The Magician's Daughter

Considering, Malcolm decided to accompany her to the front door of her house, something he hadn't planned on doing. He was just going to creep in the bushes to make sure she was safe, you know.

He tucked her into bed. He huged her, but she held onto him. She certainately wasn't going to let go of the fatherly, protective presence he had.

THEA
I'm scared.

MALCOLM
*sighed*

She couldn't see the moon and the stars reflecting on his eyes, laying on her face, because her eyes were shut tight.

MALCOLM
Ok, then.

All her muscles eased up greatly. Although, it seemed she would not drift to sleep in any sort of manner.

The next morning...

THEA (awkward~)
Uh! ... Thanks.
For. *gulps* ...staying the night.

MALCOLM
Anytime.

THEA (a tad less awkward)
Yeah, if I ever need a night light, I'll call you.

Malcolm snickers. He's giving a smile, which to Thea, is also contagious.
