"I knew the doctor was a prima donna but" the helmsman paused "WOW"
At the comment Nicodemus and B'Elanna both ceased their laughter, the
boy sobered at light speed.
"Well Ensign it appears that some of us 'are' what we 'seem' to be"
Janeway deadpanned.
"Well" the doctor said his- uh her- aw man- sultry voice sounding
huffy "this is far from professional"
"Neither is your bedside manner" Seven commented.
The doctor remained silent reali (s) (s)he'd walked right into that
one. "Ltuld uld you kindly change me back"
"Sorry Doc. Nico here has the password and he ain't tellin no one"
B'Elanna smirked.
Nico made a zipping montion holding his lips shut tight.
"Oh come on"
"But doctor I believe this 'Improvement suits you" Seven said raising
her customary brow.
The Doctor stared at her blankly.
"Nicodemus darling" Janeway rested her hands on the boys cheeks "Do
you believe the doctor should remain this way for the time being?"
Nico smiled at the Captain nodding his head.
"Then for the time being he will remain sporting his 'improvements'.
Now doctor I believe we need your services. Would you kindly scan Lt.
Torres and check for the presence of 'Grenetic' Energy"
"Grenetic Energy is very rare in humans Captain, and even rarer is
Klingons" the beauty queen pointedly said.
"I know doctor but we found 'Grenetic Energy' in a foodstuff that
Neelix procured." Janeway said as pointedly.
"Fine" the doctor huffed assuming a rather sexy pout. She scanned
B'Elanna for several seconds before her pale blonde and nicely
clipped eyebrows shot up "There is a presence of elevated levels
of 'Grenetic Energy' present in Lt. Torres. A good thing it isn't
dangerous. There are also large levels of it Nicodemus. Probably from
being exposed to it for so long."
Seven's eyebrows shot up to her hairline in surprise an idea dawning
upon her.
Paris having lost interest began to wander away and didn't notice the
menacing look that she sent him. He had as of yet to acknowledge the
presence of his son.
"Hmm that settles it. If she's exerting 'Grenetic Energy at these
levels it makes it possilbe and most likely the reason why Lt. Torres
and my wife she switched" Janeway sighed "But the question is how do
we switch them back"

Ready Room
"A probe?"
"Yes Captain we could send a probe that is also exerting 'Grenetic
Energy' through the anomoly and see if it comes on the other side"
"And if it does"
"We could use it to communicate with the other 'Voyager' and co-
ordinate our efforts of exchanging B'Elanna's"
"Nice Seven I wish I'd thought of that"
"Yes Captain"
"But what do we use to exert the'Grenetic Energy' from the probe?"
"How about Neelix' 'klah'"
"Oh Seven sometimes you amaze me"
"Thank you Captain"
"Your a genius"
"Thank you Captain"
"An absolute marvel"
"I know Captain"
Janeway froze in the act of another compliment "Really? Well.
Procure 'all' of Neelix' 'klah' to be placed inside the probe"
"Yes Captain"
Seven rose to leave and complete her new mission.
"And Seven"
She turned.
"Thank You"
"Your Welcome Captain"

2 Hours Later
"Launch the probe" Janeway commanded sitting into her command chair.
"Launching probe" Harry Kim announced.
"Recieving telemetry"
"Voyager is on the other side Captain" Seven announced.
"Hail them"
"Voyager this is 'Voyager' please respond"
"They're responding Captain" Harry turned halfway towards her.
"On screen"
"Hello 'Voyager' I believe you have something of 'ours'" alt Janeway
said.
"And you have something of 'mine'" Janeway intoned.
"So Kathryn" Alt Janeway leaned back in her chair " How the hell do
we switch them back"

Conference Room
"So we do a quick flyby and switch me back" B'Elanna stated.
"Right"
"Are you sure it'll work"
"This is how it happened last night"
"Ok. But what if it doesn't work"
"Then we'll try something else"
"Lt. Torres. It 'will' work" Seven assured.
"Ok Seven. Even if I don't believe it myself I'll believe you"
Seven smiled "My counterpart is a lucky woman"
"Yes she is"

Later...
"Ok Lt. just lay in the bed the way you were last night and it should
switch you back during the flyby"
"Yes Captain. Uh where's Seven?"
"She's supposed to be here to take the last scans of you"
As this was said Seven rushed into the Briefing Room "Sorry I had to
put Nicodemus to bed"
"It's okay Seven. Tell him I'll miss him"
Seven nodded taking her scans "You are ready Lt."
"Thank you Seven"

Captain's Quarters
B'Elanna sighed deeply waiting for the flyby to commence. She really
wished she'd had a chance to say goodbye to Nicodemus in person. She
was really fond of the boy.
"Lt. the flyby is about to commence" Seven's voice came over the conn
slightly nervous.
"Ok. I'm ready"
B'Elanna stretched out flopping on the bed in her most comforatble
way as she felt the ship jump to warp.
There was a flash of light and then she nothnothing.

"More fainting"
"Oh shut up Dr. Bunny"
"How rude"
