.
