Bright stepped out of the cubicle and walked to the sink. He turned the water on to wash his hands. The school day was already over, so there was no one else in the bathroom. Wrong. Colin's face was staring at Bright in the mirror as he lift his gaze. The surprise on his face soon turned to anger. Colin had obviously followed Bright and waited to get alone with him. Bright knew why. He dried his hands and turned to face Colin.
"So, you here to give me another black eye? Well I got news for you: that ain't gonna happen! This time I'll hit you back..."
As Colin watched Bright's bruised face, a hint of remorse flashed on his face, but disappeared when he parted his lips to speak.
"Bright, man, we gotta talk..."
Bright ignored Colin's words and started towards the exit. Colin grabbed the sleeve of Bright's Miners jacket.
"Hey!... Don't go....please." Colin pleaded.
Bright rid himself of the other boy's grip but stopped walking.
"You're my best friend, and I know I'm yours...." Colin began. "...Things can't go on like this..."
Bright turned to face his friend, a serious look on his face. "No, they can't! You gotta get help! ...Admit it, Colin. You're not well..." he said, knowing it wasn't what Colin had meant.
Bright's words seemed to trigger something in Colin. A surge of anger flashed in his eyes as he gripped Bright's jacked and pushed him into one of the cubicles.
"I'm not sick! Get it in your thick head! I'm well!"
The anger disappeared as soon as it came and Colin loosened his grip, looking remorseful.
"I-I'm sorry..." he stammered, lowering his gaze.
Bright leaned against the wall and sighed. "Fine, whatever you say, man. As long as you stay away from me."
"But you're supposed to be my friend! You and Amy are all I have left! You two know me! It's still me, Colin!"
Bright shook his head, meeting Colin's desperate-looking blue eyes.
"Correction: Amy is all you have left. And even she knows you're sick, dude..."
Colin was silent for a moment, then stepped forward and brushed Bright's fingers with his own.
"But you and me...we had more than just friendship."
Colin's words caused Bright to look up. He realized the other boy was slowly stroking his fingers.
"W-what?"
Colin moved closer yet, now taking Bright's left hand into his. He smiled as he watched the bewildered look on the taller boy's face.
"I remember it, Bright." Colin spoke, pressing his chest against Bright's, ignoring the fact that Bright was trying to lean back.
"Over a year ago...I was 15 and you 16. The weekend when my parents were gone..."
****Flashback***
Colin opened the door and grinned as Bright stepped in.
"Made it!" Bright respired, leaning against his knees. "I ran all the way..."
"So no one knows you sneaked out?" Colin asked, his dark brows arched.
"Nope, I was like a damn secret agent man! Just gotta make sure I'll be back in my bed before breakfast." Bright laughed. "And your parents...?"
"Totally think I'm spending the weekend at your house! They left a couple of hours ago and won't be back before tomorrow night."
Bright kicked his shoes off, a wide grin on his face. "Sweet! We have all night to ourselves! We can, like, watch every R-rated movie there is on the cable tonight or whatever!"
Colin smiled but motioned for Bright to follow him into the kitchen.
"I think I know something better..."
"Better than Jenna Jameson?" Bright laughed but went silent as he lay his eyes on the kitchen table. Colin had placed there a big bottle of Vodka, some orange juice and two glasses.
"Dude! What's this?!" Bright exclaimed, his eyes wide.
"Took it from my dad's booze cabinet." Colin answered as they sat down.
"Umm...won't he notice something's missing?" Bright asked sceptically, watching Colin prepare him a drink.
"Not a chance." The other boy shook his head and hand Bright the glass. He watched as Bright downed the drink with one pull.
"Did I over do the Vodka?" Colin laughed.
"Definitely." Bright managed to cough, his eyes watering.
Colin kept laughing as he re-filled Bright's glass, this time adding more orange juice.
About an hour and many glasses later Colin decided it was time to slow down. He put the bottle of Vodka aside and eyed Bright.
"Dude, let's go to my room...I wanna show you something." Colin whispered.
Bright blinked his eyes and forced his legs to carry his weight as Colin took his hand and began to lead them out of the kitchen.
"You wanna show me something?" he repeated. "Something hot maybe? Like your Playboy collection?"
