.Challenges for Charity.

Chapter 8............Challenges for Charity.

The sun was nearly set. Robin was certain that Gisborne and his Lady would have been in their bed for some time. So taking his bow and just one arrow he set off towards Loxley.
Alan had been worried about him. He had been severely pensive since hearing about Giz's marriage and in his state of mind might be capable of anything.
Getting up, he followed his leader at a careful distance.
His fears were well and truly confirmed when Loxely Manor came into view.
Sighing deeply he circled round keeping Robin in view while maintaining his distance.

Robin was under the master bedroom window. Even if he hadn't already known where it was the sounds coming from within gave it away.
Lady Gisborne was clearly having a highly enjoyable time in bed with her husband.

He began to climb up to the source of the sound. Climbing over the sill he was temporarily transfixed by the erotic sight before his eyes.

A golden haired goddess was moving herself up and down on her lord's c0ck with very vocal relish.
Gisborne was drinking in the arousing view and alternately stroking his lady's clit and her breasts which jiggled invitingly as she screamed through her orgasm.
Guy was about to turn Charity around to enter her from behind when she squealed in terror.
He looked up and saw Robin standing there. He hadn't yet fitted the arrow to his bow and his crotch bulged with an obvious erection.

' Reduced to voyeurism now Hood ?' Guy asked bitchily. ' Mind you'. He deliberately ran a lascivious hand over Charity's curves. ' She's well worth watching isn't she ? And feels every bit as good as she looks'.
He slid a finger inside her still sopping wet p***y and put the juice coated finger into his mouth moaning with exaggerated delight.
' Is there something we can do for you ?' he continued with a raised eyebrow.
' Because if not I'd be obliged if you'd b***er of and let us finish'.

Robin had come to himself again. He fitted the arrow and aimed it at Charity's breast.
Guy's baiting turned to fear. ' What the hell are you playing at ?' He asked trying to keep his voice steady.

' You took away the woman I love Gisborne'. Robin said with icy calm. ' Now I'm going to show you how it feels'.

Guy was out of bed. Deadly serious now and stood in front of Charity.
' You fire that arrow Hood' he said in a dangerously quiet tone ' and I swear I won't have you hanged.....I'll have you crucified' He hissed. ' And I'll hammer the nails in personally'.

Alan had watched Robin enter the window so he climbed up until he was close enough to the to get in quickly at need but still remain hidden.

At Guy's latter words he was up and through the opening. ' Rob. Put the bow down eh ? Marian wouldn't have wanted you to kill another woman would she ?'

' Keep out of this Alan. It's not your concern'. Robin was moving the bow to get the best aim he could. It was tempting to just kill Guy. But how then would he understand the ache in Robin's heart.

' I think it is Rob'. Alan gently put a hand on the bow. ' She's doing some good work here. Take a look around the village and you'll see.
And I know you don't believe she can sort Giz out but how do you know if you don't give her the chance ?'

' How will that make him pay for murdering Marian ?' Robin's voice cracked and he tried to stem the flow of tears but failed.
Charity jumped out of bed and tried to console him only to be pushed away.

Alan knew that he had to say what had been on his mind for a long time though it would win him no favours from Robin.

' That wasn't murder Rob. It wasn't planned in cold blood like this.
I'm not defending what Giz did but Marian had been playing a very dangerous game with him for months'.

Now Robin lowered his bow. But only to shoot Alan a look of loathing.
' Are you saying Marian deserved what he did ?'

' Course I'm not'. Alan said scandalised. ' But if you play with fire you risk getting burned.
She spent months leading Giz to believe she could come to love him and all the while using his feelings for her to manipulate him. She knew the risk she was taking Rob. But I'm not sure you did.
What did you think was going to happen when Giz found out she was using him and going to marry you ? Him kissing her on the cheek and wishing her well ?'

Robin just stared at him. He'd always felt that Alan's loyalties were still divided when he returned to the gang.
This as far as he was concerned proved it.

' I don't know you Alan. You're not the man I thought you were.
This is where we part company. And if I see you near my camp ever again......you're dead'.

Unable to stand being in this room any longer he climbed out of the window and was gone'.

Charity heaved a shuddering sigh that ended on a sob of relief. Guy held her close to comfort her looking up at Alan and said 'Thank You' with such genuine emotion that it was clear he had taken Robin very seriously.

' So.' He went on. ' Are you back with me or not ?' Alan looked surprised but delighted.
' Yeah. If you want me. Thanks........I won't let you down this time'. Guy passed no comment on this. He just told his reinstated Right Hand Man ' Niamh's room is on the far side of the ante chamber. Get her to sort you out a bath, clothes, some food.....and a bed'.
A look passed between the 3 of them showing that his meaning was taken and appreciated.

When he had left them. Guy turned to Charity who was half smiling half baleful.

' Sir Guy'. She said severely. ' I'll thank you not to display me again to another man as though I were a prize mare at the market'.

' Display you ?' Guy asked with a smirk. ' Hood had already taken a very detailed look at you before I even spoke.
He was standing there with his eyes on stalks and his c0ck like a flag pole watching us sh***ing'.

He laid Charity back onto the bed and with his head between her thighs began to lap at her like a thirsty cat.
' You have a very regrettable malicious streak'. Charity commented twining her fingers in Guy's thick black hair. ' And yet you also agreed to help me to help the village and have given Alan and Niamh the best gift you could. At least I can say life with you is never dull.'

She giggled as Guy's tongue moved up over her pubic bone towards her breasts.
He took a nipple in his mouth as he slid himself deep within her turning her giggles into moans. This time there were no interruptions.

The next morning Niamh came to help her lady to dress hand in hand with a very smugly satisfied Alan.
' Did you sleep well ?' Guy asked dryly. Alan's cocky grin and the shine in Niamh's eyes said that sleep had been the last thing on their minds.

Outside the stables the 2 couples stood embracing. Then Guy and Alan mounted their horses. Charity put an arm around Niamh. ' Aren't our men an impressive sight?' She said glowingly. ' Wonderful My Lady' the maid sighed and they were treated to kisses blown to them over black clad shoulders as the men rode off.

Guy stood in Vasey's office well aware that this was someone who would never allow himself to be impressed.
This didn't worry him as much as it used to not now he had Charity to warm his heart.
His love for her was steadily growing and could he dare to hope that she might be coming to love him too.
The difference was he thought sadly that no one could fail to love Charity. But him ?
Who could ever love him ?
He steeled himself against the first vitriol of the day that was bound to come.

' I see that you have that scruffy ne'er do well A-Dale in tow again. Honestly Gisborne. Haven't you learned anything from the last time ?
Just as long as you make it clear to him that if he turns coat again there'll be a rope with his name on it.'

He rubbed his hands together as though really enjoying himself. ' Now from one of the filthy peasantry to a whole village of them. Yours as it happens.'
He gave Guy a look that meant no good at all as he went on.
' You've been getting soft on those Loxley scum. I knew little Lady Charity had unmanned you. They're getting rather lax about tax paying and have you meted out justice ? Not a bit of it.

This needs to change of course and I have the very solution. It has been brought to my notice that these peasants who cannot pay their taxes have nevertheless managed to buy animals that are roaming around on your estate completely unchecked.
In lieu of taxes you will therefore bring me half of that livestock in 2 days time.
I have no doubt that your soft hearted lady will protest. But you will tell her that if she interferes with the lawful collection of taxes she will spend a night in the castle cells followed by a flogging in the morning.'

Leaving this hanging in the air he sent Guy off on his duties for the day.
