Chapter Seven

The next day at school Lois was standing at the bottom of the stairs reading her article in the Torch. She just had to smile because she really was good.

Chloe came down the steps with a bright smile on her face, “Admiring the genius within?”

“I had a typo,” Lois whined.

“Nice try,” Chloe said following after her, “I followed up on Abby’s story line and it looks like Mommy Makeover is going to be playing “mirror, mirror” on the psych ward wall from now on.”

“Is Abby going to be okay,” Lois asked in some concern for the poor unfortunate girl.

“Yeah,” Chloe said, “She’ll be back next week.”

“Cool,” Lois smiled at her cousin.

“Want to go see Clark Kent in a wet t-shirt,” Chloe asked.

“Huh?”

“Pep rally,” Chloe said with an eye roll.

“Like I’ve never seen that before.”

Clark was really uncomfortable with this whole “dunk the new jock” thing. He was literally half naked sitting on this board waiting to be dunked in a pool of water below. He was giving Lois the biggest sad puppy dog face that he could muster but it wasn’t working. The diary said it had always worked on Lex.

She threw the football once more and he went for a splash. He came up shaking his head while spitting water out of his mouth. He had not been prepared for that. People were laughing and cheering as Lois ran up to him, “Gotcha Green Eyes.”

“That was actually fun,” Clark laughed wanting to do it again.

She ran her fingers through his hair while Chloe watched. She felt sad all of a sudden but continued to smile on the outside. Clark looked happy and that was all she needed. She ran up to them laughing and she got splashed as well. More cheers went out.

Violet eyes were watching. Kal had told him that he had always wanted to play football and now he was able to. What Kal wanted, Loth was going to give it to him.

Clark had a really good time at the pep rally. He had made lots of new friends and everyone seemed so nice. He smiled as he made his way into the locker room to get out of his clothes so he could take a shower. He went to take off his shirt when he heard a shower turn on. That brought a frown to his face. He had hoped to have the showers all to himself.

A sweet smell filled his nostrils and he could hear humming. Someone obviously had a beautiful voice. The voice was slick as silk and sweeter than honey from a silver spoon. For some odd reason the song sounded really familiar and then he began to hear words.

Don’t lose your way

With each passing day

You’ve come so far

Don’t throw it away

He dropped his helmet and the sweet voice fell silent and someone asked, “Is someone there?”

“Sorry,” Clark said bending over to pick up his helmet, “I didn’t mean to frighten you.”

“I wasn’t frightened,” the voice said and the tall figure was hidden from view by clouds of thick steam, “You just surprised me is all.”

“I’m Clark,” he said beginning to take off his own clothes so he could shower to, “I can’t see who you are though.”

“Its Lindsey,” he said and Clark could see a tall figure in the mist as it cleared a little.

“Hi,” Clark said smiling and then stopped when he saws that Lindsey had his back to him. He had his head thrown back washing sweet smelling suds from his black hair. His back was broad and his waist was narrow. His legs were long and sculpted below his perfect ass. Those arms were strong and sculpted like Apollo as those long pale fingers washed that raven black hair.

“I was in art class,” Lindsey said as he began to soap that flawless pale skin, “I got paint and clay all over me.”

“You’re an artist,” Clark asked in awe because he loved art. He doodled all the time.

“I love all kinds of art,” he said, “Whether it is singing, music, theatre, painting, drawing, and sculpting. I love creativity.”

“That’s neat,” Clark said walking into the shower to turn on a faucet head for hot water to hit his skin.

“Do you like art,” Lindsey asked as the suds washed off his smooth body and down the drain.

“Yeah,” Clark said sticking his head under the spray, “I like to sketch.”

“Really,” Lindsey asked as he turned around to see that Clark was still in his boxers which made him smile.

“I have a lot of sketch books at home,” Clark said and then blushed. He just realized he had forgotten to take his boxers off.

“If you’re uncomfortable Clark,” Lindsey said, “I can turn around for you.”

“Really,” Clark asked feeling a little embarrassed and not knowing why, “You don’t mind?”

Lindsey smiled at him and turned around so Clark could take off his boxers, “Not at all.”

“How do you like Smallville,” Clark asked as he quickly soaped his body so as to not completely inconvenience his new friend’s shower.

“I like it,” Lindsey said while bending down to pick up a conditioner from his bucket, “The people are nice here at school.”

Clark felt funny. He looked down to see that his member was harder than rock. This was not good. What was he suppose to do? What if Lindsey saw? But his body is so lovely. Bad Clark! But his body is so beautiful. Stop it Clark!

He quickly turned his back to Lindsey’s back and quickly washed his hair, “That’s good.”