"Well no, not exactly." Colin sniggered, focusing on climbing the stairs, pausing to wait for Bright every now and then.
"Hey...have you seen the new chick in our school?" Bright asked as they reached Colin's room.
"Yeah...Cindy Winters. She's hot." Colin nodded, watching as Bright slumped down onto his bed.
"Yeah...like flammable..."
Colin joined Bright on the bed and lay down next to him. Bright watched the ceiling for a while, then turned his face in Colin's direction.
"Weren't you supposed to show me something?" he inquired, watching Colin with slightly unfocusing eyes.
The younger boy didn't answer him, just kept staring. Bright frowned and was about to repeat his question but Colin got him first. A surprised whimper escaped Bright's lungs as he felt Colin's lips press against his. Before the kiss could even begin, Bright was pulling back.
"Colin, dude, what the hell!?" he exclaimed.
Colin just watched him and remained silent. Bright sat up and stared at his friend.
"What'd you do that for?...I'm not like that! You're not! ...I thought we liked chicks!" Bright spoke, sounding anxious.
Colin licked his lips and sat up as well. "I know...but...don't you wanna, like, experiment?"
Bright was at loss of words, his mouth gaping.
"It wouldn't make us...well, like that...And no one would have to find out. You'd be just doing it with me..." Colin coaxed, noting how Bright was obviously already starting to warm up to the idea.
"It's no big deal...and it might be fun...come on..."
Even if Bright was still a bit hesitant, the alcohol in his blood was draining his inhibitions and after a moment of thinking, he gave a nod.
"Ok...but only if I get to be on top..."
Colin smiled and watched as Bright settled himself on top of Colin, their faces only inches apart.
"I...I don't-"
Before Bright could hesitate and pull back, Colin twined his fingers in his blonde hair and pulled him down into a hasty kiss. He licked Bright's lips and after a while was allowed to thrust his tongue into the other boy's mouth. Colin explorrighright's hot mouth, savoring the taste, trying to get Bright to response a bit more eagerly. He was slowly making progress as Bright began to massage his tongue against Colin's.
Even if Bright had wanted to be the one 'in control', Colin was clearly dominating the kiss. When they parted for air, all they did for a while was stare at each other.
"...This is weird..." Bright finally whispered.
Colin just watched him and remained silent. Slowly Bright leaned down again, uniting their lips. This time the kiss was more fervid. And even if it was odd for Bright, he was doing it; eagerly making out with his best friend. His tongue was fighting for dominance and he felt Colin's hips hesitantly begin to grind against his.
A little sigh escaped Colin's lips as Bright sank his fingers into his dark hair. He pressed his hips against Bright's harder than before and blinked his eyes as the other boy suddenly gasped and broke the kiss.
"Colin...we gotta stop this..." Bright whispered, his body rigid.
"Why?" Colin inquired, arching his brows. He placed his hands on Bright's shoulders to prevent him from leaving.
"Well...because!" was Bright's answer.
"Dude, that's not a reason..." Colin laughed, but gasped as Bright pressed his hips against Colin's again.
"This is why...You're turning me on man..." Bright whispered, the look on his face somewhat shameful.
Colin smiled gently and pulled Bright down against his own, smaller frame. "Doesn't matter...you're not the only one..."
Bright realized the meaning of Colin's words as he felt the erection, digging into his groin. He blinked his eyes. It felt new and somewhat odd, but as he watched Colin, lying under him, it was also turning him on.
Colin smiled inwardly as Bright began to kiss him again, not bothering to hold back anymore. They rocked their hips in mutual pace and as the kiss went on, Colin slowly reached down between them to remove his belt. He fumbled with his buttons and fly and finally managed to get his jeans open.
"You taking it out?" Bright asked, his breathing ragged.
"Yeah..." Colin breathed into his mouth.
"...Okay..."
After massaging himself through the fabric of his boxers for a while, Colin reached up and took Bright's other hand into his own. Slowly he guided it between them anded ted the other boy to take his erection out and twine his fingers around it. Colin could tell Bright was nervous, for his hand was trembling as he began to stroke Colin somewhat awkwardly. Colin was thrusting up into Bright's fist as the older boy kissed his neck.
