Voyager

"It's so good to be home" B'Elanna Janeway-Torres flopped bonelessly
onto the bed she shared with her wife of 3 years Kathryn Janeway.

"It's good having you home, having you 'both' home" Janeway agreed as
she rubbed her wife's slightly swollen belly.

"I think she's happy to be home to" B'Elanna laughed as the baby
kicked against her mother's hand.

"What was it like over 'there' on the other 'Voyager'" Janeway
settled back next to her wife.

"Well I was married to Seven of Nine" B'Elanna began.

"Seven? Then who was I married to?" Janeway turned to her wife in
surprise.

"Ara Nekira"

"The Ensign in Biometrics? Wow." Janeway squirmed moving closer to
B'Elanna.

"Yes. Tom Paris and Harry Kim were a couple. I didn't learn much else
though" B'Elanna rubbed her belly as the baby seemed to be doing back
f.
.

"Interesting. So you were married to S and and Tom was dating Harry,
so I guess there was no Nicodemus. I wonder if Naomi was the only
child aboard, or if she was even still alive" Janeway rolled onto her
stomach "Do you think we got sensor readings from the flyby. Maybe
those would tell us something more about that crew"

"Let it be Kathryn. We're almost home"

Paris/Hansen Quarters

"I'm leaving you" Seven said as she threw her few possesions into a
duffel bag.

"You can't leave" Tom argued not even looking up from the hand held
video game he was playing "We have a son to raise together"

"Nicodemus is no longer a reason for us to stay together. Besides I
was practically raising him on my own anyway. It was a mistake to
sleep with you"

"What do you mean Nicodemus isn't a reason anymore? He's all the
reason I'll ever need to hold you to me" Paris said cockily.

"Computer locate Nicodemus" Seven ordered staring down her juvenile
husband.

"Nicodemus is no longer aboard this vessel"

It took a moment for the realization to sink into Tom "What? Where is
he? What did you do with my son" Tom leapt to his feet and grabbed
Seven by her hair giving it a yank.

Seven stared at him in her cool borg demeanor and stated "He is where
he'll be loved" She gripped his w mak making his hand go slack and
breaking a few of his bones in the process. When he'd released her
hair, she shoved him away, grabbed her bag and walked out of the
quarters.

After leaving so abruptly Seven entered the turbolift and disembarked
on Deck Nine Section Twelve. B'Elanna's old quarters. They'd been
empty since she'd married the Captain. Seven entered her Security
code and entered dropping her bag on the couch. "Computer log Seven
of Nine and Tom Paris as Seperated pending Divorce Finalization"

"So logged"

"Computer Tom Paris is not to be allowed to enter these quarters.
Ignore his command overrides and Security codes. And Log me in for
the first open audience with the Captain for tomorrow morning"

"So logged"

Seven was tired. She'd given away her son, left her husband, and moved
out of the first quarters she'd ever called home, all within a 48
hour period.

Next Morning Ready Room

Janeway settled once again into her chair. She'd finally interviewed
all of the displaced crewman. The only one she seemed to be having
any problems with was Susan Nicoletti. She'd apparently been married
to Chakotay. He didnt' mind resuming the relationship but she was
adamant about leaving him. She shook the last meeting from her mind.
Her next one was with Seven of Nine.

/Breeboop/

"Come" Janeway called sipping her ever present coffee.

Seven was on time as usual. Thanks to her borg internal
chronometer. "Captain I wish to leave my husband" Seven announced
without preamble.

Janeway was taken aback by the sudden comment "Why? I thought you
agreed to stay married until Nico was old enough to care for himself"

"Nicodemus is no longer a factor" Seven lowered her gaze "I sent him
through the rift with B'Elanna Torres"

"You what?" Janeway quickly came to her feet.

"I sent Nicodemus through the rift with Lt. Torres. I believed he
would be happier there than he was here" Seven met the Captains
eyes "I am sorry Captain. I know that you were fond of him, but I did
what I thought was in his best interest"

"You thought it in his best interest to send him away from his
mother?!" Janeway set her coffee down harshly, spilling it's cooling
content all over the small end table.

"I sent him 'to' his mother Captain. Lt. Torres was married to 'my'
counterpart in that Reality. Your wife know's that Captain so I
believe that you know that as well."

"Your right I do. I also know that Tom was failing as a father. I
can't blame you Seven. Computer log Nicodemus Hansen-Paris as having
left the ship with family"

"So logged"

"Thank you Captain" Seven had tears in her eyes. She was happy to
have such an understanding woman as her Captain, and her friend.

Bridge

"Captain we're picking up something strange off our Port side" Tuvok
reported when Janeway entered the bridge later that morning.

"What is it Tuvok" Janeway said staring at the anomly on screen.

"It appears to be a temporal rift" Tuvok said as the ship jerked
slightly.

"What was that" Janeway rushed to her Ops officer Harry Kims station.

"We're being pulled into the singularity Captain" Harry said calmly
though he felt a thread of panic pass through him.