“Yeah,” Lindsey said and then decided to ask, “What do students do for fun around here?”

“There isn’t a lot,” Clark said thinking from what all Chloe had told him, “There is the Talon, the skating ring, and Crater Lake.”

“Oh,” Lindsey said rinsing the conditioner from his hair, “Would you mind showing me around?”

“Okay,” Clark agreed as he finished washing his own hair, “Sounds like fun.”

“Cool,” Lindsey smiled as Clark shyly asked.

“Could I borrow your conditioner? I forgot mine and yours smells really good.”

“Sure,” Lindsey said backing up to get it out of his bucket only for his foot to slip on something that felt like soap. He let out a slight yelp and Clark spun around so fast he could see every drop of water falling as Lindsey was.

He suddenly had Lindsey in his arms who was holding onto him with bright violet eyes looking bewildered into worried green ones. Clark helped him to his feet blushing terribly because his penis had rubbed up against Lindsey’s thigh. It had felt sort of good. Bad Clark!

“Thank you,” Lindsey said looking down at the soap that must have missed his bucket when he dropped it to see Clark’s raging hard on.

Clark quickly turned back around with his head lowered, “You’re welcome and I’m sorry.”

“Sorry for what,” he asked, “You kept me from bashing my head open against the ground.”

“I didn’t mean to,” Clark tried and Lindsey bent down and picked up his conditioner and stepped up beside Clark putting it in his hand.

“I’ll wait for you outside,” Lindsey smiled brightly and Clark loved it, “So when you’re done you can show me around your Smallville.”

“Okay,” Clark said watching him walk out of the steam to dry off and get dressed.

Clark smiled when Lindsey began to hum again only to stop when all the other jocks suddenly ran in cheering and yelling at the top of their lungs. They all took one look at Lindsey and went back to cheering and yelling. Lindsey slid his shirt on and strolled out fully dressed to wait on Clark.

“Did you see his eyes,” David asked, “They were purple.”

“Too bad he didn’t try out for the team,” Darin called out, “He’s big enough.”

“He might ruin that pretty face of his,” Jared laughed, “What was his name?”

“Lindsey,” Kyle called, “Lindsey Leland.”

“Who’s his family,” another asked while stripping down only to receive a swat across the ass, “Ouch!”

“Not a clue,” Josh said, “But I bet he’s gay.”

“I think he’s nice,” Clark said standing there completely dressed in his normal clothes with steam swirling around him, “I like him.”

“Hey,” Josh said holding up his hands seeing that Kent was obviously way bigger than he was, “If you like him then its cool.”

Clark smiled, “Maybe being a football player does have its perks.”

“Party at Crater Lake tonight,” a voice shouted and everyone yelled, “Yeah!”

“Hey Lindsey,” Chloe called out when she saws him walk outside to look over and smile blindingly at her. He had the kind of smile that would make ice melt in the dead of winter.

“Chloe,” he said walking up to her where she was lounging on a bench, “How was the pep rally?”

“It was nice,” she said giving him a yawn which made him laugh, “Lots of sweaty apes running around like idiots.”

“Nice,” he said taking a seat she offered him, “Did you have fun?”

“Yeah,” she said putting on her sunglasses and wondered how he was able to not burn in this bright light with having such fair skin, “Got to see Clark get dunked by my cousin Lois.”

“Say my name,” a loud voice asked and Chloe turned to see Lois running up, “Hi ya’ll.”

Chloe snorted at her horrible accent, “Hi.”

“Hey Lois,” Lindsey said and Lois almost fell over her own feet when she saw the color of his eyes. She thought Clark’s eyes were lovely but these rivaled even his luminous orbs.

“Hi,” she said extending a hand for a large pale one to take. The touch made her tremble because it was so soft and powerful.

“Lindsey,” he said shaking it, “Lindsey Leland.”

“Ah,” Lois said smiling, “Another L.L. I see.”

“Clark,” Chloe called out and violet orbs turned to see him jogging up with a backpack strewn over a shoulder giving them all a crest white smile.

“Hey,” he said looking at Lindsey, “Sorry it took so long.”

“No problem,” Lindsey said releasing Lois’s hand, “I’ve had company.”

“I see you’ve become quite popular Green Eyes,” Lois said looking at him only to get a shy smile. She rolled her eyes. He really was too nice for his own good.

“Oh the joys of being an athlete,” Chloe said getting up and taking one of Clark’s arms, “Whose up for drinks at the Talon?”

“Oh,” Clark said, “There is a party at Crater Lake tonight and I’m inviting you all.”

“Party,” Lois asked with a secret smile, “Will their be drinks?”

“I would guess so,” Clark said as they followed Chloe to her car.

