Life Gone Wrong

Emma and Jay have been together for the last two months things couldn’t be better. They both found part time jobs he worked at a mechanic shop and she worked at a clothing store in the mall. She kept in touch with her mom who seemed to be doing very well with her treatment and Jack was doing great over at Caitlin’s. Everyone found out about her last job as the town stripper and still treated her like nothing had changed. She came home for work and started cooking dinner for her boyfriend. “I am home,” Jay yelled from the door.

“Dinner is almost ready,” Emma said from the kitchen. Jay came up behind her and hugged her close. “How was your day?” She asked.

“Good boss is thinking of giving me a raise,” Jay said smiling. “You smell so good,” he said kissing her neck lightly and stared to suck on it.

“I don’t think so,” Emma said pushing him away. “Eat first play later,” she said setting his food down on the table.

“This looks great babe,” Jay said softly and she kissed him on the cheek. “Taste good,” he said taking a bite of his food and she sat down with her food.

“Your birthday is coming up is there anything you want to do?” Emma asked in a low voice and he put down his fork.

“Now that you ask I would like to have a party,” Jay began. “But I wanted to ask you if you mind,” he said gripping her hand and she smiled at him.

“Of course not,” Emma replied. “You deserve it,” she said softly.

“Thanks,” Jay said going back to eating his food as well as her. They went to bed later that night and just held each other.

The day before Jay’s birthday party bash they were making sure they had everything. The others were over at the house trying to help their friend out. Jay ran through his check list on last time. “Okay looks like we got everything,” Emma said in a low voice.

“Not everything,” Jay said looking up at her.

“What are we missing?” Sean asked looking down at the listen. Jay leaned over to his girlfriend and whispered something in her ear.

“Jay,” Emma said blushing slightly. “Maybe,” she said in a firm voice.

“I don’t even want to know,” Alex said standing up from the floor. “Come on we should head home we’ll see you guys tomorrow,” she said walking out the door.

“Bye guys,” Sean said following her out and the others following him. Jay closed the door, locked it and then came back over to her.
“We are finally alone,” Jay said in a soft voice. Emma wrapped her arms around his neck, they met in a soft kiss and he pushed her back onto the couch.

“I have an early birthday present for you,” Emma replied with a smile on her face. Jay put his hand in his pocket and pulled out jewelry box.

“I got something for you too,” Jay replied handing it to her.

“Jay you didn’t have to,” Emma said sitting up on the couch and he opened it. It was a silver ban ring that had a small inscription ‘I love you forever.’

“You like?” Jay asked softly and she had tears in her eyes.

“It’s beautiful,” Emma said wiping her tears away.

“This is my promise to you,” Jay replied. “That I will always love you, that I will be faithful to you and that one day when we are both ready I will ask you to be my wife,” he said causing her to catch her breath.

“I love you so much,” Emma said as he slipped the ring on her finger. She looked at it smiling and the stood up from the couch. “Come on,” she said grabbing his hand.

Jay let her lead him to the back bedroom and he sat down on the bed. “Where are you going?” Jay asked watching her head for the bathroom.

“I’ll be back,” Emma said blowing him a kiss and locked the door behind her. She came out of the bathroom in a pink mesh babydoll outfit with a thong to match.

“Wow,” Jay said feeling his breath get caught in his throat. She went over to the radio and turned one some soft music. “You’re going to strip for me,” he said swallowing hard.

“You bet,” Emma said walking over to him. She placed on leg in between his knees and the other on the side of his leg.

“Why do you have to be such a tease?” Jay asked placing his hands on her hips. Emma pushed his hands away and kissed him passionately.

“You like it,” Emma said pulling away from him and began to move to the music.

Jay watched her back away from him and she slid the left strap down. She looked at him biting her lower lip and then placed the strap back up. She turned her back to him, bent over and ran her hand slowly up her left leg. Jay began to feel himself growing harder and rubbed himself gently. Emma turned back around to face him and she slid the babydoll off her shoulder letting it drop to the floor.

“Oh god,” Jay said wanting to just grab her in his arms. Emma walked over to him and sat down his lap. “Mmmm,” he said throwing his head back and grabbing her boobs.

