Chp. 7

“Do you really have to go now?” Sam was draped in nothing but a wet towel. Fresh from the shower that he and his brother had together, the younger Winchester was lying down on the bed with a lustful expression.

Dean was pulling a shirt over his naked chest. In one smooth motion he glided over to sit on the edge of the bed. He leaned in and kissed Sam with the image of Snow White’s kiss with Prince Charming in mind.

He pulled away, reluctantly. He would love a quick fuck but he needed to get to the club before it closed. This tiny town only had one, and it closed at 2 a.m.

Of course Dean could just order people to give him money. But the command’s effects only lasted for so long. Dean didn’t need someone waking up one day, realizing that they gave a stranger a hundred dollar bill and tracking Dean down to get it back. That would put Sam in danger. Beside, winning it was a lot more fun.

“Yep. Let’s get you ready before I leave, okay Sammy?” Dean walked to get the tether.

Sam murmured, “m’kay.”

The younger Winchester sat up while Dean came and locked his wrist, attaching the other end to the bed. It was just enough room for Sam to be able to get to the bathroom if needed. Dean thought back to his little brother’s poor excuse when he first saw Sammy trying to escape. The bathroom? The bathroom wasn’t even in the living area. Sam had been going to wrong way.

The bathroom was to the left of the bed, not very far from it. Dean darted to the kitchen real quick and handed Sam a beer. Sam thanked him and placed it on the desk. He already looked sad that Dean had to go.

“Don’t think about leaving, Sam,” Dean told him, “I’ll only be gone for a few hours. Call me if anything happens. By the time I get back, I should have some money for us. Then we can watch another movie or something.”

Sam nodded. “Be careful, Dean. Watch out for anything supernatural.”

The supernatural was what Dean was worried about the most. He didn’t want any ghosts thinking that they can attack his brother while he was away. There hadn’t been any reports of strange occurrences in this town but one can never be too careful. Dean salted the entire area just to be on the safe side.

He locked the door before heading to his beloved car. Just after he got behind the steering wheel, a voice called his name.

“Hello Dean.”

His blood chilled by several degrees as Dean stared wide-eyed at the newcomer. Alastair’s white eyes were boring inside his. Dean gulped and fingered the pistol in his pocket.

“Now you know that won’t work,” the tormentor chuckled with wicked intentions.

“What do you want?” Dean tried to keep the fear out of his voice.

Alastair shrugged.

“Well. I want to take you home.”

“I am home,” Dean responded coldly.

“With your little brother that you’ve been fucking? I guess if that’s how you define ‘home.’ But what do you think you’re going to do to stop me?”

Dean frowned. He really didn’t know how. Sam needed him. If he was taken to Hell now, Sam would be left tethered. The thought nearly scared him shitless.

“But don’t misunderstand me. I won’t take you home yet. I’m impressed that you managed to escape. It makes me want you to accept my offer even more now,” Alastair’s eyes shone in amazement.

Dean glared at him. He was still toying with his weapon in his pocket, though only for some comfort.

“I define home as somewhere that doesn’t make me eat my own intestines.”

“That was a one time thing-”

“I won’t let you take me back there.”

“Dean,” Alastair sounded amused, like a father would when his son told him he would never go to bed, “How do you think you can escape me forever? Your soul is still mine. And a hunter will attack you one of these days. Then you will go straight back where you came from. And even if you were to stick around on Earth, your little brother’s going to leave sooner or later. You may not age anymore but he still does.”

It was like a shot to the head. Dean didn’t even think about that. He was so happy to have found Sammy again that he didn’t realize it wouldn’t last forever. He couldn’t just order Sam to stop aging either. He hated it that his new powers were so limited.

“You...you said you wouldn’t take me back yet?” he asked for confirmation. At the very least he still had a chance to get Sammy out of here.

“That’s right.”

“What do you want?”

Alastair laid his elbow on the car. He smiled sheepishly at his favorite plaything. Dean remembered when Alastair had him run over by his own impala. Several times. It was actually one of the more lenient tortures Dean had to experience.

“If you accept my proposal, then you can stay with Sam for a whole year.”

Not that crappy deal again. Alastair held up a finger.

“And as an added bonus. You can take Sam home with you when the time’s up.”

“Why the hell would I want him in Hell?” Dean snapped.

“I just assumed you would want to be with him,” this caused Dean to wince because he did want that, very much. Alastair continued, “I promise that he won’t be tortured.”

Dean didn’t trust him. “Like I’d believe that.”

“If he is hurt by someone other than you or by someone you have hurt him, then you can both go free. We’ll make the deal. No tricks. If you don’t want to make the deal, that’s fine. I’ll just take you home now.”

Dean swallowed thickly. There wasn’t much choice. At least this way he could be guaranteed that nothing would happen to Sam. He took a moment to think.

“Fine. Deal.”

Sam fiddled with the toy that Dean had given him. There was a bottle of lube next to the stand. As tempted as he was to use it, he wanted Dean’s cock even more.

For the past four hours Dean had been gone. Sam was starting to get really worried. He pulled out his cell phone and called his big brother. It was the only number listed on his cell anymore.

“Sam?” Dean’s voice eased Sam a bit.

“Hey, Dean. I was wondering if you were almost home?”

“Yep. Just finished up here. Got 5 Benjamins out of the deal. I’m damn tired, so I’ll be home in about half an hour.”

“Okay. Anything interesting happened?” Sam asked just for the sake of conversation.

There was a sudden pause.

“No. Not that I can think of. Just some sore losers. Don’t worry. I’ll be home soon.”
