This is when Clark has run away to Metropolis because he can’t deal with loving Lana so, so much. They’re just soulmates!!!
Lana sat in the barn sadly and sang, “If I could turn back time, if I could find a way, Id take back those words that hurt you and youd stay.” She sighed wistfully. It was so true. And sad. But he was gone now. He had abandoned her.
But Lana didn’t know Clark was also crying, staring out the window in Metropolis, singing, “I dont know why I did the things I did I dont know why I said the things I said prides like a knife it can cut deep inside… Words are like weapons they wound sometimes.” Clark gave a small, sad whimper.
Clark didn’t realize Lana was crying now, singing, “I didnt really mean to hurt you I didnt wanna see you go I know I made you cry, but baby…

Id take back those words that hurt you
And youd stay
Clark Sang, “If I could reach the stars

Together, miles and miles apart, Clark and Lana both sang, “If I could turn back time…

You walked out that door I swore that I didnt care

“Oh Clark/Lana, I miss you.” They moaned.