“You know we are not supposed to let the customers do that,” Emma said nibbling on her ear and looked at him with desire in her eyes.

“It’s a good thing I am not a customer,” Jay said pulling her into a kiss. She pushed away from him and slid her underwear down while rolling her hips. “Stop torturing me,” he said.

“Lay down,” Emma said pushing him back onto the bed. Jay smiled down knowing that this would be another fantastic night.

The next morning he woke up alone in bed and she came walking into the room. She had breakfast ready for him and he sat up a little. “A strip and breakfast in bed,” Jay said.

“Only the best on your birthday,” Emma said softly. “Now look they called me into work but I will be back in time for the party,” she said kissing him on the lips.

“Love you,” Jay replied.

“Love you too,” Emma said running out of the house. Jay heard a knock at the door and went to open it. Alex, Ellie, Towzer, and Sean came into the house with stuff.

“Where is Emma?” Alex asked looking around the room.

“They called her into work but she’ll be here on time,” Jay said looking down at the alcohol and taking a bottle for his private stash.

“Cool,” Sean replied bring out the food. “So let’s get started the party is in a few hours,” he said getting everything out of the bags.

Later that night it was half an hour into the party and Emma still hadn’t shown. Jay tried to call her cell phone but it had been turned off because of work. Sean came walking over to his friend seeing that he wasn’t have a good time. “You okay?” Sean asked.

“Yeah,” Jay replied. “I am just worried about her man she always calls when she is going to be home late,” he said looking down at his phone.

“She’s probably on her way,” Sean said trying to reassure him but he was kind of worried at the same time. ‘Where was she?’ he thought to himself.

Emma walked out of the story with her friend Linda that was also working there. They locked the doors and were ready to go home for the day. “I am so late,” Emma replied.

“You want me to give you a ride?” Linda asked.

“I love you,” Emma said with a desperate look on her face.

“Come on it’s over here,” Linda said motioning to her convertible. Emma stopped when she heard the bush move. “What is it?” She asked.

“Nothing,” Emma said shaking her head.

“Oh it’s something,” a voice said. “It’s me,” Nick said coming out of the bush.

“Get away from me,” Emma said backing up to the car.

“Who the hell are you?” Linda asked.

“I am the guys life she ruined,” Nick replied. “Telling my girl that I raped you and now she won’t even return my calls,” he said coming closer to her with a knife in his hand.

“Let’s go Em,” Linda said coming around the car and grabbing her arm. Nick got angry at that point and stabbed her in the chest repeatedly.

“AHH!” Emma screamed starting to run and he finally caught up with her.

“Now your turn,” Nick said stabbing her in the stomach and dropping her to the floor. Nick ran when he heard sirens go off and headed back to his car.

It had been three hours since the party first started and she still wasn’t here. “Okay now I am really worried,” Jay said looking at his friends.

“Maybe we should call her work,” Alex replied softly. Jay nodded his head when the house phone started to ring. “Cut the music,” she yelled.

“Hello,” Jay said softly. “Yes……what.......oh my god I’ll be right there,” he said putting down the phone and grabbing his jacket.

“What happened?” Manny asked running over to him.

“She’s been stabbed,” Jay said running out the door with the others following. They came running into the emergency room and went to the front desk. “I am Jay Hogart the hospital called about my girlfriend,” he said out of breath.

“Yes hold on one moment,” the nurse replied getting on the phone. The doctor came walking over to them and shook his head.

“I am Dr. Burk,” he replied. “Your friend suffered a lot of damage for one stab wound but she is in stable condition we had to put a tube down her throat so she could break but as far as her friend that came in with her she didn’t make it,” he said with his head down.

“Where is she?” Jay asked.

“I’ll take you up to the OR,” the doctor replied. They all headed for the elevators and went up to go see her. They all froze when the saw all these tubes and wires in her body.

“Is she in pain?” Jay asked stroking her forehead.

“No,” the doctor replied. “But we will be taking out the tube soon to see if she can breath on her own again only time will tell,” he said walking out.

“What happened baby?” Jay asked. “Who did this to you?” He asked with tears falling down his face and the others went out of the room.

“I know who did this to her,” Manny replied firmly. “It was that Nick guy,” she said with her arms crossed and the others nodded in agreement.