“What’s your favorite drink Clark,” Lois asked as she got in the passenger seat as the others got in.

“I don’t remember,” he said putting on his seatbelt, “But I do like Mountain Dew.”

“That’s not a drink,” Lois snapped for Lindsey to snort.

“Clark doesn’t drink Lois,” Chloe told her as the engine roared to life, “He’s a good boy.”

“Right,” Lois said pulling down her visor so she could see those smirking green eyes only to see that he was totally looking at violet orbs. Lois was beginning to think that Clark had a fetish for people with the initial L.L. He use to be all goo-goo for Lana Lang, hung out with rich billionaire Lex Luthor. Since she was practically living with the Kent’s, maybe she could find some journal of Clark’s or something to get inside that crazy head of his.

“What classes are you taking Lindsey,” Chloe asked as she pulled out of the school lot.

“Chemistry, art, music, and drama,” he said while pretending not to notice that Clark was looking at him.

“Wow,” Chloe said looking at him in the mirror, “You must be very talented to be able to deal with all that.”

“He can sing to,” Clark said as he rolled down his window for air to blow through his still wet hair.

“Really,” Lois asked, “What do you sing?”

“Anything,” he said and was smiling at how close Clark was to him. This vehicle really was conveniently small.

Lindsey looked over at Clark to see that he had his head laying back with his eyes closed. His thick black hair was blowing around his golden face. He smiled at him secretly and turned to look out his window as Chloe frowned in some small worry.

88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

The Talon was practically empty when Clark walked in his three friends and was surprised to see his mom behind the counter ringing up an order for Lex. He walked up to the counter for his mom to look up with a smile on her face for him and Lex turned to say, “Hey Clark.”

“Hi,” he said looking down at the cookies he had ordered, “I see you like cookies.”

“I love them,” Lex said with a smile and winked at Mrs. Kent, “Especially if they’re made by your mom.”

Clark nodded and then noticed that Lex was looking over his shoulder. He turned around to see with wide eyes that Lois was arm wrestling with Lindsey. Lois looked like she was winning only for her mouth to drop when Lindsey took her down. For some odd reason that just didn’t seem right at all.

“Wait until I’m lit,” she smirked, “Then I’ll kick your rock hard ass.”

“I thought I felt someone feeling me up as we walked in,” he said smiling and turned to see Clark and a handsome bald man looking at him and turned to Chloe who was laughing at the look of pure outrage on Lois’s pretty face.

“Who is your friend Clark,” Lex asked hiding the note of envy in his voice.

“Oh,” Clark said turning from his mom, “His name is Lindsey Leland.”

Clark called to him and Lindsey left Lois who was snarling obscenities to walk up to them, “Hi.”

Martha and Lex were both stunned by his impeccable physical features, especially his eyes and could not seem to find words. It was very strange.

“Please to meet you,” Martha said handing out free cookies to him and Clark, “I’m Clark’s mom, Martha.”

“Thank you Mrs. Kent,” Lindsey told her and took the chocolate chip cookie she offered to him, “My name is Lindsey.”

“Alexander Luthor,” Lex said offering Lindsey his pale hand which Lindsey took in his own, “Pleased to meet you.”

“Likewise,” Lindsey said noticing the coldness in the man’s voice that matched the winter raging in his eyes. Such a cold soul. It was sad and lovely at the same time.

“He goes by Lex,” Clark said as he took another bite of his cookie and smiled with chocolate between his teeth. Lex almost melted into a puddle right there on the floor. He wanted to lick the chocolate from him.

“Only to those who know me,” Lex said taking a sip of his coffee.

“Noted,” Lindsey smiled and it was lava hot, “But you may call me G…Lindsey.”

“Noted,” Lex smirked, “Lindsey.”

Clark was sensing some serious hostility and crammed the whole cookie into his mouth to wince when Lois shouted, “Hey Violet!”

Lindsey turned around to look at her from Lex, “Yes?”

“Pay up,” Lois said to Chloe with a smug smile, “Told you he’d answer to it.”

Chloe rolled her eyes and slapped a ten in her hand and Martha tapped her son on the shoulder, “How was the pep rally?”

“It was fun,” he told her taking another cookie, “There is a party at Crater Lake tonight.”

“Oh,” Martha said as she wiped off the counter, “Are you going to go?”

“Yes,” Clark said, “I invited Chloe, Lois, and Lindsey to go with me.”

Lex narrowed his eyes, “Will there be drinking?”

Martha froze. Where the heck did that come from? Wasn’t that supposed to be her line? She was the mother after all.

“Of course,” Clark said smiling to Lex’s horror, “One needs something to drink with food Lex.”

“No sweetheart,” Martha said seeing the look on Lex’s face and loved his concern, “Will their be alcohol?”