"A temporal rift with a graviton pull? That's unprecedented" Janeway
said returning to her chair to check the read outs "Take us out Mr.
Paris"

"I'm trying Captain. Every time I use the thrusters they just pull us
in faster" Paris said his fingers flying over the board.

He tried again at full Impulse and the ship shot through the rift.

Janeway's last thought was /Please send us somewhere my child will be
safe/

Kathryn Janeway sheltered her eyes from the glaring sun, she couldn't
see who was calling her name.

"Katie! Wait up I want you to meet someone" the voice came again.
Young and girlish. Phoebe.

Kathryn turned and nearly ran into her sister "God Phoebe slow down
it's not the end of the world" she steadied her sister with a hand on
her arm.

"Sorry" Phoebe gasped out slowly catching her breath. The girl
standing next to her wasn't breathing hard at all. "Lanna this is my
big sister Katie, she's gonna be in Starfleet when she gets older"
Phoebe said the pride obvious in her voice "Katie this is Lanna,
Lanna Torres, she just moved here with her father"

"Hello" Kathryn smiled at the girl. She recieve a sullen 'hey' in
response "New-girl-pohbia?" she asked.

Lanna's head shot up and she met Kathryn's eyes "Huh?"

"You move around alot. Makes you weary of meeting other people"
Kathryn explained patiently.

"Something like that" Lanna mumbled.

"Or maybe it's because your Klingon and small minded people always
stereotype you" Kathryn suggested firmly.

Lanna met the older girls eyes in amazement "Your awfully forward"

"I say what I think. And I think that you've been down trodden so
often because your Klingon that you don't expect friendship from
anyone" Kathryn rested a hand on her still forming hips "but you
don't have to worry about that with us. Phoebe doesn't know how to
hate, and I don't judge people by their species"

Lanna just nodded. She liked this girl, no bullshit. It helped that
the sun highlighted auburn hair framed an angelic face "I can live
with that"

"Good. Wanna come to lunch, my mom would love to meet someone who
doesn't run screaming from Phoebe when she starts running her motor
mouth" Kathryn offered. This girl had something about her that
Kathryn liked. Nothing fake or shy about her, just sullen.

"I'll have to ask my dad"

"Well walk with you. Come on Pheebs"

Annika Hansen woke up disoriented. She looked around the room that
was for the moment unrecognizable. Then she realized she was on the
floor. Footsteps came near.

Her bedroom door opened to admit Erin Hansen alive, well, and
unassimilated.

"Mom?" Annika rubbed her sleepy eyes.

"Fell out of the bed again 'Nik'? Erin chuckled "I swear girl you
trip over microscopic dust"

Annika grinned showing missing teeth "I'm talented" She giggled as
her mother rushed to her side tickling her ribs and abdomen.

"So was does my favorite 8 year old genuis want for lunch?" Erin
asked scopping her tiny daughter up "One of these day Annika your
gonna have to grow a bit or else people with think your 8 forever"

"I want Spagetti. And atleast I'd get into the Holovids cheaper"

Lanna had known the girls a whole three hours before she realized she
was in love. Kathryn Janeway was 3 years her senior and she was
absolutely taken with her. Her intelligence astounded Lanna so much
at times that she believed she was in the company of one of the
greatest scientific minds reborn.

"But I hate Temporal Mechanics" Kathryn was saying.

"I think that it's all mush" Lanna stated "the whole A=B=C=A thing
isn't convincing enough to make me believe that time travel is
possible"

"You never know Lanna. We could be from a different time, pulled into
a Temporal Anomoly that set us back 20 some years into the past"
Kathryn said picking at her barbequed chicken breast.

"No way"
______________________________________________________________________

"So where are you from?" Kathryn asked Lanna after dinner was through
and the dishes were done.

"I lived on Kronos for the past 4 years. But my mom left me and my
dad so he moved back here to Earth." Lanna said affixing a
marshmellow on the end of her stick.

"You think you'll like living here?" Katie checked her's to make sure
it didn't burn to much to make a good s'more.

"It's okay I guess" Lanna shrugged "I mean I met you guys and it
doesn't seem so crappy now"

"Good. When do you start school" Katie pulled the marshmellow off the
stick and made the s'more licking the last of it off her fingers.

"Monday, I start at the Jefferson Institute" Lanna grumbled as her
masrhmellow caught on fire. She shook the stick slightly trying to
put it out. Katie reached over and grasped the stick blowing it out
for her. She tooke the marshmellow off and offered it to Lanna.

Lanna ate it right out of her hand and licked the left over's from
Katie's fingers.

Kathryn was glad her mother was inside putting Phoebe to bed, because
she would never let her live down what she was about to do "Your very
pretty did you know that?" she asked Lanna softly.

"No I'm not pretty. But you are" Lanna said suddnely bashful.

"I think your beautiful. Have you ever been kissed girl?" Kathryn
asked bringing her face closer to Lanna's.

"No"

Katie brought her lips softly up against Lanna's rubbing them
together slightly before licking the girls lips. Lanna opened her
mouth to sigh and Kathryn's tongue slid in. Moments later Kathryn
moved back away from the other girl.

"Now you have"

Lanna smiled "You taste like Marshmellow"

"So do you"
