Colonel Wilma Deering of the Earth Defense Directorate, was standing near the hole that had been made by the collision of a transport ship that had hit the station, Buck and the Station Commander entered the derelict ship through a breach in its side and once they had left the are she suddenly felt her pulse quicken, her breathing becoming more labored as she realized that she was freezing cold standing there. Subconsciously she wrapped her arms around herself to warm herself up; but she couldn't seem to get warm no matter what she did. Wilma shook her once and nearly ran through the hole in the ship's side that Buck and the Station Commander had gone through moments earlier.