“”Oh,” Clark said, “They’re football players so I assume yes there will be. Chloe told me that I don’t drink alcohol so I guess I’ll look after people.”

“Good,” Martha said and looked over at Chloe who was typing away on her laptop, “I don’t want you drinking anything with alcohol in it sweetheart.”

“Okay,” Clark said turning to see Lindsey walking around looking at all the drawings on the pillars that supported the shop.

Lex decided that he was going to have to keep an eye on Clark. He did not want someone to take advantage of him while he still had amnesia. He was liable to believe that red was green and purple was blue at this point.

“Mrs. Kent,” Lois called and Lord and Lady she was loud, “Can I get a chocolate shake?”

“Sure thing dear,” Martha said and set about making a mighty fine shake if she did say so herself.

Clark walked over and took a seat next to Chloe and asked her what it was she was working on. She told him that it was over the school menu and how they need more choices on what to eat. This was her last year to fight the lunchroom Nazis.

He kept thinking about what the had read in his journal about him and Lex. Maybe he should ask Lex about it…after he finished reading the whole thing. He wanted to make sure that he did not make some stupid mistake that he couldn’t fix and he didn’t want to hurt Lex in the process.

Martha finished Lois’s shake and brought it over to her, “Here you are Lois.”

“Wow Mrs. Kent,” Lois said looking at how pretty she had made it, “This looks to die for.”

“I hope it tastes just as good,” she said with a smile and poked Clark on the shoulder who was watching Lindsey look the shop over, “Can I speak to you in the back sweetheart?”

Clark looked up at her, “Okay.”

Lex walked over, “I need to be going,” he said, “I’ll see you all later.”

“Bye Lex,” Clark said with a wave.

“See you Clark,” he said making his way to the door to stop and looked at Lindsey who was looking out the window, “Lindsey.”

“Alexander Luthor,” he said turning with a polite nod, “Do drive safely.”

“Always,” Lex smirked and left.

Lindsey watched him from the door as he got into his flashy new sports car squealing tires as he took off out of town. Lindsey shook his head as he turned and walked over to see with Chloe and Lois as Clark followed his mother into the back room.

888888888888888888888888888888888888888

“Clark,” Martha said walking over to get some more chocolate sauce off the big shelf, “I want you to be careful at the party sweetheart.”

“I will Mom,” he said as he reached up behind her and got the sauce for her, “I’ll have Chloe and Lois watching out for me as well as Lindsey.”

“Lindsey is a new face,” she said taking the sauce from him with a smile of thanks, “When did he start school with you?”

“He started the other day,” he told her as he watched her open the can, “He loves the arts and has a pretty voice.”

“Pretty,” Martha thought as he poured the chocolate into the bottle, “I noticed that his eyes are violet,” she said while thinking, “And far to beautiful to be completely human.”

“Its his natural eye color,” Clark told her, “The principal thought he was wearing contact lenses.”

“Is he meteor infected,” she asked turning in concern for the safety of her son and his friends.

“I,” Clark started and then frowned at the thought of Lindsey being dangerous, “I don’t think he is.”

“Just be careful sweetheart,” she said and gave him a hung, “And have fun tonight.”

“I will,” he said with a smile but his mind was like a storm. Could Lindsey be meteor infected? He needed to talk to Lex. He needed to finish his journal.

88888888888888888888888888888888888

Lex walked into his study with a major frown on his pale face. His ice blue eyes were looking a little on the liquid mercury side as he took a seat at his desk flipping open his laptop. He was still trying to figure out who had suddenly appeared inside his jet to run off his stone.

“Dad,” Lex hissed with pure venom, “Red cape, indeed.”

He watched the outer door being ripped open and fall over and over. The more he watched it the more pissed he got. That stone had been his dammit! He hissed at the screen in anger and exited the setup. He was going to do a background check on a certain violet eyed young man for his laptop to suddenly fry.

He was Goddamned.

8888888888888888888888888888888888888

“What do you mean,” Jonathan asked as he looked at Martha from his position behind the tractor, “You let him go to some party?”

“He’s with his friends Jonathan,” she said while looking for the wrench he asked her for, “He can control his powers and he knows not to let anyone see him if he does.”

“There will be drinking,” Jonathan argued getting up, “And Lord knows what else.”

“He is with Chloe,” she told him while holding the wrench out to him, “And Lois.”

“That makes me feel so much better,” he said sarcastically and Martha cocked an eyebrow in warning that her fuse was short.

“Did you tell him to call if their was some kind of trouble,” he asked knowing full well that of course she had.

“Yes,” Martha said and then asked in a sultry voice, “Is that a bed of hay I see?”