Colin hadn't planned this. Honestly, he hadn't. But if he'd known Bright's hand would feel this good, he would have done this ages ago. He was having a hard time suppressing his moans as Bright tightened the hold around his slick cock.
"Faster..."he breathed and Bright did what he was told. He used his hand to pump Colin faster, now watching the expression on Colin's face.
"B-Bright...I think I'm gonna..." Colin groaned, hastily pushing Bright aside. He grabbed a tee-shirt that was lying on his bed and used it to prevent the mess as he came and a wave of orgasm rolled over him.
Bright watched Colin's heaving chest, waiting for him to recover. From the corner of his eye, Colin saw how Bright was using his hand to massage himself through his jeans. Shaking slightly, Colin sat up, used the tee- shirt to clean himself up and buttoned his jeans.
"Sit up...on the edge." He ordered.
Bright did so and came to sit on the edge of the bed. Colin lowered himself on the floor and parted Bright's legs, kneeling between them. Seeing the stage of arousal his friend was in, he quickly brought his hands up to unbutton Bright's jean
"
"Shit...Colin...are you really gonna-" Bright was unable to finish his sentence as he suddenly felt Colin's warm lips close around his member.
Colin felt the erection in his mouth throb, and knew it probably wouldn't take long for Bright to come. He used his tongue to caress the underside of Bright's shaft, already tasting the other boy's excitement in his mouth. Bright clenched the sheets as Colin increased the suction.
"I'm warning you....I can't hold it....I can't..." Bright breathed, closing his eyes. To his surprise Colin didn't pull back and Bright was allowed to come into his mouth.
Colin swallowed each jet of cum, then gently used his tongue to lick the little he'd missed. As he lift his gaze, his eyes met with Bright's content and surprised ones.
"That was...amazing..." Bright sighed and lay down on the bed. "I always thought I'd get my first blow job from some cheerleader chick..."
Colin frowned slightly. "Well...are you disappointed it was only me?"
Bright sat up again, looking serious. "I'm not! ...And you're not 'only you', but my best friend."
"And you mine." Colin smiled.
****End of Flashback****
Colin watched Bright's face and saw the blush on his cheek. He knew Bright, too, remembered. After a moment of silence, Bright spoke.
"Yeah....well that doesn't change anything that's happening now...it doesn't change the fact that you, Colin, are not well. You can deny it, but you know it's true."
Bright's words made Colin frown. His eyes were filled with anger and defeat.
"Fine! Just believe what ever you want...some friend you are. At least Amy's still with me! I don't need you! Just leave!" Colin growled through gritted teeth, trying to control his temper.
He was pushed aside by Bright who stepped out of the cubicle and prepared to leave. As Colin watched his retreating back, a wave of remorse hit him, and the anger in his eyes extinguished.
"Hey wait! Dude...don't go!" Colin called and was about to go after Bright, but realized he couldn't.
Bright was already at the door when he heard Colin's weakened voice.
"B-Bright...Bright...ahh..."
Colin's odd tone of voice caused Bright to stop and turn around. His eyes went wide as he saw Colin. His friend was standing near the sinks, about to fall down on the floor, his whole body rigid. Bright blinked his eyes as he watched Colin collapse and hit the ground with a sickening thud. It was only when Colin was already in the middle of a stroke, writhing on the tiled bathroom floor that Bright's brain registered what was going on.
He dashed towards his friend and knelt down beside him, taking Colin's head in his lap to prevent him from repeatedly hitting it against the floor.
"Colin...what the hell....Colin!" Bright exclaimed, his voice shaky.
Colin's body kept jerking and even if his eyes were open and meeting Bright's, they looked dead. Bright held Colin in his lap and stroked his forehead as the convulsing slowly started to subside. He watched as Colin slowly closed his eyes and exhaled shakily.
Bright was about to get up and run out to get help but Colin opened his eyes. The look on his face was both scared and defeated.
"Bright...I don't wanna be sick...I don't wanna go through all that shit again! I can't! ...I-I just want everything to be normal...I don't wanna die..." Colin whimpered.
Bright watched his friend with saddened eyes, knowing things would probably never again be normal.
"I know." He whispered.
The end.
