Chapter I - Old Feelings
Title: Turning the Witchly Paiges of my Life

Characters: Paige, Cole, Phoebe, Piper (pregnant with Wyatt), Leo, and other Charmed related Characters!
Summary: Semi-Alternate version of Sympathy For The Demon - What if Paige had succeeded in finally freeing Cole from the Demonic side for good, while destroying Barbas (the Demon of Fear) in the process. What happens when Cole’s still in Love with a witch, but this time things are totally different? How will the Halliwells deal with the new situation that occurs! While Cole still find away to destroy the Charmed Ones even if done unintentionally?

A/N: Paige has stripped Cole of his powers, but made a spell to banish the demonic energy to the wasteland forever in the process it transports Barbas there and destroy him for good. Paige has already broken the news to her family, who reluctantly accept the fact that he’s human.
COLE’S POV
I had to shimmered to the Manor, I know they didn’t want to ever see me again and hell- who could blame them! As I had time to reflect on things I figured if they couldn’t stop Barbas maybe they could destroy me once and for all. I’d miss being a part of the family not only my ex-wife, but all of them, and they’re the only real family I’d ever known. After I arrived Piper, Leo, and Paige were their but they let me plead my case. Leo sensed my sincerity and desperation yet neither of the sisters believed me. Thank God Paige eventually came around and saw I was telling the truth. I don’t know how but she freed me from evil and destroyed Barbas I felt a sudden rush of joy over take me and my heart skipped a beat I was free, and I had Paige to thank. I finally had an opportunity at a fresh start and way to make all the wrong I’d done right. I felt totally different this time - not like when Belthazor, or the Source were destroyed. In the past I felt my heart consumed by fire but this time I felt real emotions like when I was a child and didn’t have powers. So carefree, and uplifted. I basked in the pleasure of life, until I saw my ex-sister-in-law, and hero shake me back into reality!
“Cole” Paige ranted frantically, “Are you ok?”
“Yes…I am…Thank You!” I said, as she help me to my feet. The explosion that destroyed my powers and vanquished Barbas had sent me flying across the room.
“Well…how do you feel?” she asked cautiously with a anxious look on her face.
“Feel my chest!” I nearly shouted as I grabbed her soft hand placing it over my reformed heart.
“Oh My God…Cole you have a heartbeat!” Paige said smiling, realizing what had happened! We took time to calm down from our magical high, I was free from evil, and Paige had proven herself to be a true Charmed One. I didn’t care if Paige only assisted me for her own reasons all that mattered was that I felt whole. I then smiled as Paige orbed us into the attic, when we materialized she quickly locked the door not wanting her sisters to find out what occurred until she was 100% sure that the evil was gone.
The first thing Paige did was cast a protection spell around the manor:
Around the manor
I cast this spell
blocking all evil that is here
no longer to prevail!
As the spell finished I was still intact if I was evil I would have been blown up. Paige then unbound the spell and cast the Demonic Sight spell on the same glasses her sisters had used to find her, and save her from The Source.
Magic forces far and white,
Enchant these so those can’t hide
Allow this witch to use therein
So she can reveal the evil within
She then placed the glasses on to see nothing demonic in me, but yet she showed no emotions of joy since we started testing my humanity. That’s when Paige decided it was time for the ultimate test, time for me to touch the Book of Shadows! I remember the first time I did when I was evil and it shocked me I was afraid that my fear would be concern for the book to protect itself. I figured if I failed this test the next thing to be vanquished would be me! As I stretched my hands out to open the book, to our surprise it didn’t shock me. Paige told me that when she looked through the glasses at me as I touched the book she saw a golden ray appear around me which we took as a sign that everything had worked! After which she told me she would orb me home and bring me back once she told the rest of the family! And as Paige left all I could do is wait until I heard the news on what the rest had to say or think. I also had time to think about how to adjust to being a full human!
