Chapter VIII - The Pain of Love, Life, and Confusion: A Sister is Betrayed

~Sunday Afternoon~
Piper had prepared a very delicious lunch for her sisters, husband, and Paige’s beau, when Leo orbed in with information who sent Myraz, he explained that it was a demon that sent him had powers that were demonically equivalent to the Powers of the Charmed Ones. Leo then orbed to find out more information on the demon while Piper gathered Paige and Phoebe, the all ran to the Book of Shadows.
Paige: “After we’re done vanquishing this demon, I really need to talk to you guys and introduce you to my 'man'...
Piper: “Sure honey after this we’ll eat lunch and talk.
Paige: “Thanks You Guys!” she was quickly interrupted by Phoebe
Phoebe: “I think I found the demon…her name is Damiana", as Phoebe then read the entry:
Damiana:
A magical being that was born of flesh and the power of three magical beings:
Born 1/3 Witch
Born 1/3 White-lighter
Born 1/3 The Source before empowerment therefore can only choose one magical side to serve, confirmed by Wiccan, is indestructible. Phoebe then read the bottom of the page Demonic then has no soul, will kill anyone/anything to destroy desired prey and must be destroyed. Has powers equal to the ‘Charmed Ones’ and is the single most powerful magical being after them, at times indestructible. Phoebe: “Here’s a photo of her!” as all three looked
Paige: “Oh My God...it can’t be!” as she looked at the picture it looked exactly like her soul mate Samara.
Piper: “She’s a very beautiful evil...What’s wrong sweetie?”
Phoebe: “Yeah Paige what’s wrong?”
Paige: “Well how do we know she’s evil?”
Piper: scarcastically “Well let's see...... she’s the Source’s Daughter”
Paige: “But she could be Wiccan, which makes her an innocent…right!?!”
Piper: annoyed “Paige she’s the only one we’ve seen so far in the book who has powers like ours if you find another demon that has the same characteristics then we’ll talk, but until then we have to vanquish her.
Paige: “We should wait on Leo and see what the Elders say what if were wrong.”
Phoebe: “Paige if we weren’t right why is she in the Book of Shadows!?!”
Paige: at a lost for words because she was calling Leo…”LEO...LEO PLEASE WE NEED YOU!”
Leo: orbed in immediately with news on the demon they were after: “All right the Elders know whom the culprit is.....It’s Dr.....
As Leo was about to announce who it was a Dark-Lighter appeared and shot him with a spear, as they scrabbled and turned around and saw him there Paige tried to call for his crossbow, but it would budge.
Dark-lighter: “You Stupid witch, you can’t orb the crossbow I’m as as powerful as you and besides if you touch it you’ll die!”
Leo: “Paige don’t you’ll be hurt...find another way to destroy him.”
Phoebe then ran to his side to extract the bow, but she knew Leo couldn’t heal himself, so he orbed to the Elders for healing, so he could return and help his wife and sisters.
Paige: “Piper Freeze him!”
Piper: “I can’t...I don’t know why, but I can’t!”
Phoebe then roundhouse kicked the bow and arrow from the Dark-lighter and Piper blew it up, he got angry and threw the sisters across the room and made another one appear. Paige couldn’t orb because the Dark-lighter froze her powers so they’re only option was to fight. They were batter and beaten trying to protect Paige from the Dark-lighter. That’s when Samara sensed Paige in danger and orbed/shimmered to the attic, as she made it to the attic she saw the Dark-lighter getting ready to shoot Paige.
Samara: “Paige LOOK OUT!” as she ran and pushed Paige out of the way of harm and took the arrow for her love.
Dark-Lighter: “Long time no see I’ve been waiting for you!…as he shot Samara with another arrow
Samara: “NO…..GO TO HELL YOU BASTARD!” as she illuminated an orbed fireball in her hand and before could blink out she vanquished him. Samara then extracted both bows from her body and crawled to the aide of her hurt girlfriend.
Phoebe: “That’s her Piper….That’s Damiana….she’s going after Paige. Blow her up NO Leo Leo:orbing in to heal them screamed “PIPER, DON’T!!!" and before he could stop her she had already tried to blow Samara up, but instead of her being disintegrated she was thrown into the glass mirror and was knocked completely unconscious! Leo quickly rushed to Piper, Paige, and Phoebe and healed them, as he was done doing so Paige went to her lover’s side and held her and tried to comfort her.
Paige: crying hysterically “Samara can you hear me pl hol hold on….Please…I’m so sorry….I Love You!”
Piper: “What’s going on?” as she slowly approached Paige as she held the unconscious women.
Paige: yelling angerily “How could you do this to her?”……”How could you do this to me?”
Phoebe: “How could we do what?”…”How do you know her…Paige?”
Paige just sat on the attic floor and cradled her girl as she cried ignoring her sisters as she screamed: “LEO HEAL HER…..HEAL HER NOW DAMN IT!”
Leo: tried but to no avail did she heal “I’m sorry Paige……but I can’t heal the dead!”
Piper: “Paige what’s going on?”
Phoebe: “Paige maybe we can help if you tell us what’s going on!”
Paige: “Please don’t leave me……” as Paige held her love and orbed her to her loft to form of safety way from her sisters.
Piper: “What just happened……what’s wrong with Paige…..where did she go?” as Piper and Phoebe both turned to Leo for the answers.
Leo: “Piper, Phoebe….Why? Why did you try and destroy Damiana? Why would you assume she was evil?” as her tried to bottle his anger.
Phoebe: “We tried to Leo because she evil just take a look at her entry.”
Piper: who handed her husband the book looked very pissed and said “If she’s not evil then why does her entry in the page say must be destroyed?”
Leo: who then lifted up the entry out of it’s folds to reveal that the bottom half of Damiana’s entry was torn out because she was confirmed as Wiccan….then said softly…”You read the entry wrong…you read the bottom half to the leader of the Dark-Lighters named Drahmin...that's who sent Myraz!." as he held his head down in sorrow for his sister Paige and Damiana/Samara "And that's the Dark-Light that she just vanquished to save you all!"
Phoebe: “Oh no Leo!……we're so sorry about it we didn’t mean to."
Piper: “We're really sorry honey!….Wait she indestructible right so she survive….right?”
Phoebe: “Yeah what about her indestructibility?”
Leo: said with sadness in his voice “She is indestructible, but not until the Wiccan ritual is performed to relinquish her of being a descendant of the Source.”
Piper and Phoebe looked in horror as they realized that they had killed an innocent…a Wiccan innocent at that, they then asked Leo why Paige had orbed away and what was going on with them and Damiana. Leo just explained that once he knew what the Elders were going to do about the situation and how they could turn it around that they should speak to Paige…that is if she would still speak with them. Piper and Phoebe couldn’t understand everything they just figured that they murdered an innocent that was a dear friend to their sister, never putting two and two together on the subject.
